T-Mobile Unlock Token - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

I have sim card unlock and went to unlock bootloader and go to the site https://www.oneplus.com/global/unlock_token....and it is NOT up and running. Man OnePlus really sucks sometimes.
If anyone has another suggestions that would be great.:fingers-crossed:
Thank you

T-Mobile doesn't sell the oneplus 8 pro. They sell the onwplus 8. The 8 pro is already Sim unlocked and bootloader unlockable

You need to be logged in on OnePlus website before visiting that page. If you don't have an account, create an account and log in and then go to https://www.oneplus.com/unlock_token
After you submit for your unlock token it will take 7 days to get it. You used to be able to get to that page without logging in but they updated it to only be visible when logged in.

Thank you I'll give it a shot.?

I have the oneplus 8 tmobile and I got tmobile to unlock sime. After few days I went to oneplus site to apply for the bin file. Filled out the info. and submitted waited two weeks and still no bin code. Chatted with oneplus support and they said tmobile is the one who creates the bin code and then they send it to oneplus who then sends us a link to download it.What I'm asking is this true and if not who should I speak to at oneplus to get the code?

Well I recently sent my IMEI for another but I received nothing, I had to write to some of the moderator so that he sent me the code.
I have unlocked two bravos now, today I received the code for the other bravo I bought!
Easiest way to get your Sim unlock code
Your Sim unlock or subsidy code is made from the IMEI number on your phone. The most relyable codes come from the carrier that the phone belongs to. E.G. I took me 10 mins to get my subsidy code from AT&T, That includes my waiting and hold times. If they won't give it to you just tell them your going overseas for awhile and they'll be more willing to give it to you. If you found this helpful there's a thanks buttion below. Give it a push!
i just got mine unlocked from the russain forum, they work real fast , its awesome
hmmmmmmmmmmm
I tried the russain forum and I couldn't even get past the registration part. The Google Translator just came up with an error after error. I was getting so frustrated I just gave up for now.
To alexey_tolstyh : Did you get my PM I sent you?
My g/f called AT&T today and told them she bought the phone from someone that had an account with AT&T and that she needed an unlock code for it. The Rep. asked her for the IMEI number and then gave her the unlock code after about a minute. The call lasted about 7 minutes. Wow what a surprise.
If anyone needs a bravo unlocked just pm or email me. I have an account on the Russia forum and my google works. [email protected] i'll get you your code as soon as i get it.

Unlock AT&T S4 to T-mobile

Hello,
I am sorry to ask this again but I have an AT&T S4 that's currently stock and runing 4.4.2 and I was wondering if there is any way to unlock it for T-mobile? I tired following some of the posts on here but they seem to be old and outdated. Does anyone have any other suggestions?'
Thanks!

I haven't heard anything yet..did more digging and it seems like you have to downgrade but then it's not guaranteed that you can unlock it.. I bought an unlock code for $30..still waiting to get it so I'll let you know if it works lol

If you are an AT&T customer or a previous member you can unlock your AT&T phone by going here. It is FREE and i have done it with all my phones so far. They provide you with an unlock code and all you have to do is insert the new non-at&t sim and enter the unlock code.

Since you have the unlock code, it will be almost the same thing. All you do is insert the non-att sim card and it will ask you to enter the unlock code. Enter the code and now you have an unlocked phone.

Anyone can unlock Sprint LG V20 remotly ?

When i pop in my t-mobile sim card, the phone does not recognize it or prompt me for a network code or anything ? anyone know of someone or a service to sim unlock the sprint variant ? Thank you
Bump
I'm also trying to figure this out, as I am not able to even connect to T-Mobiles server to trigger the unlock. All that my unlock app does is just sit there with a spinning wheel and say " connecting to server, please wait " , so if I cannot get passed that than I'm screwed cause it's gotta at least prompt me if I want to unlock permanently or temporary. Darn thing just keeps spinning like I'm blocked from even connecting. Can someone who is rooted check to see if their phone will prompt for an unlock or not? Thanks in advance!

If the T-Mobile unlock app is on the Sprint version (Which I doubt) use this site https://www.unlockbase.com/phone-unlocking-service/tmobile-device-unlock-app-official-unlock/ otherwise you might contact them and find out if they can sim unlock it another way. Or sideload the T-Mobile Unlock app and see if it works that way (I doubt this would work but you never know til you try)

If you are rooted, it can detect it and it will stay on the spinning wheel. Only way I got it to work was to restore to stock no root and it worked (It kept giving me a unlock not available until I bought the unlock service from https://www.unlockbase.com/phone-unlocking-service/tmobile-device-unlock-app-official-unlock/ )

I was thinking that it was because I was rooted , so I guess I will try and restore to an unrooted state and see if that makes a difference.

is the phone paid off in full? no more monthly obligation? if not that's the reason you can't unlock. it's because you don't own the phone sprint does. NO ONE can get a device unlocked from distributor without full payment fulfillment.

I've been trying to get the code to unlock my honor v9 now for over a month with no success. At first I was able to log on to the huawei unlock page and enter the phone details, but it would tell me that the account was not active with that phone for 14 days yet.
Then recently it will not even allow me to log on. No matter what I do I cant logon.
Can someone help please?

Interesting. See below response I got from Huawei email support re unl0ck9ng bootloader. It appears that in order to get past the 14 days error you have to log into your account everyday for 14 days. See response below:
If you would want to unlock your phone, you should meet the following conditions:
1.Please register your Huawei ID in our official website http://emui.huawei.com/en/ on your phone.
2.Log in and logout your Huawei ID continuously for 14 days.
3.Each Huawei ID should not apply for the unlock code more than fifth time within 6 months.

One better my V9 is now a honor 8 pro
I successfully rebranded also. Needed my Google apps. Couldn't get them on the V9. V9 is for China and China is anti Google so they try to block Google apps on the phones for the domestic market.
Well I'm good to go now

unlock code on new phone

I had to do insurance on my tmo 6t because I smashed the screen on accident.
I got the replacement from insurance. My question is can I use the unlock.bin I already got from OnePlus to unlock the bootloader? Or will I have to apply for a new unlock.bin and wait 7 days like before?
Pretty sure the .bin is for a specific phone only...Tied to the IMEI. That's why they ask for that info when you apply for the unlock.bin.

The good news is you don't have to wait. Are you already sim unlocked? If not it doesn't really matter because you can convert and unlock your bootloader here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/t-mobile-6t-to-international-t3888307
If you need to sim unlock there are options for that also...
1. By paid unlock service
2. By talking to T-Mobile and hope they will
3. By doing it yourself after converting here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/guide-sim-unlock-t-mobile-version-type-t3915269
I would try T-Mobile first if you're not already sim unlock from the first phone just to have the unlock.bin for this new phone. I have the .bin for mine but have never used it, just wanted to have it. But I'm guessing you already are if you had the .bin for the first phone...just not sure if they re-lock the sim on a replacement for some reason. Like I said you don't have to wait but do the steps just to get the new .bin for the phone.
