I got myself a Lenovo watch 9 and i am trying to configure it. I downloaded the Lenovo Watch app apk and installed it.
The app has paired with the watch and correct time is configured. Apparently when i try to access the mywatch section of the app, the app crashes and closes. I cannot configure further the watch. It has been tried to 3 different Android phones (2 of them are Android One 10, and one is older Xiaomi with EMUI 11).
After one day without connecting the watch to the phone, it stopped showing the correct time. Is there another app or way to configure the watch, please?

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my Android wear app. First Devices: lg g watch r and a Xperia z1 compact with cyanogenmod 12.
When i open the Android wear app on the phone it says that it have to be updatet by deinstalling and reinstalling from the play store. And of course that doesnt work. I cant use the app because only the massage is showing and redirecting to play store. The notification bar shows that the phone is connected to the watch, but if i tap on the watch and see the menu it shows no connection to the watch. I already tried a factory Reset at the watch and of course deleting the wear app and reinstalling it.
I hope you could help me.
Thx spigandromeda
I think i figured out the problem. The apk which is provided through the play store is not the most actual. But it also does not help to simply install a newer one... The app seems to check the version which is provided to me in the play store.
Does anybody have an idea for forcing the play store to provide a newer apk?
Ok so I am no dummy. I have an LG G Watch on my LG G4. I am having a problem pairing *COMPLETELY* my Oukitel A28 with the MediaTek Smart app.
I tried this on the LG G4 and LG G2 (thinking because I have my LG G Watch/G4 might be causing the problem). I paired the phone. It is connected. It synced the contacts. I downloaded the App and went through the motions of selecting notification access and bla bla bla.
But the App never connects. All I see is "connecting..." I deleted the BT profile and tried to load this up multiple ways but all end in the same result.
The weird thing is calls and some things actually go through the watch. I can play music and make/take calls. But all of the other features like Messaging and stuff just says "Pair phone first".
I am not sure exactly what is going on. There are 2 A28 devices found on the phones. Both are paired. Seems I am missing something. I tried this on 2 phones with the same results.
Hi Player911,
I was in your same shoes just this morning but Google helped out.
You may follow the step-by-step guide for the watch at China Gadgets Reviews.
All the credit goes to Stefan Danut.:highfive:
After following these steps, I was able to explore 100% of the watch's functionalities. It is definitely one of the best clones out there.
Hope it helps.
Hi Kempest,
Can you post a link to the instructions you are referring to? I'm having the exact same problem with my A28.
Pairing the A28
Just got mine today (A28) and experienced the same problems.
Solution: Install an updated Mediatek App.
I found the update here: Google Chinagadgetsreviews. Search for A28 hands on first impressions. Sorry, but XDA won't let me post the link!

You can also download the latest version v.2015.07.06 of MediaTekSmartDevice.apk & speechengine.apk from here or from here (12 MB)
The "here" and "here" are links. I clicked on the second (using PC) and downloaded the newer App (RAR Format). Unzipped the RAR and then I copied it to my Android and installed.

Hi,
I have a problem installing the mediatek smart device apk on my oneplus running mokee rom. I was able to download the newest version but get a message "app not installed" every time I try installing it. Anyone having the same problem?
Thanks.
Clarification
After downloading the APK file, you must go to your downloads and run the file to install.
Cool suggestions. I just installed the app from the play store as the built in scanner barcode lead me to a chinese website where the Android version was not loading the page properly.
Kind of silly that the newest working app is out there but the play store has a broken non working version. One would think that would be high priority.
Clarification 2
I installed the PlayStore version first, only to find that it wouldn't function correctly. I used a PC to download the newer version, in zipped and transferred it to the Android. Once on the Android, I just had to execute the APK file. Note my instructions of 11/08/2015.
I have the oukitel a28 aswell, and stand alone i have to say its a pretty good watch for the price. BUT i cant get it to sync to healthkit on my iphone running ios 8.4, anyone else using this watch with iphone?, i can pair it as headset and notifications, but what i really bought it for was the health stats. Ive also read somewhere about some other sync app on the phone that would work with mediatek chip devices, but cant seem to find it again? suggestions please, i know about Mediatek smartdevice and Fundo wear, none of those will sync with ios healthkit..

Hello there, thanks for the suggestion, thats the QR-code link, have tried both fundo wear and the mediatek sync app, none of those sync the health stats, and fundo's servers are very slow and fail most of the times. Such a shame with the sync, when the watch seems great otherwise.
Hello all,
I posted this on the Le Forum first but haven't had any luck. Here's my problem:
Just got my Le Pro 3 and Google Home App doesn't find my Chromecasts. I have a regular Chromecast first generation and a Chromecast Audio.
When I look for Devices, it says "Scanning for Google Cast devices..." and after 10-20 seconds says "No devices found".
What is strange is in You Tube I have the icon to Cast and I can successfully cast videos...
However, for Audio, neither Spotify nor Google Play Music app find any device to cast...
It would be nice to see if someone else has the same problem.
Thanks
I use Miracast or the "Wireless Display" on my Roku Streaming Stick. Had no issues last night. Do you have the Chromecast app installed? Maybe need to set it up again on your device through the app.

Yes I have. It's not Chromecast app any longer. Now it's the Home App.
That's what I will try tonight... Re-setup everything from the Le Pro 3...
I just tried my Google Home app and it found both my chromecasts. I have the original and a 2nd generation one, it found both. x727

Thanks for letting me know! It's definitely a problem with my phone / software....
I will reset both devices later and try to setup them from the Leeco phone.
Yesterday I got back home and I could see my two chromecasts from the Home app.
This morning none of them was visible
I wonder if has to do with Leeco system killing / freezing processes in the background... My notifications (gmail, google hangouts, etc) don't always work....
Any thoughts?
Hello all,
few days ago I purchased a amazfit chinese version. The phone in my possession is an iPhone 6 Plus.
I downloaded from the Apple store the app Amazfit where I have managed without problem to activate the phone.
Unfortunately, however, I can't do the sync with Strava, there's no way. Tells me to log in on the Street asks me for authorization, and then if I agree I do not go out much.
What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks to all,
Vincenzo

The trick on Android was to change from Chinese App to the Playstore version as the Chinese watch is not intended to be synched with Strava.
But i don't know how they do it on iOS.
One solution might be to flash the watch to US version and then pair it but i am not sure if that will work.
If they check serial number when pairing it will not work, if they check firmware version it will.

Hello
in the end I fixed it and the sync between Strava and the iPhone 6 Plus works without problems.
The initial problem I think it was Strava as it took a long time to sync. Now I can just go to run and log my activities on the Amazfit then when I get home to pair everything with the iPhone and then sync everything with Strava.

Do you have the chinese amazifit watch with PACEfied?
If so what Amazfit app do you have in your iPhone? In mine there is NO option for sync with Strava, don't know if my app is the chinese one...
So after months, is there any possibility now to use PACEfied with google play Amazfit version and sync with Strava? I can't scan the barcode (it says that I need cn version)

Is there a reason why you are using ColorOS12 Instead of OxygenOS12?
Didnt hear anything about OxygenOS and Samsung watches but that does not mean it will work.
Same problem is valid for oxygen os 12 also :/

Hello,
I have a Oneplus 10 Pro running ColorOS 12.1 and was running into this same issue. There isn't much information or tutorials when it comes to using these devices using the ColorOS as it seems as if it was meant for Chinese use only.
I was finally able to get my watch paired with my phone using the steps below.
1. Install the Samsung Health app from the play store
2. Download an old version of Galaxy wearable app and Galaxy watch4 plugin from apkmirror ( I used versions from December 2021)
3. Pair the watch using Samsung Health by opening the app. Click the 3 dot menu and go to settings>Accessories>Scan for accessories. Once paired it will automatically open the galaxy wear app.
4. Close the galaxy wear app and disable wifi and data on the phone.
5. Open the galaxy wear app again and proceed with the setup but decline all options that require you to sign on the watch with Samsung or Google and proceed by allowing the required permissions.
6. That's it, you should now be paired with your watch and you can now sign into your Samsung account through the wearable app and perform a backup/restore if you like,
Hope this helps anyone out there. This was a real pain in the but for me as I find ColorOS to be more reliable than the mess that OxygenOS is since it's now a fork of ColorOS.
My next task is to find out how to get the Google Backup to work. If anyone has any information on this please let me know.
