how can I install TWRP on my ZTE Blade V10 (Android 9)? I can't find any information about.
I have just taken a look and found the following information concerning the ZTE Blade V10:
ZTE Blade V10 official firmware flash file
BLADE V10 SD card software package (376090B2202GEN_EU_EEA_V1000_V7.0)
unofficial twrp 3.3.1 Root ZTE blade v10
Easy Method To Root ZTE Blade V10 Vita Using Magisk [No TWRP needed]
There is barely any info about that phone at all, there seems to be no custom ROM and the only point to fiddle around with any of the above would be to get Magisk installed.
Since there is no custom ROM and with the phone stuck at Android 9 (GEN_EU_EEA_V1000_V7.0) I was just thinking of using it as a backup device only, without SIM cards, for some essential banking apps that are causing problems on customs ROMs with Magisk / microG / unlocked bootloader.
The plan would be to first make a factory reset (to erase all data), then go through the initial install process without adding a Google account and all the suspicious options disabled, install AuroraDroid and AuroraStore for access to software, only configure the bare minimum, disable all unused apps, install just the essential banking apps and use just for this specific purpose.
If anyone has any input on that matter or has found something useful for this phone, please let me know.

Taken in parts from information provided by Gluk41 on the russian 4pda forum, here is a simple guide how to install the latest Chinese Marshmallow (beta) on your Honor 4c / GPlay mini:
Be aware that:
all userdata will be erased, TWRP recovery, gapps and root have to be redone
system partition is almost full, pico opengapps barely fit (better to remove some apps)
this is a developer beta version for the chinese market (but has all languages included)
Downloads & Installation
Flash TWRP from here and backup whatever you need
Download the complete 6.4.16 ROM here and copy the dload folder to SD card
Flash the region information for UL00 umicom / cn from TWRP
Reboot and all 3 buttons pressed until the installation starts
--
Update: For your convenience I put all 3 files in the Mega Folder
--
The 3 button method uses its own built-in recovery and can be used with TWRP installed! All 3 buttons might have to be pressed for quite some time (20sec or even longer) until it starts. The ROM installs fine with the correct region information, otherwise it will fail around 5%.
TWRP & root
TWRP will be replaced by the standard recovery and needs to be re-flashed. For Root follow the MM Root thread by inshaalmirza. I had to flash the current SuperSU 2.7.1 beta twice until it worked.
The pre-installed app 'Phone Manager' seems to block SuperSU from working correctly. You might not see the root request if you start an app that requires root. A work-around is, to manually start SuperSU before or after starting the app that requires root. The, request eventually will pop up after a few seconds. Either uninstall the Phone Manager or configure it not to block SuperSU.
Google Apps
This ROM comes without Google Apps and a lot of chinese apps pre-installed. The system partition is almost full. Therefore it is recommended to remove some of the chinese apps before flashing Gapps. Use the openGapps arm64 6.0 pico version, others will not fit unless you remove a lot of the pre-installed apps. Flash the Gapps via TWRP, reboot and let the phone settle for a few minutes. After unlocking, you will get a black screen. Reboot in TWRP and wipe all user data. After the next reboot, setup wizard should start and everything should be fine.
Enjoy but be aware, it is just a developer beta version.
In China the latest update is 6.2.1,not 6.4.16. I wonder where is 6.4.16 from.Sorry for my bad English.

Hi everyone! I am considering the European zte axon 7 but because they messed up the audio volume would root, so I can increase back the volume. However would like to keep the zte axon 7 s Android. By rooting will be able to remove unwanted software aswell. Anybody can help me with advise for rooting and keeping zts's own android version which I would prefer than unstable roms?
Flash TWRP, flash unofficial fastboot, unlock bootloader, flash SuperSU 2.65 via TWRP.
Is there a working root method for the Moto G4 (Running Android 7.0) yet?
And I'm not talking about the G4 plus...
I desperately want to break my phone free.
There must be one by now.

G4 and G4 plus use the same method, flash TWRP then elemental x kernel and then you can root it With super su or magisk.

This guide shows you how to root with SuperSU https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...de-root-moto-g4-plus-supersu-android-t3587918
Ensure you've flashed a custom kernel such as ElementalX before rooting, else you'll trip anti-rooting protections built into the stock kernel, which may necessitate a re-flash of your stock ROM. You may wish to use newer versions of SuperSU. Alternatively, if you wish to use magisk for rooting, you can have a look at this guide I've written based on the above link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72496111&postcount=270
I've used this method to root a G4 Plus running NPJS25.93-14-8 (June 2017 stock ROM) with magisk 13.3 and have EX Kernel Manager, Amaze and other root utilities running okay. Furthermore, with the built-in root hiding abilities of magisk, SafetyNet dependent apps appear to run okay. I believe SuperSU has a similar addon to hide root from various detection methods too.
Something I've run into with using the stock ROM with TWRP is that Google Play Store may show an error 0 when attempting to download apps or updating. Seems this is related to permissions issues on the data partition and you may be able to correct them with this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73604008&postcount=19
As mentioned above, the same steps should apply to G4 devices (and has been tested on G4 devices). As usual, unlocking your bootloader will wipe your device (as a security measure) so back up your data and move it off your device. You may wish to back up your SD card if adopted as internal storage (or find a way to save your encryption key). Also, requesting the unlock key from Motorola, regardless of whether you use it, appears to void your remaining service warranty.
Futhermore, once rooted, you will not be able to accept OTA updates, and attempts to do so will soft-bootloop your device unless you boot to bootloader and select 'Start' to boot to system. To accept OTA updates, you'll have to revert back to a clean stock ROM (and of the same build or newer - attempts to revert back to older stock ROMs than what you had, especially if you were previously on the March/June 2017 patch level, have a nasty habit of hard bricking if you took OTA updates).
If you're okay with all that, then good luck rooting

Oh, okay. But even still - I think he should be asking the question individually. Not only would he get more help from people but it wouldn't detract from my post.

Thanks so much! Worked perfectly on the Moto G4.
Consider the question closed
I tried all methods which are there on site but each time same and only problem is coming that is my phone is not getting rooted correctly I tried so many times but when I'll check with root checker it says it's not rooted but I successfully unlocked bootloader but I can't complely root it, can someone help me?
What device do you have and what ROM are you running?
If you're rooting on the stock Motorola ROM, do you have TWRP flashed/booted, then flashed ElementalX? Afterwards, what root managers are you using? You could try magisk 16 or 15.3. However, if you've previously used SuperSU or another root manager, you may have to re-flash the original stock kernel (then flash ElementalX then root) to remove any remainders of the old root managers, else they may interfere with magisk to the point of the root not being stable.
I have Moto g4 plus XT 1643 and I tried to root with by using twrp latest version and lineage os 14.1 athene. The was working fine but my phone is still showing that this device is not rooted

What root manager are you using? The official Lineage OS (as of Jan 2017) does not come with a root manager, you must download and flash your own. You could either use the Lineage_SU_addon (you'd want the arm variant for 14.1) or magisk or SuperSU as a root manager.
I am new in this so I don't know that much details so can you help me by giving me link so that I can go through step by step and try to do what you are saying

1)Download the Lineage SU addon (from here https://download.lineageos.org/extras - you want the arm 14.1 zip) OR magisk (from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445 ) Only download one, please and if you want to switch, you ideally want to restore your backup or dirty flash the custom ROM to restore the Lineage kernel.
2)Reboot your device to TWRP.
3)In TWRP backup your device. Keep this backup safe.
4)In TWRP, go to 'Install' and flash the package you downloaded.
5)Wipe cache and Dalvik in TWRP after the flash.
6)Reboot.
7)Verify you have root.
You may also wish to browse the Lineage 14.1 thread for our device here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-1-t3522101 Please use the search function by the page numbers to quickly search the thread for information

Hi I'm new to XDA Forums, I was searching for posts about rooting my Moto g4 Plus. I would like to know Why we should flash a kernel before flashing SuperSU or Magisk ? Nb: I just only want the root access. Not in a plan to flash a custom rom. Thanks in Advance.

The stock Motorola kernel in stock Nougat ROMs appears to have anti rooting measures included (I think DM Verity?) If you attempt to root on this stock Nougat kernel, you'll likely soft brick/bootloop your device.
A custom kernel (e.g. elementalX v2.0.1 for stock) does not have these anti rooting defences, so it's safer to root with magisk. I would recommend magisk as super SU hasn't been updated in some time.
It appears that this need to flash a custom kernel before rooting applies to Nougat stock ROMs; marshmallow stock ROMs and the Oreo soak test stock ROM appear not to require a custom kernel.
As an aside, custom kernels and root are not necessary to flash custom ROMs. The only tools you require are an unlocked bootloader and the correct TWRP. The kernels included with these custom ROMs may also have anti rooting measures disabled, so it's safer to directly root without having to use a custom kernel.
hey so i'm in a super tight situation. So before i used to run pixel pie experience custom rom on my g6. but i went back to stock because of overheating issues. I tried the v29 pie beta but going back to the official latest 8.0 update, i somehow locked my bootloader. I went to unlock it again but my IMEI is "00" and is glitched out. My goal is to install magisk to then install twrp the root way (throught the official twrp app) to then install another kernel because the cpu frequency scaling is too much for me. so if there is anyone available to teach me how to flash things through adb, fix my IMEI, or just help me, it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
Use Z3x from here to fix IMEI. Unlock bootloader, flash TWRP using fastboot, flash Magisk and then You can play with CPU frequency.
