BNN is the correct region, it's USA for the nook models
Also when rooting your tab 4, please use the following root method, as it's safe, proven over again to be effective across multiple models (including yours) and doesn't have the same privacy or security concerns that comes with using king root:

Hello, just a Quick Q: will I trip Knox if I will install this FW as I forgot all about installing fw on samsung phones? I will want to install through Odin and my Phone fw/csc is on build G930FXXS1BPJ1/G930FXU1BPHJ currently .

Don't try on SM-G930W8, a bit of difference even though GSM devices. I guess T-Mobile's FW are flashable on W8 but no guarantee.

We're talking G930F only here. It's not available for the G930FD yet. Confirm if G930F FW can be flashed on FD too, and then try flashing.

I wanted to ask something maybe foolish but I read on another kind of duplicate thread that there is UK version for 930f and an CH version if I'm right... I suppose this is the UK one no ? and if I want to revert to the previous fw I just have to flash to old fw and thats it or I can't revert from Nougat as it was on some old android version ?
Thank you in advance.

New Odin was leaked! New guide is here.
New Oreo build for Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) is live! G955FXXU1CRB7/G955FOXM1CRAP/G955FXXU1CRAP
Download: https://mega.nz/#F!7wo3nJID!2BPhlHlXVLNOzoxF8Cwbcw (OXM multi-CSC FW)
How to install:
Download Odin
Extract Firmware ZIP, open Odin and load BL, AP, CP and CSC packages.
Put the phone into Download mode, connect it to PC and press Start.
This FW contains both, CSC and HOME_CSC packages. CSC will repartition your device and wipe all your data, HOME_CSC allows you to keep your data.
Troubleshooting:
Odin says "Fail!":
Make sure you have correct drivers installed, try using different cable or computer.
Storage shows only 16GB after the update:
Try doing factory reset or flash CSC instead of HOME_CSC to repartition the device.
This does NOT trip KNOX!
Or if you don't want to wait, I have created a bash script, which repacks the firmware for you:
GitHub: https://github.com/kernel-killer/sam-fw-tool
All you need to do is drop the script (repack.sh) to folder containing the firmware, open console and execute:
Code:
cd firmware/location && ./repack.sh
You might also need to fetch some prerequisites before running the script:
Code:
sudo apt-get install tar unzip liblz4-tool coreutils
The script is for bash on Linux but can be also run on Ubuntu on Windows 10 (Windows Subsystem for Linux) or Cygwin.

Thank you. Will wait until you get these files decompressed and uploaded - Thanks!

Hi, is the firmware modified to work with Odin? If so, can it be flashed using OFFICIAL Odin? And are those packages properly checksummed? Thanks.
Already on CRAP. Any chance we will be able to flash CRB7 via SD?
S8+
Yes it can be flashed with Odin and it checksummed. Original official firmware.

Thanks for the upload - about to flash it now.
What country/region is this firmware based on?
Pardon my potentially silly question - could I flash an XSA CSC file to make this more of an "Australian" release (for example HOME_CSC_XSA_G955FXSA1AQFE_CL11665648_QB13965623_REV00_user_low_ship.tar)

The firmware contains OXM multi-CSC, it does not matter which region it was meant for (but it was DBT) because all regions included in OXM receive identical firmware.
Generally, it is not recommended to mix parts of different firmwares and because G955FXSA1AQFE was CSC for Nougat, it cannot be guaranteed, that it will work, however, if it worked with CRAP, it should work with CRB7, too.

WHAT new Odin is this? Prince Comsy's? Official?
WHAT FW-files are those: original, modified? LZ4-files?
If I am on CRAP can we flash via SD?
New odin doesn't work on windows 10
Also this new ODIN can not deal with the LZ4 files in the new firmwares yet, pity. I thought with this new ODIN version, it would now be possible without detours flashing the new firmwares from Samsung.

Is it convinient to re-flash if I had previous 8.0 stock? Which are the changes?
Installed too, thank you! (windows 10 and i tick update bootloader in odin options)
Just got the latest update for my G955FD XME (Malaysia)
I think I know the answer to this but will check just the same. When I flashed the original CRAP OREO via Odin, I ended up in Jail and had to wait 7 days before OEM unlock came back. If I decided to flash this new firmware, will it lock me out again for another 7 days? I am guessing that it will but thought I would check. to see if anyone knows for sure.
Installed with win 10 all ok i used the home csc is that ok for the uk

I have an Sprint Samsung S8. I want to update to Android Pie 9. Its currently on Android 8.0.0 - R16NW.G950USQU5CSA4. And I want to flash with Odin to any compatible Android Pie FW. I am personally not looking to unlock or anything. The confusing part is that when I research the FW version (G950USQU5CSA4) it comes as a Verizon FW. So I am not sure if is safe to flash any of the Pie FW available on sammobile for Sprint.
It is safe to flash for example to one like G950USQU5DSD3 that appears in Sammobile and is for Sprint?

Flashed AP, BL, CP, CSC (not CSC_HOME) on its respective place on Odin. 5m 32s later it was updated with no trouble.

Last question, I am personally not interested. Just curious. As long as is the same android version, would it be possible to downgrade too by flashing with Odin and earlier version? or would something like that cause a brick?
