i got this unit yesterday from the seller autoradio-1001.
It is equipped with a dvd drive above the screen.
SO far it is working, but getting high temperatures by stock cooling (45°C inside / 100°C cpu in idle) whilst having 32°C outside temp.
The board is soldered and not changeable.
It is labeled RD-F1.8-MB-1.5FD+1.5GD-V00.
MFD is 2017-10-28
Attached are some pictures of the board (took from outside through fan opening), and the "Raise" canbus adaptor.
Second post will be some pictures of "about" in settings.
Please note - it is for honda civic hatchback 2015.
Maybe you can help me identify which rom i can try and which root should work (risky, as i dont have any stock rom backup / full nand backup)

Regarding factory settings, i tried most known passwords: 3387 - 3386 - 126 - 0000 - 00000 - 000000 - 123456 - 8888 -
i would be glad for further hints on possible passwords or ways to enter without entering the password. (shortcut master doesnt work, just canbus setting did work with it)

Interestingly, there is a seller (MotorOne) here in South America using this MCU too. It's using Android 8.1. Had you tried any 9 version?

Looks like I have unit with same board. It is made by XRROSS , my model number is X7510A8P5S4-UP.
i cant find password to access factory settings. I was thinking about changing firmware but I don't want to brick this unit.

Is the canbus decoder plugged in right if so try and disconnect battery for a few seconds and reconnect if that doesnt help ask the seller if they can send you a new canbus decoder

Yes, everything is correctly connected. Everything was working fine, until I factory reset the android settings. after I restored the factory settings it stopped working.

This is literally what happened with mine.
Having same issue in mine MTK YT9216CJ after upgrade to 9.1, Reset multiple times but not able to access Canbus or protocol settings. Any suggestions would be helpful to fix. Removed and reconnected canbus wiring but no help.
I think it’s a case of getting updated software, but there isn’t an easy go to place for the software.

I bought this recently for android gaming but it sucks! It didn't have full play store I couldn't install chrome etc and although it is a good piece of hardware I couldnt use it. I couldn't install any other game. So I tried the X3 mod firmware and capout. Then I test original X3 and X2 and finally it worked with Vontar X4 firmware perfectly except NO ETHERNET! All the other functions was perfect and fast enough. But the same no full play store and many limitations but a better interface and rooted.
Is there any Firmware for this H96 MAX S905X4 4GB ram, 64 ROM to be a "normal" android tv box with full play store for gaming?
Also if anyone have the Factory ROM please send me a msg because now with the V Firmware it is useless. I don't use wifi at all.

S týmto firmvérom funguje H96Max X4 perfektne, ale nesvieti displej a nefunguje WiFi. Inak všetko funguje výborne. Skúšal som to kvôli KODI, ale niektoré videá H 264 mi to neprehralo. Teraz skvelé!

hi friend I updated with this firmware, but i dont realized that my unit is 1280x720 so the image is cut and not usable. I tried to downgrade to a previous version of the K2001N but i cant find one, can you help me?

Sorry I realized that my headunit uses 7”800x480 resolution, but i can’t find any firmware for K2001N_NWD with that screen size. I search in the 4pda forum but all of then shows with a bigger resolution that my unit

Provavelmente o seu seja K2001N porem nao seja NWD. Pois os NWD sao 10 polegadas.
Sugiro entrar em contato com o suporte que te vendeu o aparelho

Also I found in this forum that there is other devices like mine with K2001N_NWD and 7" screen.
If you have contact with your supplier, can you ask if he has the 7" firmware for K2001N_NWD please?
