Anyone know what this is? Or how to enable a lock screen on this watch?

Download Hidden Settings from play store. It will allow you to access most options that have been locked out.

[Q] apps not showing up in accessibility

Hey guys,
I downloaded the "light flow" and "illumination bar notifications" apps from the google play store but I am unable to enable them. Once I open the apps, a screen pops up and informs me that for all notifications to work I must first enable Accessibility for this app. However, once I go to settings>accessibility, the app is not there. Does anyone know how how to fix this? Thanks

Play protect disable option not available

I'm trying to disable Play Protect in the menu of the play store and/or in Google services menu and the option to do so isn't there. I have a 918 on 10k. Also need help disabling my own personal Hate for Google button.
I came here from a Google search. The option has disappeared on my phone too. I only switched it off a few days ago.
Now it is back on with no option to turn it off. I can only guess Google have deliberately removed the option
My phone is Doogee BL5000 if that makes any difference. Android 7.0

Same. I Googled it, and my phone and Tab s2 tablet do not have the option Google says I should have. I do not even have the option in my phone setting-google services-security to disable "verify apps". I play around with Lucky Patcher sometimes and the play store calls it a virus but now I'm getting a 504 error updating Kaspersky. Everything else updated. I feel it's related.
Why turn it off?

I also use LP and there's an option to disable play protect within LP, then again we shouldn't talk about LP on xda.
I'm getting warnings about 2 apps, the one that can not be mentioned and SELinux Switch. I don't mind Google protecting us but they should at least allow us to disable it if we are confident.
There's no option to disable Play Protect any more. If you choose to "use anyway" you are still stuck with permanent explanation notifications and a permanent warning in Play Store
I can't find any information about this even from Google themselves
Hope somebody on this site can find a fix for this

I must have found the same info as you did. Are you having any issues updating any apps? There should be no reason my anti-virus won't update right now. I did just install xposed and activate the module for the "the app that cannot be named". I'll try to uninstall it when I get a chance.

No, not that I've noticed. Apps are updating as normal as far as I can tell. I do have Magisk and I'm having issues with getting SafetyNet status. Maybe that is affecting something

Check your play store settings. It showed up finally. I turned it off.
Thanks. Found the option and turned off
No option for me to turn off. Nothing in settings. Auto updated itself today.

Mirrorlink is greyed out

Hello,
I want to use Mirrorlink on my stock S7 Edge with a 2018 vw polo, but when I go to my settings > connections > more connections > mirrorlink, the option "connect to car with USB" is greyed out..
I cannot figure out why this is greyed out or maybe change a setting to enable this.
I see 2 mirrorlink apps on the mirrorlink settings page:
CarmodeStub and Car mode.
Developer settings are on.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Try connecting phone to car usb first, maybe?
When connected to the car via usb this setting is still disabled.
Do you use any package Disabler?
No, just a stock s7 edge without any package disabler.
Or is this setting banned in the netherlands?
Because Android auto is also not allowed and not findable for me in the play store.
That could be definitely a reason. And very stupid as well. Why?
We are not allowed to use our smartphone while driving, which makes totally sense.
If i install a custom rom, would this setting be enabled?
That would void your warranty.
I would try installing oryginal software from other country, where it is not banned. I have BTU and I used to use at some point.
Plus, it does not make sense. In UK you are also not allowed using mobile whilst driving (meaning holding phone in the hands) , but that's the whole point of mirror link. To operate it using car controls.

You need another MirrorLink App. Carmode is not really a MirrorLink App.
For all Apps do this https://goo.gl/bMFjBm
If that does not work do that https://goo.gl/AyPhHN
Or try installing Android Auto.

Android auto is not available for the netherlands, cannot be found in the play store. Tried to install the apk but the latest version wont install. I installed an older version but it needed to update but that didnt work..
Why it would not install? Is there any message?
As mentioned before. The other option might be changing CSC to another country, maybe France? Germany? UK?

Settings App keeps crashing/stopping

When am accessing Settings -> Utilities -> Quick Launch, the OS is redirecting me to the main Settings page. After a couple of repeated attempts, the app altogether crashes and I get a prompt which says "Settings keeps stopping".
I'm not really sure if this is something which is OS related, or what. Has anyone else also been facing something like this? And how is it supposed to be addressed?

Is it possible to open all YouTube links via Vanced instead of default YT app?

On MIUI12 currently. Is it possible to uninstall YouTube and setup so that all YT links open via Vanced?
Similarly, all my current internet links open via Chrome even after chrome is disabled. Is it possible to setup such that all Net links open via Edge?
Did you unistalled all youtube updates?
In settings you have to choose default app

Yes. It Doesnt work. I have already setup Brave & Vanced as default, but the links still open in Chrome & YouTube app.
Why you still have youtube app, it should be replaced by vanced, so you did something wrong. Uninstall vanced and install it again.
Use vanced manager.
As for browser, you state that all links open in edge, then in chrome.
Use debloat to disable all others browsers

Reinstalled Vanced and disabled Youtube, YT links still open in Youtube app. It has something to do with Webapps I guess which allows using of apps without even installing them.

Still opening in Youtube only.
So you didn't disabled youtube.
Just use XiaomiADBfastboot tool, it's on github, but you have to install JAVA
Download jar app
And stick to instructions:
Connecting a device in ADB mode
Enable developer options in Android.
MIUI: Go to Settings > About device and tap ‘MIUI version’ seven times to enable developer options.
Android One: Go to Settings > System > About device and tap ‘Build number’ seven times to enable developer options.
Enable USB debugging in Android.
MIUI: Go to Settings > Additional settings > Developer options and enable USB debugging.
In order to use the Screen density and Screen resolution modules, enable USB debugging (Security settings) as well.
Android One: Go to Settings > System > Developer options and enable USB debugging.
Connect your device to the computer and launch the application. The device is going to ask for authorisation, which you'll have to allow.
Wait for the application to detect your device. The device info should appear in the top left section.

I know this thread is a bit old but I'm having the exact same problem if I'm signed into chrome with my Google account videos open in browser and if I sign out they open in vanced, did you manage to find a solution by any chance, than you

So what I did to fix it was make vanced default and installed as non root
Then left YouTube on the phone and I can now open Google links and watch videos on playstore. Idk it revanced has this fixed? That app seems to be premium enabled but it doesn't seem to be as prime to be as vanced
But I honestly have all 3 installed lol
For anyone that's still looking for answers to this with ReVanced.

Finally, i found a way to get it work, nothing worked for me expect this way
You need to disable personalised results in Google account search preferences
Go to google.com > three lines at the left corner > search setting > personalised result.. And disable it
