Hello
Greetings to all
I have a problem with cell signal
My device is one plus 7t pro mclaren (4g) same as oneplus 7t pro
The problem is with it only .. I have another device with the same operator that does not have the same problem (note 10 plus) 4g
This problem was not present when I bought the device ... but now it is
I am currently researching the root causes of this problem and I expect it may be related to the modem
So I have a question?
What is your baseband version ?
My is global HD1913 10.0.9.HD01AA:
baseband is :
MPSS.HE.1.0.C11.1-00007-SM8150_GEN_PACK-2.275114.1.285971.2

You tell us you have a problem but you didn't specify what kind of problem... You have poor signal or nothing at all? You already flashed anything or is pure stock device?

I come to you for a problem on a false s5 galaxy.
I bought 2 gsm s5 false in the street I do not know ...
My configuration: the model as: gt-i9600, android 4.4.2, baseband version of i9600xxuamde, kernel number 3.4.5build JDQ39.i9600ZSUAMDF and build custom version of galaxy.20140424.a9fm.v019.
My problem is the following, the functions GPS WIFI ... are ok but when I want to make a call or I receive a call the mobile phone reboot directly.
I've already done a hard reset but still the same problem.
For the same problem when the 3g data connection is open gsm reboot without stop loop.
I can not find a custom rom for my model ...
Can you help me please??

That would be because developers buy the real official phones and not these fake ones. You will not find custom ROM's for fakes on XDA for this reason.

There won't be a custom rom for a chinese copy, they don't have sources available or anything to work with.
Maybe the phone is defective? If it's not rooted then it's quite difficult to diagnose the source of the reboot (last_kmsg would help).
What country did you get these in?
So aliens have landed on xda.
Hi all,
I have bought a Redmi 3s Prime last week. One problem I am facing is that if you turn on data services, if it is idling, speed drops to E and even G. The only way to get it back is to manually change network preference type from settings. What could be the problem? Is it a hardware issue?
Android version 6.0.1
MIUI version 8.2.5.0 (MALMIDL)
Please help.

This is a known issue.
Is you have root, try to install Networl Signal Guru, then disable Edge (2g) frequencies.
Some people solve it using a second sim...
Second SIM even if dummy one will solve this problem, I'm using this option and managing my 32GB wisely as you will lose your sdcard slot. Nothing terrible for me as I need it the 2nd SIM anyways.
slds,
Your problem is well known, but still no solution from xiaomi.
Best i can suggest is that u check which frequencies your carrier uses.
If u got root, install Network Signal Guru.
Try disabling one of used WCDMA frequencies and then force 3G. if it doesnt work, try to disable the other frequencies
IT WORKED FOR ME D

Switch to global dev rom you will get the latest one. Miui 9 v 7.9.8
Better you make clean install with MiFlashTool via EDL.
Search fastboot rom here.

I have a x727 and there are many x720 roms. Can I install it without problems? The devices are almost the same ....
Depends on the ROM. Omni, AICP, Lineage, and RR all work on x727. MIUI I think tends to have some issues on x727 and EUI 5.9 (x720 stock ROMs) have no WiFi calling for T-Mobile US but aside from that work.
EDIT: Don't flash the JUI ROM on x727 that messes up a lot of stuff.

It has issues even if you change the modem firmware to the correct one after flashing the rom? EUI has problems only with T-Mobile? I live in Brazil so no problem for me.. Maybe you didn't put the right modem...
Lucky that I asked this cause I'm planning to buy a Le Pro 3 but sadly the x720 is out of stock
MIUI is my main concern.. what issues specifically it has? Thanks!

Phone fails to pass security check because it cannot detect an IMEI for Sim slot 2 (which the x727 doesn't have.) You'll be nagged almost every minute or so by an annoying pop up.

Ah ok.. so I won't mess with x720 roms.. That security check I don't know how to bypass.. :crying:
Maybe a single file change would do the trick?

You might be able to pass it if you set persist.radio.multisim.config=NA from persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds via Build.prop edit.

Yeaaaah.. I've seen this in some ROM post... It could be mandatory to have in any ROM post IMHO.. So making this change in build.prop any x720 rom may fit in x727
How do I proceed? Do I install the rom and BEFORE it reboots the first time I edit the build.prop in TWRP?? Or I boot the first time and configure the rom (probably without signals) ??
hi guys.! I am from Greece and my z2 pro start the blue screen problem. I read that this phone works better with Chinese rom and problems like mine were resolved. Now my phone has 3 days which works fine. It runs lollipop android (K920_S271_150907_ROW), it is rooted using DragonVibe a8 kernel (unlocked bootloader) and it has xposed firmware too. My question is: Is it possible to FLASH official Chinese rom to ROW version of device? If yes then will i have to do some changes to make it work to my network? I read something about changing the modem to port the Chinese rom and by dialing *#*#5920#*#* to make it work with global network. :silly:

You have to use proper radio (modem) CN or ROW for device to have network.
hello, I have a problem with my Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Once I wanted to unlock the LTE 800 band, unfortunately it failed. And now I have a problem because the phone does not log in at all and does not find any of the LTE network. I did something wrong in NV Ram. How to fix it now? Reinstalling the kernel will help?
No. That is not part of the kernel. You need to get those settingsthat were changed reversed... This is my opinion...

Fastboot flash an official Xiaomi rom.
That is SOP to restore a messed up phone to more or less original condition.
The original is a scorpio rom?

Yes, which one you want to use depends on what version phone you have and what you want to do afterwards.
here are the Global ones:
https://en.miui.com/a-234.html
And here are the Chinese ones:
http://www.miui.com/shuaji-393.html
unfortunately it did not help. still does not search for LTE networks.

Sorry, I have no more good ideas.
You should try some different simcards, from various operators, of course.
