Stuck in phonecall

Hello,
I was using multiple ROMs with RADIOs 2.05 and 2.08 and everywhere was this problem - when I calling to someone and press End Call (HW or SW button), phone doesn't end calling, only button get grayed, but it is still ringing.
Please, do you know what could help? Thank you.

the only time I get this is when it connects to my in car bluetooth it never disconnects the call properly any rom!

i get that issue sometimes as well.. i found it worked ok after i made sure the in car bluetooth was automatically allowed to connect to anything it needs.. followed by a soft reset.. should only be the once though

Ok this is interesting. I had never had this problem but now I have flashed to Flashmores latest and the ROM is great and fast (and yes I did hard reset after flashing) but now I have this problem.
When I'm in a call none of the touch keys work. Cant access the keypad or anything. Really annoying.
I have to use the hard key to kill the call.
Any thoughts?
Oh and I dont have a bluetooth headset!

It's independent on Bluetooth and same problem is with hardware- and software- keys (buttons).

I have the same problem...Which ROM versions do you have? mine problems started after flashing ROMs from TMOUS...so versions 1.7 to 2.10...I will revert back to older ROMs...

I think this problem was also in stock ROM about 1.42..

Hi guys,
For those problems, I advice you to do these steps in order whenever you want to flash a ROM (stock,shipped,cooked ROM). If you want the stable ROM for daily usage... just flash the shipped ROM
-Choose Clear Storage in you current ROM.
-Take out your SD card and Format it by (FAT32)
-Connect your Device to PC and do a MTTY... You can read this for more details (do it in careful way)
-Then Flash the Shipped ROM 1.66 I suggest the 1.66.405.2 WWE.
-Do not hard reset after flash... I mean let your device through the "Customization" first then just skip all setting and Reset the device. While the device is getting reboot... Do a hard reset
-Setting up all things.

it doesn`t work I think this problem is according to radio ROM. I will flash another...

i had this problem yesterday and have fixed it
ceratin roms are only compatible with certain radios
for example yesterday i installed SONE 2.5 and i couldnt make calls, it would freeze
i looked at the ROM requirements and i was using a radio not supported by the ROM
simply change the radio respectively to the ROM

This problem, which I'm describing, is something other. RADIO patch is okay (I think), but phone is "slow" during phonecall and phonecall cannot be hanged out..

I am wanting to change my ROM to a custom one. I have a Xda Orbit 2, I have tried 2 ROMS the other day:
"Kostas244_ROM_3g_23016_FINAL_B"
"pcarvalho_eXtreme__23016_Beta_3D__ROM_3.19_Release"
They went on perfect no problem, restarted, went through the usual stuff aligning screen etc.. Everything worked... Well everything I tried worked apart from it was like the audio drivers where missing.
They was no sound when playing music, incoming call... or when i tried ringing someone I couldn't even hear anything.
I made sure the volume was up and it wasn't on silent/vibrate but still didn't work.
Can anyone help please?

Scroll down in the pcarvelho post and try the 23547 - everything on this seems to work.
Don't forget to flash the original rom, hard reset, then flash the new rom and hard reset.

Just tried it, everything works.. audio works aswell. another problem is that it will not connect to the service provider.. when i put a sim card in and turn it on it loads everything ok then i get a pop up saying "the operation failed" and just wont connect to the phone, and the touchflo doesn't work, it says "tap here to launch touchflo" but when you tap it, it doesn't do anything.

Think it´s a flash problem..
flash Orginal rom + hard reset if you see the calibration screen after that flash my rom also with a hard reset....after a complete boot a soft reset

I tried that, well...
orginal rom > hard reset
custom rom > hard reset > soft reset
It still doesn't work, I might be doing something wrong, I don't know but I have noticed that when the sound stops working and I put the phone to my ear I can here a like buzzing type sound.

I think I have sorted it now... I'm just going to test it for a while and if I notice any faults I will try your ROM. But to get it sorted I....
Flashed with original ROM > Hard Reset
Flashed with "my rom 23529 with EzInput 2.1" > Hard Reset > Soft Reset
Flashed with "pcarvalho eXtreme (23547 Beta non3D) ROM 3.19 Release" > Hard Reset
And now its running smooth for now. I will report back to this thread in a few days after I have had a play around.

My problems back. Not as bad though. I have noticed everything ok apart from when I call someone it works perfect, then when I hang up the audio stops working and i get a buzzing sound from the front speaker.

Problem with mobile data connection

Hey guys,
Need a little help, my problem started yesterday. I`ve dawnloader to try "TyTung`s NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta10" rom. I flashed it, noticed that there are too many bugs and went back on my last rom- "NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.2a 2.3.7", also by TyTung, and after that I noticed a problem. When I`m on data connection and I try to login with browser to any website, browser just stops loading the website. For exaple, I tried to login to gmail, and I made screenshot for you what happened (attachment).
Tried to download new browser - didn`t help.
Tried reflash ROM - didn`t help.
Can anyone suggest me what to do?
Another thing I noticed after reflashing rom, that I can`t turn on or turn off my data connection by using "Power control" widget, it says "it`s only way to turn it on by going settings, wireless and networks...". I was able to do it before flashing. Is it related with my problem?

On dorimax rom it worked fine but I had battery problems so i backed to tytung's gingerbread and login problem back! I still need your help guys, suggest me any solution please

You could try my rom ;D so far I have got the best data connection out of it over any other rom. (And I've tried several.)
But I think your specific problem is not doing a task 29 before you flash.

I did task29, but it was useless, problem still left

RADIO.APP - why is freezing ?

My radio.app has started to freeze recently by it self. When tapped icon for radio radio app opens but all commands are frozen and there is no sound. It just freezes completely.
Has anyone have been experiencing this issue and what is solution to this ?
It happens after installing update firmware and when engine is shut down first time and then rapidly key is turned in ignition/contact (radio app freezes and remains that way untill new install). I tried many solutions, replacing firmwares etc. but nothing. Only thing that corrects this issue is to reinstall system again , but settings and radio stations are lost and must be configured again with all apps aswell.
Please can anyone help and provide solution for this issue ?

Solved: How to downgrade TS18 firmware from 2.2 to 1.1?

I finally solved it, so in case anyone else has the same issue, here it goes.
Hi. If you still cannot downgrade, I have a solution that worked for me.
Look on the head unit harness for a cable that is marked Key 1.
With the radio off, put a flash drive with your update file in the required folder. Connect that Key 1 cable to ground in your car, turn on your radio and reset your radio (mine has a reset pinhole). When the radio restarts, it will force flash the firmware. After flashing, remove the ground connection and the flash drive.

So, against my better judgement, I decided to update my TS18.1.1 head unit to TS18.2.2 firmware by modifying the file names, which worked, and almost everything worked properly, but now whenever I start listening to radio stations, a different music app like Pandora will start on it's own playing music. I have reset and reinstalled everything like four times already and have not found a solution so I guess my only option is to go back to T18.1.1 firmware.
The problem is that after renaming TS18.1.1 software and trying to install, the head unit reboots, starts installation and stops. The radio reboots and the firmware is not installed.
The 2.2 firmware is from February 2023 and the 1.1 is from December 2022. Maybe this is why I can't roll back.
So my question is, is there any way of forcing the older firmware into the radio? Or will I have to wait inter a newer 1.1 firmware, if it's ever released to go back?

Hi, if you have root access and seeing all folders on mounted device disk, delete folder named "cache" if you have it. then restart and see if helps, and try to update system again with ver. 2

Thanks for the suggestion but I do not have root. Still, I did find the solution.
