Is there any way to bring the brightness slider in the quicksetting panel? Maybe using root?

We have to pull down the status bar twice to access the slider. Any method to get the slider with single pull down?(not using 2 fingers)
Mine disappeared at some point and can't find where to possibly re-enable it. Any ideas?

I'd like to know if this is possible too.
Set Orientation https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.googlecode.eyesfree.setorientation
Pull down the notification bar and press the screen with spinning arrows icon, it will change to a padlock once it's pressed.
I have my DPI set to 160 which puts it in tablet mode, and still the lockscreen is only in portrait. I don't want an app that locks the orientation because I'm still about 50/50 on using portrait and landscape.

The Set Orientation app lets you set it to auto, the lockscreen will rotate with the tablet.
This does work. However I use widgetsoid in the notifications drawer, and with screen krien. enabled, I can't adjust brightness. Just and fyi, but figured someone else must use this combo as well. The screen orien. also makes some apps tough to use in landscape, such as songza.

if you have root, add this to your build.prop file in /system/build.prop/ and reboot.. launcher.force_enable_rotation=true

You could also flash a ROM like Paranoid Android which gives you control over what interface each app uses like phone, phablet, and tablet. This is probably not the solution you were looking for, but you did say any way to make the lock screen rotatable.

Working great, thanks. Is there a way to hide the icon in the notification bar?

Thanks for the info, but after some days I have uninstalled the app as it has been the reason for short screen-freezes every x seconds which was kind of annoying.
CM10 supports lock screen rotation.

Ultimate Rotation Control.
I use Ultimate Rotation Control. It rotates everything, including the lockscreen, & has different settings.
Hello,
I hate all this buttons and sliders in the notification panel. Do you know if there is a way to get rid off the quick settings bar, the QSlide Apps, and the sliders for volume and luminosity ?
Because with all that, less than half of the screen remains for the notifications ....
Thanks for your help
Qslide yes. Brightness and volume no... Correct me if I'm wrong

Whenever I turn on my screen, there's a Location Found notification appearing on my lockscreen. Any clue how I can disable that?

Is the location switch in the drop done menu on /
if yes, then turn it off and the issue should stop.
If no, then you need to find which app is asking for a location fix. It could be weather app.

Definitely want to keep location settings on. Curious how I could tell what app is prompting the notification though.

what apps do you have that rely on location ?
try disabling one by one till the notification does not appear.
Do you have a partner as I use this to see where my wife is using the android built in app, and when I do this comes up on her phone, so maybe someone is checking up on you?

I'm on Stock Nougat, rooted using Magisk.
Now that one's easy. This icon means that the rotation lock is activated.

Running a lineage os rom with root. Looking for a way to automatically hide the nav bar only when the keyboard is open. I was unable to find any automatic solutions, just things that put the whole device into immersive mode.

That is very specific lol I don't think I've ever seen something that can do this, I hope I'm wrong because it sounds cool but how would you put the keyboard away?

I was hoping to find something that just hid the nav bar while it was active. So I can then swipe up from the bottom to bring it back. So basically enable immersive mode for nav bar only when keyboard is active.
