What is most friendly kernel, games are not my priority so underclocked/undervolted kernel is a right choice for me.
Clemsyn's Elite BATTERY SAVING kernel looks good but at this moment available only for 4.1.2
What are your suggestions ?

Why THUNDER_MiUi8-6.8.18?
can I flash the latest ones (THUNDER_MiUi8-6.8.4)
-----------------------------------------------
And wait.. I saw you write these on the MIUI rom

A lot of thanks for you Dev,...
I always prefer your ROM on my device, especialy for the MIUI 7 version, it's bugless, good battery stat, nice performance, almost fix everything.
But sadly I must say not each time I flash the MIUI 8 builds, may be it's because the source itself, battery drains, and laggy,.
Even several days ago there was an update, I don't really sure if that really stable, but will you soon make an update based on that builds,..
Keep up Devs, waiting for your next update!!

For Pokémon GO:
Use a MIUI8 KK version + Jerrika MK Premier Finale (more RAM friendly. Lollipop ROMs are heavy to 1GB RAM)
A tip: Download GLTools XDA Version, and force on Pokémon GO these options:
- Optimize GSGL shaders
- Downscale textures (0,5x)
It reduces the RAM consumption a lot without much quality difference.
PS: Dont force 16 bit textures (it breaks the detailed vision of Pokémon and dont show CP).
Hy,i have little problems with battery drain. Like 3h SoT on Kangvip B564. I want to know what's the best rom for battery. Not only Marshmallow or Lollipop. The version too like B170/B564. After this please recommend me things to do to get more SoT. Thanks!

Use smartmax mode on esal kernal. Also in battery manager use smart saving mode. I have noticed that on performance mode doze doesn't kicks in while phone screen is off. Also it drains battery. Use 2G if you are not using data.
I'm currently using Zenfone 5 and I would like to know which ROM is the best for if it comes to battery life and stability (no app crashes)? and what should I do to have dt2w on older ROM?
On 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix and 7.1.x LineageOS the battery is very weak.
> 5.0.2 CyanogenMod 12.0 maybe? or some original ROM (KK/L?)
Yes. Stock based roms will do well for these. Borets ROM recommended as it is updated and the developer is on the forums. But why did you open up a new thread for this?
i made this topic because i wanted to know specifics - which ROM is currently the best considering battery life and no app crashes.
You said that original rom should do but which one exactly? And what about "Double tap to wake" ?
Every developer kept his own rom - the truth is that zenfone is totally useless on every nougat rom. I have to charge my phone 2 or 3 times a day. (Greenify etc does nothing really).

Most ROMs have dt2w except for a few stock based ones. I did recommend Borets ROM

Yeah ..switch to some other phone which has a good battey life .
Where greenify works and does something beneficial .
I suggest redmi note 4 or one plus or may be pixel will be a good choice ..thank you have a nice day /night
Buy a new phone and you don't need to worry about your battery life. *double tap to wake also there*

You must do reboot recovery after wipe everything then flash rom and etc
Try zenodex ROM, it is based on stock KK.
All features can work well
Is it possible that the old rom is not compatible with latest TWRP ?
5.0 stock based ROM, Intalled greenify, L speed, power nap, Amplify, AppOpsXposed, Calibration (Intel Deep Sleep Mode) and my battery still sucks... any ideas?

AOSP Extented. Last version.
With original kernel. No need to adjust the kernel. Play out of the box PUBG with it and you will see what i mean.

Yes.
I like blavkscreen kernel, but with it i had lags in PUBG, so i flashed the original kernel from the rom, and it runs perfect.
And the batterie last longer.
Try it, it's esay to change.
