After i recently updated my redmi k20 pro to miui 12, all the styles in my AOD section disappeared except for 3 basic and simple ones, i am not sure how to get all those crazy nice looking styles, i downloaded Themes apk and AOD apk latest versions but still nothing.

Maybe better report to Redmi K20 PRO forum (this one is for Mi 9T/Redmi K20 without Pro)

I actually found a solution just now! I had to disable the dual clock option and its back to work fine, weird and unexpected that if u have dual clock option on you wont have any AOD styles except the basic 3 ones.

Android 8.0 - Turn off adaptive icons?

So far, the update to Android 8.0 on my zenfone 3 is great...
...except that, to me, the adaptive icons are hideous.
I have searched for a way to turn them off and so far been unsuccessful. Is there a way to do it without installing a different launcher or icon pack?
Cheers!

MIUI 10 Stable Released!!!

As We Know Redmi Note 5 Pro Got MIUI 10 Stable This Week
Can We Expect A Good Stable Rom Port For The Same(As The Specs Are Same)
I Just Want MIUI 10 For That Full Screen Mode
Yes I Know There's Already MIUI 10 BETA Port Out There But I Think That's All It Wont Get Updated
Our Legend Sagar Makhar Has Already Build So Many Rom's By Himself He Wont
Have That Much Of Time To Play Around With Particularly One Rom
He Already Has To Work On Lineage 16.0 , AEXv6.0,AEX v5.7 Pixel Exp Pie[9.0]
As We Are On Stock Android And Even On Android P We Will Have A Pill Swipe
We Won't Be Able To Use The Full 6 inch Display And MIUI Is The Closest Thing That We Can Have
If You Ask Me To Use XDA GESTURE CONTROL APP Than Please Don't Suggest
It Sometimes Misbehaves A Lot And Gets Triggered Randomly
We(On Be-Half Of Every X00TD User) Hope Someone's Will Give A ROM Soon
Definitely it will be awesome to get a MIUI 10 Stable version for the Max pro M1.
Here is an alternate perfect Full Screen Gesture fix for the Zenfone Max Pro M1.
Root your M1,
Install Edge Gesture app, give all required permissions.
Configure the app by configuring the Left edge, Right edge, Bottom edge. (In my case Left and Right edge swipe takes me one level Back and swipe from the bottom to go to home and swipe and hold from the Bottom for recent app menu. Change the hold threshold to '244' )
That is it, works exactly like the Note 5 Pro.
Install Navigation Bar remover app or use any other method to Remove the Soft keys.
Restart device.

Check out Deep Black 2.0 and Pure Google 2.3
They both have the same issue ?
I've found a theme called One Cool very nice dark theme with a toast notification I can read.
Highlights are in red, but I edited the theme.xml files and now they are blue and looks great
Pure dark, directly by Play Store
The emerald gold theme (directly purchased from the themes app) is very nice!
Where did you get the One Cool theme from? Since the last update to Android 9 annoyingly there's no more dark themes on honor 9.
If possible can you share it with us. Thx
A pretty good dark theme from the Play Store: Black Pie for EMUI 9/9,1
1. Download the theme from this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=emui.en.com.pieblack&hl=en_US&showAllReviews=true
2, Apply the theme in the Themes app.
3. Turn off Advanced visual effects in Settings> Smart Assistance > Accessibility. (optional)
4. Reboot your phone.
yeah toast messages and contacts is messed up in dark themes, has anyone found one that has fixed those?

Agreed. Most EMUI 9-compatible dark themes seem to work well on devices running EMUI 9.0.0. However, there are some models (like Honor 9, Huawei P10 and some others) which have been upgraded to EMUI 9.0.1.
íi tried some EMUI 9.1-compatible themes. The earlier mentioned Black Pie theme is pretty good, however, the Messages app looks terrible. The messages cannot be read. In a Hungarian Honor 9 forum, someone recommended the Pure Google v.2.8. Here, the Contacts and Messages apps and most system apps look very mice but the Settings main menu is not so nice. At least for me.
The Pure Google v.2.8 theme is available via the Themes Manager app. The app can be downloaded from the Play Store.

Google Assitant notifications not showing after MIUI 12

I am using K20 pro on Official China ROM MIUI 12.0.3.0 and POCO Launcher 2.0
After the update to MIUI 12 and using the stock Launcher I stopped receiving notifications from reminders from Google Assistant...
Using POCO Launcher 2.0 - it gets bit better - I get notification sound and Google Icon on the AOD, but after unlocking the phone - there is nothing.
All other notifications work fine.
I have checked Google Assistant and Calendar notifications (Calendar notifications work fine) and set them to HIGH.
I didn't find solution so far - read of suggestion to disable dark theme and use the stock Launcher - it doesn't help.
Did anybody has similar problem and found solution? Suggestions please?

Honestly, this is Mi 9T/Redmi K20 without Pro forum, maybe you better ask under the Pro forum and it's MIUI 12 threads (but this can be related to your not the stock launcher)

Ah, posted by mistake here, but in this case I am almost sure it will not matter if the device is K20 or K20 pro.
My not stock launcher actually improves the situation a bit (on the stock, I am NOT getting ANY notification, not sound and not icon on the AOD)...
Still, thanks - you are right, probably it is better that a ask at more MIUI 12 specific threads.

Make sure that the app (Google assistant?) is enabled for Autostart and that Battery optimization tor the app is disabled
I just had a similar problem with dual WhatsApp - the second WA was not receiving notifications until I added Autostart and disabled Battery optimization

It is and as I said - I do get sound notification and "G" icon on the Always On Display, but after unlocking the phone - there is no notification at all (what the reminder was about for example).
I read suggestion that disabling the global dark mode helps - well - it didn't.
Any solution?
Poping here to say the issue self resolved after MIUI 12.5.5.

Can we port Color Os 12's AOD and Dialer app instead of the current ones?

The AOD of oneplus is very ridiculous and i dont know why they didnt include the same one of Color OS Here , its almost non customizable and very boring looking , and the dialer is good but the vibration when i answer and end calls is very weak which annoys me so much , so any ideas?
As i said in your other post. I think you have the wrong software firmware.
You should check your software version. It has to be at least C.16.

Mine is C20 and this is how AOD settings look , i cant put a pic from gallery as AOD pic (canvas isnt what i want) like i used to do on find x2 pro , and the notification icons appear white color on AOD instead of colorful icons on Find X2 pro , thats why i want Color os 12 AOD instead of OOS's AOD
