Has anyone encountered annoying little bugs on OOS like for example my media volume sometimes is on mute even though I left it on half way and it resets to mute. And I know in OOS when you hold the screen it keeps it on but when I place it on the table I expect it to time out (set to 15 sec) but it didn't it stayed on but again it doesn't happen all the time.
Maybe it's a setting I can tweak or it could be an app. Getting my way round OOS again since the 6T.

Hi all,
Kind of a strange issue I'm noticing with my Nexus 4. The phone seems to, by default, have a screen turn-off time setting of "after 15 seconds of inactivity" for the display options. I tend to like to have my screen stay on a little longer especially if I'm in the middle of a conversation or I'm watching something and my attention gets diverted momentarily. 15 seconds is just way too short. So I change it to a larger value, like 2 minutes for example, and the setting keeps, for a while. But every so often it will start turning off quickly again and when I check, sure enough it has reverted back to 15 seconds. I'm not sure what's causing this... an app? An errant setting with the phone? Weird bug that has yet to be fixed? Rebooting the phone does not seem to solve the issue, nor has anything else I've tried to this point.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
What kind of bugs you have on stock Sense 6 and some fixes if someone has one.
So far after 1 day of ussage i noticed some bugs:
1.Sound is mutted if you move the phone when it ring.
2.If u try to pull down the notification for a mesage/missed call the weather in lockscreen is expanding and u cannot acces via "drag and open".
3.The volume is increasing randomly.
If you have spotted any othe bugs feel free to ad to list .
agree with point 1 and 3, and I found that the pressing of back button during incoming call will mute sound and vibrate, I think it is a bug rather then a "feature". Very annoying!
I was actually going to start a similar thread so thanks for getting the ball rolling.
I haven't noticed any of the issues you listed. My issues are primarily GUI related.
1) in top portion of the caller ID and call log windows, the contact's image is covered up by the Tab swipe views control.
2) the spacing between the icons and the dock are messed up on the home screen
3) dock visible on the blinkfeed page
I have somewhat remedied these issues using xposed and the Sense 6 toolkit but it's still not quite right.
EDIT> This isn't a bug per say but it is very annoying. Every time I make a call through my car's bluetooth my phone now prompts me to choose an output device (handset, speakerphone, or car bluetooth). It defaults it to handset speakers so I have to select car bluetooth which is annoying because I'm trying to operate hands-free. The worst part is that it asks the question every time and doesn't remember my last preference.

1 - This is not a bug, if you look there is a sound option that is on by default - Quiet Ring On Pickup

I think most likely it is cause by mis-pressing of back button during ringing. finally I have to disable the hardware button and turn on the softly in order to prevent this issue. hope can improve in next update....
1 i not have that bug, use full reset include delete photos, music, than if you not rooted wipe cache.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Another one I noticed is that extreme power saving mode doesn't work.
In fact it loses more power in that mode than usual.
Every time i received or i send a message, there's always a triangle with an exclamation point in the middle appearing in the status bar for maybe 0.5 millisecond. I can live with it but it's a little annoying sometimes
Second is that the rotation from landscape to portrait sometimes are not smooth, it lags for some millisecond before it reaches it's full rotation..
Battery is worse than sense 5.5

+1 to this.
Also, the dialer sucks. There's a lag while opening it which was almost instant in previous versions.
In Music app While Scrolling to album art to Visualization for a moment music offs and app freezes
I've had this problem since since the beginning; both on OxygenOS 2.1.1, and 2.1.2 – sometimes, when I click the power button to turn the screen off, and put the phone on a desk, or into my pocket, after a few seconds the phone wakes up by itself suddenly, and most often shows the list of recent apps.
It's only a minor annoyance when it happens after putting the phone on a desk, but it can be a bit more serious when this happens in a pocket. For example, a couple of days ago, I was riding a bike, when suddenly, the phone started skipping through music, and doing who knows what else. (I know it tapped around a bunch in a number of different apps that one time.) Certainly a lot of potential for butt-dials.
At first I thought it was an issue with the DT2W implementation being overly sensitive, so I disabled it, but the problem persisted. Anyone else experiencing this, and perhaps any solutions?
Anyone else having any glitches, lag, strange behavior, etc. I don't know if it's just me but my s6e+ seemed to run a little smoother on LP than new s7e on MM.
issues I have with mine:
After reboot the keypad for entering pin has input lag and sometimes erases
The notification bar will open blank when I have notification and then close and re open with notifications, sometimes it will open and phone will freeze for 3-4 seconds
If I am listening to music over Bluetooth in my car and I compose a text message and attach a picture, it cuts off my music and I have to press play again.
Hopefully we get another OTA soon that fixes some of this. Anybody else having issues?
keypad lag after reboot might had to do with system still loading; if i immediately enter pin after reboot, it lags like no tomorrow, but if i let it sit for a minute or so, everything is smoother, but still not as smooth as normal
notification bar issue happened to me once, but thats after an app crashed; it went away after i force closed the misbehaving app from usage manager
it also randomly cut off my music, but i even have it happened when my screen is off, but only on wired headset, never on my BT headphone
It doesn't like my left thumbprint only my right even though I've redone it once already.
Sometimes if I am trying to type it randomly goes to the lockscreen and I have to unlock my device again.
I can test the bluetooth MMS issue (if I remember) later.
Also the Do Not Disturb settings do not work whatsoever, I have to manually turn it on and off from the quick settings bar.
I almost wish I'd waited for the G5 to drop this week...
The g5 doesn't really appeal to me, now the m10 is looking nice but I'm overall satisfied for now. I think/hope after the next ota all the bugs are worked out. I really should've held on to s6e+ until note 6 but the sd card and water resistance got me lol

Does anyone else have very frequent pauses (0.5 to 3 seconds or more), where the screen and haptic response stops, then when it recovers it processes all the touches which happened when it was paused? I'm getting it a lot (pretty much within 10 seconds each time I turn on the screen, then every so often with use).
Do I have some bad bit of hardware in there causing it to stall or is this just the CPU not keeping up?
I have seen it lag a bit once in while, but nothing quite that often. Could be a software issue... I would try to reboot into safe mode first and see if the problem recurs, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. :/
