[ROM] The XT720 XDA Special

Well i compiled all the latest Development on WanHus' SC2.2
Now i have alot of thanx to give, i even tried linking to each persons Thanks button, but that failed/...
So Special thanks to
Mioze7Ae, Extensive framework modification. And i mean extensive, deep $h1T!

1. RDS flash to Singapore SBF
2. Root, manually install OpenRecovery, OpenAndroidiani is better.
3. REboot recovery, delete data, cache, dalvik-cache.
4. Restore System, Boot and Logo
Don't restore Data, upload corruption....

And a special one 1sec lag on first picture still there but a lot less.
I tried to get my changes to keep but they did not so this is how to get less lag on picture taking.
In main of Camera tap Scenes
Change to portrait
flash on
In >>> Camera > Settings > iso
Change to 100
In >>> Camera > Settings > Video resolution
Change to HD
The first pic might actually make an FC, dont worry just try again it always sticks the second time.

Thank you all for the hard work. I tried to restore and got this error so I flashed Khal's back right away. Love the new boot logo! lol. So I still have the boot logo can I just remove the MD5 folders and just restore the normal 4 files now? Thanks for any advice

Well you can just Nandroid the rest it will boot... changing instructions/.

1. Gotta flash specifically Korean 2.1? Can't do this straight from the 2.1 (Mio's ESB) I'm currently on? If that's the case, where do I get and how do I do the Korean 2.1 flash?

Break as in bricking my phone permanently? Or do you mean I'll just get bootloops or something and I can fix by entering recovery and flashing a new ROM?

I thought some things do not work with the korean SBF in our non korean XT720?
or will they work again once you have restored the nandroid?

[PORT/PATCH][STOCK CNE5] Patch ROM to get Active Display + quick unlock on lockscreen

Firstly, I'm not an android developer, just someone who wanted to have this feature and decided to do it myself with the help of information on XDA and google. So my thanks goes to XDA for having this wonderful forum where users can share information to benefit the entire community. I thought there would be many like me who would want to have this feature on stock ROM and decided to share this.
Secondly as this is my first post I was not sure where to post it and therefore if this does not qualify for posting here the moderator may move this to the appropriate forum.
This patch is for i9295 on stock CNE5 deodexed ROM
FEATURES

- Active Display
- Quick pin unlock (for pin and password)
- Double tap to sleep on lockscreen
- Wakelock for Secmms removed
KNOWN ISSUES
-------------------------
Lockscreen settings for when pin selected, Quick pin unlock and Double tap to sleep for some reason default to unchecked. It is ok when password is selected though but nevertheless works fine just select it if you want it to work before exit. I am not able to figure out the issue and would love some help here

- Take a nandroid backup
- Flash zip using ClockworkMod recovery
- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Reboot

In case any issues faced restore nandroid backup select advanced option and restore system only.

Why would you want the launcher? The main difference is the shelf (which doesn't have that much to offer imo but prove me wrong!).

I'm interested in the launcher too (Shelf and icons seems nice), I'm willing to port it too but can't find OnePlus 2's framework-res.apk without which it's not possible to decompile the APK, and unfortunately downloading the whole ROM will be pretty heavy for my data plan. :/ It would be nice if anyone would upload the framework-res.apk file, then people can start porting other apps like camera etc. too!

Not familiar with sharing system apk's, but I basically copied mine straight from its location and uploaded it to AFH, link is below. If it doesn't work like that, allow me to facepalm myself and please give me some instructions on how to get it done the right way then.

I've downloaded it from this link (https://mega.nz/#F!cxEAHZqR!Fo2_mch62Wvl764OhEztQQ) in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/apps-deodexed-oxygenos-2-0-apps-t3178472). I've tried installing it on CM12.1 but it doesn't seem to be compatible. I'd like someone to make it work for everyone of us who wants it, so please difuse the message.

i test with your latest phantom kernel([Kernel][Phantom-Reborn][M/LP][CAF]) with yu4711 (msm8916 same processor)cm14 rom other kernel not working tomorrow i'll try for upload
and i am unlable to take snap bec internal and storage not working

OK, i'v allready scanning for sdcard, but unforutunetly my internal storage has been formating -_- i dont know, twrp change language automatic to russian language..

Please Help me for my Samsung S5 SM-G900F

Hello everyone, I installed the LineagesOS 18.1 rom and I am not satisfied. 1.The microphone/speaker doesn't work like before or the sound is just different I've already tried that with mixerpath .XML update but an echo can be heard.2.Some apps don't work, Google maps doesn't work either and other navigation system apps don't work either .3.the camera doesn't work either. Except for these big problems I think the rom is good but I need one without these problems or preferably no other problems for this reason I ask is there a rom from the list where everything works? Or do I have to reinstall the original :-( Thanks for your answers

Yes, there are many models of the S5, you will have to figure out your device's code name and download the right one. As for flashing, this should work. Flash recovery in Odin, and flash ROM through Lineage OS recovery. Let me know if you have any other questions!

OK Great all works fine !
I put the Image in Download then i run Odin>Twrp>Install >select image>after reboot all Apps,pictures,contacts,setings is available I don't loose nothing only the main Front I have to put the apps there ;-)

I would install MicroG, an open-source alternative to Google Play Services. Look here for info on how to install it.

microG is already installed but when you start google maps and enter the destination, the best route is loaded for 5 minutes :-( maybe I should see this as a cigarette break

Alright, I don't know of a solution because I don't use Google apps currently. Instead, I use Organic Maps, which is open-source. It actually works nearly as well as Google Maps, although there is no traffic detection.
