Hi I just moved from the S10+ to 1+ and was used to the full navi gestures on the S10+ specially the back gesture and have a hard time with the one implemented on the 1+ is there a way to change the positions from where you can invoke it?

I jumped on the bandwagon of the prime day PH-1 and picked one up. I ran through all of the updates and turned on the fingerprint sensor gestures but they aren't working. fingerprint for unlock works just fine though. I've rebooted several times and done a hard reset to no avail. Am I out of luck here?
Thanks
If you updated to Android Pie you have to enable gestures. Burried all the way in the system tab at the bottom of settings.
What do they do? I find the sensor is not in a good place for gestures.
I love the apps oneplus gestures and hide nav bar though. Gives same gestures as op6 and hides nav bar for full screen.
Shame they are not built in along with double tap to wake and skip lock screen after face unlock.
On the Essential its just to pull down the notification shade.

I was just about to start searching for this feature. Coming from the Pixel 2 XL I realized I didn't really need it but just wanted to have it lol. This phone is really nice too bad there won't be a second one
I was disappointed to find that in Pie there is no back gesture.
I have two questions regarding this
1. is there any way to add a left swipe action (back) to the pill? and
b. is there any way to customize gestures for the fingerprint reader? I can't get third-party fingerprint reader apps to work.
I am locked and not rooted
Hey guys.
When the OP6 originally came out, it had Always-On Display enabled which was then ported back to 5&5T because Oxygen OS was so similar on the devices.
Just a shot in the dark here, could the same logic be applied to implement navigation gestures on the OnePlus 5 natively? (XDA's NAV Gestures is good and all, but still).
If not possible, feel free to explain why to me. I want to learn something from this.
I just upgraded to Oneplus 8 Pro from Oneplus 5T.
Oneplus 5T is still a great phone with fingerprint on the back which can swipe down the notification easily.
Now I am using oneplus 8 Pro, this phone is too big for my hand to reach the top and pull down the notification, i have to use 2 hands to do it.
I know Oneplus has removed this feature since OP6 came out. I would like to ask if anyone knows the solution for this? Anyway better than setting up the navigation bar ?(I already know this)
I'm currently sideloadig different apps to my TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS and i was wondering if there's a way to disable the swipe gesture to go back as it's really getting on my nerves in certain apps, or just change that the gesture only works on the side of the screen instead of the whole screen
No, it cannot be changed or disabled.
