BNN is the correct region, it's USA for the nook models
Also when rooting your tab 4, please use the following root method, as it's safe, proven over again to be effective across multiple models (including yours) and doesn't have the same privacy or security concerns that comes with using king root:

Since you are already on a custom recovery and ROM, rooted I assume. I would download this app, and flash the latest Philz Recovery, CWM, or TWRP with it. Then you should have no problem flashing a KitKat ROM. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=en
How did you tried to install KitKat? Kies? Custom recovery? On tyhe tablet itself?

Untouched Lollipop Firmware (androidfilehost.com)

Some people have requested other download links to get their firmware from other places than sammobile.com. I have to agree with them, when I downloaded from there it was a$$ slow and they make you pay for a quicker download speed....which is a HORRIBLE model for the android community. Others also couldn't download from sammobile directly on their device. Therefore, I have started to download certain firmware and upload to Android file host.
Here is what I have compiled so far:
SM-N910T - N910TUVU1COD6
SM-N910W8 - N910W8VLU1BOC4
SM-N910R4 - N910R4TYU1BOC4
I used this method to install:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2903733
Is there any other firmware you would like? Let me know and I will add it to the collection.
I am not responsible for any damage, flash at your own risk.

No. Those are base firmware tar files. Flash via Odin 3.09 or newer. Both CF Auto Root and TWRP are flashed in the same manner.

Yes you can. If you update via Odin, you can then also use CF autoroot to root and install TWRP. I will post a link to what I have used to do this. I am using COD6 rooted with TWRP 2.8.6.0

I was wondering what other firmwares can be flashed to a Tmobile Note 4? Is it dependent on what other regions have the Qualcomm processor in the Note 4? I'd love to try something other than the Tmo firmware.
Thank you good sir!

I just happened to see your unanswered question - didn't know if you were still looking for an answer - unfortunately you cannot flash firmware from another phone on your phone using ODIN without bricking your device. you can flash the new Firmware for your phone and follow steps offered in the various XDA threads to install roms that are based on different variants - for example - if you are on TMOBILE Note 4 - once you have rooted - you can flash a Rom from the International version of the NOTE 4 - there is another file you have to flash to fix certain problems - but it can be done. you probably should do a google search to find all of the specifics - good luck - hope I helped you.

Thanks, it makes sense. I got a little confused for a minute because I can flash any country's firmware on my Tab S, but it's the WiFi - only version. Now I remember about installing international ROMs on the Note, system only. Thanks buddy [emoji106]

Questions about Blissbop

Alright so I am a newbie with this stuff so that's why I don't understand these simple things.
- I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" (SM-T530NU) through odin, was the bootloader unlocked in the process to make it possible or did it not require the unlocking of the bootloader. OR was it unlocked from the start perhaps?
- (Blisspop) It says that I have to unlock my bootloader, based on the answer to the question above | how can I unlock it OR am I fine and I can download it? |

Use this gapps, I personally prefer nano but any variant should work. The download takes a while since the server is based in Germany and we're not in Germany (I'm assuming you're not in Germany since you have the T530NU, a North American model)

No developments for the T237P.
I have the T230NU but returning it since the T237P has OTG support (and there is an OTA 5.1.1). The 7" Galaxy Tab 4 fits perfect in my vehicle without any mods to my dash. I will share the pictures.

Not disagreeing with you but there's even less development for the SM-T337A, not that you would be able to use its firmware on the SM-T237P. There is a deodexed, rooted, knox-free stock 5.1.1 rom available for the SM-T237P: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/sm-t237p-stock-rooted-deodexed-4-4-2-t3095711
At least theoretically if you have deodexed you can install xposed and use any number of xposed mods

Thanks, but that is not an actual deodexed firmware, it's missing the entire system folder so no system apps, priv-apps, framework. Also, what do you think of this, does it mean that the we can flash a T335 ROM on the T237P? http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/root-sm-t237p-t2849224/page2
I want to first receive the T237P, see what firmware is on it, if 4.4.2 and a 5.1.1 is available OTA then I can try to copy the firmware from the logcat and see if I can do anything to it like a full deodex.
Thanks again.

No. I guarantee you cannot flash a t335 rom on a t237p. No 8.0 inch rom will work on a 7.0 inch model. Cfautoroot just messes around in the recovery partition, that's much different than an entire rom

Sorry to bring up an old thread but i have a similar question and didn't want to start new thread. I am using my tablet for wifi only, would it be possible to use a rom from wifi only models? I have T237P also. I have flashed Philz, root, and xposed is working but i would like to upgrade to nougat at least. If not I will probably sell this thing and go get the Tab A (although I didn't see a 7inch model with more than 8gb storage)

How do i upgrade from 5.1.1 to 6?

Hey guys,
Rooted phone with TWRP and Xposed.
Purchased in USA (amazon)
About Phone: http://pasteboard.co/Khp5Wg2.png
There are so many threads in DEV (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/development), sadly I'm not sure which one i should be referring to - Could i please be referred to the correct one?
Also:
AFAIF all i need to do is download the correct file, boot to TWRP and flash the file, that's what i did with my Nexus 5 - is the process still the same? will i need to re-install things like SuperSU/TWRP/Xposed?
if updating the stock via flashing deletes information on the device, is it possible do bypass this and do it in a different way? such as somehow re-enabling OTA?
thank you!

Hey,
thanks for the quick asnwer, there are 4 files for 6.0 there, since i have a single sim card and i got my device in US can i assume this is the right link:
For LA SingleSIM users: XT1572_CLARK_RETLA_6.0_MPH24.49-18_cid12_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Or is there a way to tell from inside the device if i have the LA or EU version?

If I was you. I would download the 5.1.1 stock Twrp backup, flash that. Then fastboot flash the 5.1.1 recovery. After rebooting you should get the two updates. Then re-root after the two OTA updates. By taking the OTA's, I believe your getting some binaries you can't get from the firmwares (rpm.bin, etc).
Or... Just download the last twrp 6.0 backup and flash that. You won't have to worry about recovery then.
