Trouble to enable camera2api in android pie(082) - Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Questions & Answers

please help me
I have already bootloader unlocked and rooted my zb602kl with android pie 082 version.
I tried camera2api enabler, fastboot command, and build.prop editting.
I checked with camera2 probe app, but its status is still legacy.
Is there anyway to enable camera2api in pie version 082?
If not, should I roll back to oreo firmware?

solved!!
build.prop item is changed in my firmware version.
persist.camera.hal3.enable doesn't work now.

Received an update for the Nougat, haven't installed it, anyways it's gonna fail as i am rooted.
I would need steps to update to Latest Nougat.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance
FYI : my device is MOTO G4 Plus dual sim 64 GB Indian version
You can completely un-root the systemless install via SU app.
Or go back to full stock via fastboot:

How to Downgrade to android oreo from stable pie

I am currently in stable pie. I updated to pie via official OTA update. My bootloader is also locked. But now I'm not satisfied with pie and want to revert back into oreo.
So can anyone suggest a method of doing that?
Sorry for this, but what issues are you facing with Pie?

Fixing Widevine state

Widevine is currently L3, but I need it L1.
Oneplus 8 Pro IN2020, 11.0.4.4.IN11BA
Radioactive kernel 2.1.4
Magisk 22.0, manager is already hidden, reboot done. Widevine is still L3.
What am I missing?
Maybe something in this recent thread:

Thanks man. I did a little read-up on the issue and it looks like a mess. There is basically no straightforward way to fix the DRM level. I've tried deleting data/cache, reinstalling Netflix, whatever possible solutions I found and they didn't work.
That method with rolling back to Android 10 could possibly work, but I'm not going that route. It's too much to do to fix a little issue, and even then it's not guaranteed to work.
It may be easier than you think. I'm on an Op8T 5G but the devices are similar. Install HideProps in Magisk https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...safetynet-prop-edits-and-more-v5-4-0.3789228/ then from a terminal emulator (like Termux) type (separate lines are semicolons: su; props; then go through the list of approved uploaded fingerprints and select an EU one for your same device. Then reboot. Worked on my Op8T when my Widevine dropped to L3 after a BL unlock. Right back to L1 after. Good luck!
Use Magisk Hide Props config direct link here install in Magisk: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachments/magiskhidepropsconf-v5-4-0-zip.5189681/

I've had a fingerprint installed for EU firmware, but it still doesn't help. I pass SafetyNet, but Widevine is always L3. I'm starting to think this has something to do with the fact that I flashed EU firmware onto Chinese (IN2020) phone, in order to get faster updates, than for International firmware. Anyways, I think I can live without Netflix
Hi Everyone -- I have had a OP8 Pro rooted for a long time on L1, and just noticed it got changed to Widevine CDM System ID 8159 and L3 with the latest OTA updated. I am familiar with props config and tried switching to EU firmware all to no avail -- nothing changes.
Since the OP8 Pro are so cheap now, I bought a new one and will just use the MSM tool to flash this back to it's original state, and give it to the wife / sell it etc.
The magic question is this -- OnePlus said this only happened with some devices -- so if I unlock and root the new one is it going to go to L3, or does no-one have any idea?
BTW -- I contacted support and they said I could either send it in now for a flash, or wait for an update that will fix the issue?
No-one seems to know what the root cause is.
Also, I guess a new update is coming out any day for IN2025...? Maybe that will fix it?
Thanks for any info
MW.
I should say that the latest update (11.0.5.5) has changed Widevine to L1. OnePlus fixed it without my intervention!

I booted into EDL mode and flashed 11.0.4.4 EU firmware via MSM tool. This essentially overwrites any previous software on your phone.
After flashing, you need to unlock bootloader again via developer settings. And also update to 11.0.7.7 via OTA. Most likely, the DRM-level will be fixed after all these manipulations.

also did you open bootloader right after 4.4 or update it via ota, and then unlock?

Samsung T580 downgrade android Q to nougat or pie?

Hello, my tablet was a UK version with Chinese firmware (latest 2021) I tried to return it to BTU without suceess. It wouldn't let me flash other firmware after this except TWRP somehow but with a special app that unlocked the bootloader option.
The only Rom it would accept after flashing twrp was lineage 18.1 (I wanted arm64).
Now I have a bunch of apps that don't work with lineage 18.1 (boat beacon and AIS apps) and I would like to go back to a nougat, oreo or pie firmware.
I know there are some restrictions with sofware rev check etcetera when trying to downgrade from a later modem.
Is there a way round it??
Thanks in advance
