Hello there,
I recently rooted my device using twrp method flashing magisk and decrypt.zip .
After rebooting I find out that screen rotation only works in one direction , even after turning screen rotation ON/OFF it works in one direction only , and gyro scope is also not working .
Any idea how to fix this issue .

Hi all,
I have had my Vega for two weeks now and my G-Sensor has stopped working. I am currently running Fuji-Vega Modded Rom based on Modaco Rom v0.7.
I have put back the original rom back on from the Vega website Version 1.10 but the G-Sensor still done not work.
How can I check if there is a problem with the hardware before I take to back PC World/Currys.

I also have the same problem, the gsensor stoped working. No screen rotation and also the games doesn`t works.
I have Corvus5 with SP1.
Someone have the same problem? how can i fix it?

Have you tried a reboot. I have had this a couple of times and a reboot has fixed it
yes, I also wipe and reinstall corvus5 and corvus5sp1 and the accelerometer doesn`t work

try to move the switch on top of the tablet...
Ok thanks a lot. The problem was that switch, i think that switch is to lock the buttons not to lock the gsensor. The kids have been playing with it and the have changed the switch.

i have recently flashed my blade with the Swedish_Spring_RLS5 rom. the rom worked fine. however the autorotate feature did not work anymore. neither does the compass (tested with compass app). since then i have upgraded to gen2 and flashed cyanogen mod 7.0.3. autorotate still does not work. any ideas on why this is the case? or any manual rotation workarounds? the second best solution (after getting the autorotate back to work) would be to configure the hard buttons in a way that holding down the volume up button would rotate the screen. is there a way to achieve this? thanks in advance!

i have narrowed the problem down. it appears to be a kernel issue. the sensors (esp the accelerometer) do work with swedish spring and softbank kernel. is there a way to get the softbank kernel available for ss to work with cm7?
Hi all, I just got a Defy+ and I noticed that auto rotation is not wotking. Phone is always in portrait mode (auto rotation is enabled in options), I tried couple of roms and result is same. In CM roms compas calibration is working but screen is still stuck in portraid mode. Flashing officialy SBF didnt help....Is this hardver problem or there is still hope for me?
Looking at these pictures Defy on the left (my defy) has problem with compas. On flat surface both show N correctly but when I place them up my defy is showing wrong N. Is there any way to fix this compas error?
Some news...each time I flash SBF auto rotation works only for 5 sec, so I startet to experiment with system/bin/akmd2. I was mowing that file all over the phone memory, giving him diferent permision...and I dont know how but after phone restart auto screen rotation worked. I was so hapy so I decided to flash CM10 and after that flashig autorotation didnt work again. I have tried to repeat steps with akmd2 file but no help. And one strange thing...I have flashed WiUi JB 3.1.21 and in that rom my autorotation is working. Unfortunately that rom is laggy for me and I cant use it. question is why autorotation is working on this wiui rom but not workign on official sbf and other cm roms? Can I use some files from wiui system/bin to put them into CM and make screen autorotation working again? Thx

All this time autorotation option didnt work and two days ago I have installed game from google market "Traffic Racer". After playing that game for 10 min I noticed that autotoration is working :fingers-crossed: . I thing playing that game with tilt somehove triggered my sensors again and now after flashing many roms autorotation is still workin.
I downloaded pimp my rom App, as I was testing its features It affected the rom and my tab won't power on normally so I download a lenovo rom from xda after I flashed the auto screen rotation of my ideatab A3000-H stop working,I have reflashed the rom severally yet no change, pls help me it affected me that I can't play some games or even change the keyboard from landscape to potrait for typing

I just changed from Stock ROM to latest lineage OS with TWRP. After installing some APPs, i figured out, when call comes in or out, display gets off (dark) and doesnt comes back easily. Now, touch doesnt response so I cant unlock with pattern. Booting to recovery doesnt give me touch response so I cant swipe for "allow changes".
How could i fix this? Maybe with flashing now Recovery or Kernel via Download Mode, but how to do? Thank u
I suggest flashing back to a completely stock ROM and start over.
The screen going black could be an indication of a problem with the proximity sensor. The touch could be a driver issue in the custom ROM.
Edit: Airdroid Mirror doesnt work to unlock pattern lock

but i forgot to tell u there is working USB Debugging with working Airdroid. Befor the issue Airdroid Mirror works great (control movements and clicks via Windows AirDroid Tool), but now with the issue i cant unlock pattern lock with airdroid. No response while moving Finger/Mouse but function keys like home work in Airdroid and also at touch.
Any idea how to fix this special thing? Is this an proximity sensor error?

Don't think the proximity sensor would be related to Android mirror.
Since you can't unlock the phone because the touch does not work, I would flash back to a stock ROM and check as many functions as possible. If the phone doesn't function properly on a stock ROM, it is unlikely to function properly on a custom ROM.

I just flashed one of some stock roms,this one: I9505XXUGNG2_I9505OXAGNG2_DBT frome the thread "go back to stock rom" and did wipe data factory reset. It installed some apps, but then no touch is responding.
I did opened phone, reconnected all cables but no luck. How to bring back touch is working?
Try one of the stock roms from samsung-firmware.org that is specifically for the carrier that originally issued the phone.
Could the problem be a loose connection?
Same problem here. Its an Samsung S4, german version.
I tried the jfvelte-version from https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys4valueedition.html and it works great. Touch-screen works like a charm. Maybe this info will help other users.
