Install Amazon Services on Android Phone - Fire General

Can Amazon Services be installed on an Android phone (Huawei P40 Pro)? I would like to install the amazon mobile services framework to enable Amazon Device Messaging for some apps that you ADM.
I was hoping there are apks that can be installed (similar to the process to install the google services framework).

If you have an Amazon Fire then chances are I (Or somebody else) could make a Windows app to copy the APK's over to another phone. Root access might be required. I'm not sure. Or you could just download the Amazon App Store and most of the apps will be available there. However, some apps are exclusive to Amazon Fire tablets. And a lot of the ones that aren't are slightly modified for the tablet. It just depends on what you want. There's also quite a few Amazon apps in Google Play, but I'm pretty sure Huawei phones don't have Google Play, right?

Google Play (Market) vs. Amazon Appstore

I'm not attached to any Google Apps and it seems to me that getting Play (Market) installed on the Nook is a bit of a pain.
Moreover, Google goes out of the way to make it difficult.
The Amazon Appstore gives you a URL to just download their store app.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get-appstore/android
Isn't Amazon a better place to go for apps? Your opinion?
Afaik, amazon apps only can be downloaded from few countries, such as usa, canada, australia etc. It is not active on my country, so its not an option..
It's just another app store; there's several others. The only differences I've seen are 1) some apps get updated faster on the Play store; and 2) your purchases are not backed up to your google account so when you set up a new device you have to go to the amazon app store and find/download the apps you want individually.
There are a number of apps I use that aren't on Amazon; the Market is the only source.
I'll just add that some of the apps that you get off Amazon, including free ones,
require you to keep the Amazon Appstore on your device to run them.
This may not be an issue for some, but if you use logcat,
continuous 1/2 page burps of complete nonsense out of the Appstore application in the logcat is a distraction.

HD 10 (2017) Play Store Question

Hello,
I have followed the directions in this thread and successfully installed Play Store. Through the Play Store, I installed Play Books since that contains my largest ebook library. However, for it to properly sync, it requested me to update Google Play Services, which I did (not sure if this will cause any problems in the future, let's hope not). So that worked and I have my full library on my Fire 10.
But even after that, my paid apps from the Play Store requires me to re-buy them. Should I attempt to manually update Play Store to the latest version and see if the apps still require me to re-buy them or is there another method that allows me to re-download my apps for free?
EDIT: Actually after rebooting and waiting in the shop for a few minutes, the apps updated and I can re-download them. Consider this question answered.

[Q] Installing Google Play on Oculus Go

Hello,
I'm looking for info if is possible to successfully install and run google play and non android tv apps on oculus go.
Thanks in advance.
What has worked for me is Yalp Store.
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.yeriomin.yalpstore/
Yalp Store let's you download free apps from the Play Store. I've tried downloading the Play Store, Play Services, Services Framework and Login Service from Google and seeing if that works, but Framework keeps crash looping and needs to be removed via ADB, might be a login weirdness though. Go is running Android SDK 25/Android 7.1, so keep that in mind when downloading apks.
The problem with system apps and services is that we should only mess with them if we have a way to flash a firmware back on.
I would not risk a brick or mess around for hours through ADB.
The reason is quite simple:
1. The GO is not a licensed Google device, so we would need to use a hacked playstore setup to overcome the nagging unauthorised device crap.
2. The system is based more on the Amazon TV stick, which makes things a bit complicated.
3. The play services and framework need to be modified to work with a VR setup.
A simple TV version will fail as we can't really match the required specifications.
At least not without rsking access to Oculus stuff.
4. The interest for developers or rom cooks is quite limited.
Aurora app store works great on the GO (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/galaxy-playstore-alternative-t3739733) I'd also recommend installing appstarter (https://github.com/sphinx02/AppStarter/releases) and then Oculus TV appstarter launcher (https://github.com/GyroJoe/OculusTVLauncher/releases). Then you can just go to unknown apps in your main app library to launch appstarter in oculus TV (much faster than opening OTV, scrolling down, etc). All your sideloaded app will show here (all apps do, but you can hide non-VR apps to make it less cluttered). Works GREAT!
Hi AspenMan. Thanks for pointing out Aurora app Store and the appstarter.
I am trying to install the FuboTv package and cannot get through without Google Play Services if I install the apk from apkmirror. Trying to get this in Aurora App Store - but I do see FuboTV but there is no way install it. May be its a quick help will point me in right direction. I want to watch my FuboTV on Oculus Go

Amazon Appstore FireOS only apps - any work arounds?

My son has a Fire HD 8 tablet that thanks to you all, I have installed LineageOS 7.1.2 on. It runs great now, but we'd like to install an application that is only available in the Amazon App store and designed to run only on stock FireOS. I think the app would run perfectly fine on the tablet with Lineage installed, but unfortunately the Amazon App store no longer recognizes the tablet as a Fire tablet and therefore blocks our ability to download the app.
Is there some sort of workaround that could be tried here? I've read about people modifying build.prop to spoof the device type and run "unsupported" apps, so perhaps that is the route we'd take here? I'm just sort of stumped here and really don't want to go buy another fire tablet just so we can run stock fire os for his game.
The apps in question are the Osmo kids learning series. Any help would be very much appreciated.
*edit - i have searched for .apks of the app online that would allow me to manually install, but i have been unable to turn any up.

Amazon Fire 10HD 11th Gen + Google Play Store error

So after my grandchildren signed me up to Amazon Prime without my knowledge on my kindle fire, I decided to use the kindle toolbox on their brand new fire HD 10 tablets (11th generation).
I completely debloat all the Amazon software (after enabling dev options menu), install google play services, waited a minimum of 10 mins as advised before trying google play and I also installed evie launcher – all of this was done using the toolbox v27.
The problem is when I try to log my kids into their new tablets using their own gmail accounts, I keep getting the ‘something went wrong’ screen and all I can do is try again, but it keeps on failing.
I’ve tried not removing amazon software and then adding google play, but that doesn’t work.
The only thing that does work is if I login to play store using my account.
My thinking is this must be a family link / permissions thing because they’re all under 8 years old.
The really confusing thing is when I did this same thing on my kids Huawei T30 tablets, it worked fine, no problems???
So, it’s either some security setting in the fire tablet, or because these fire tablets have a newer version of android than the old and no longer working Huawei tablets (Android v6).
Anyone got any ideas how I can login my kids into their own play store on their own fire hd 10 tablets using their own google accounts, without creating child profiles and without leaving my account logged in on their tablets for them?
The only thing I can come up with is to change their d.o.b. in their google accounts, log them in, then change it back, but I suspect this won’t work long term.
I really need to understand what’s causing the problem first.
