Can I use this firmware to update my phone using Odin. All the firmware numbers all look the same. Some branded to company's and others just to USA with multi CSC
What's your device model ?

ive seen other threads on this topic but none really answered properly.
I live in Ireland and bought my phone unlocked from the UK , i want to get my stock firmware back but i cant find one that suits my model and version. So would i
harm my device if i used a firmware from a different country that has the correct firmware i want????
s4 i9505
If the phone is unlocked you shouldn't have any issues. Except with CSC maybe.
whats CSC exactly?
Consumer Service Code, which is what Samsung uses to customize the firmware for a particular region. With devices that are locked to their carriers this also means the apps that the carrier wishes to add to the firmware. In your case, since your S4 is not locked to a carrier you can install any stock ROM you wish from any region. For example, my unlocked I9505 was originally on O2 in the UK (CSC O2U). When I purchased it from its original owner it came to me with Slovenian firmware (SI Mobil, CSC SIM). I subsequently flashed unbranded firmware onto the device and ended up with a device that thought it was Swiss (CSC AUT). In this last instance, three Swiss-specific apps were added that are not found in the other versions of the firmware. These apps were added because the CSC reported itself to the firmware installer and said, "install these apps as well". Had I changed the CSC to BTU I likely would have gotten some UK-specific firmware.
Hi Guys,
My telephone operator has run Wifi Calling feature only for branded phones from their own distribution (PLAY telecom from POLAND).
I have my Galaxy S7 EDGE from other distribution and other country.
I've found software from my operator here on UPDATO . COM portal
SM-G935F
Country/Region Poland (Play)
Product Code PRT
OS VersionMarshmallow(Android 6.0.1)
Release Date20.09.2016
PDAG935FXXU1BPH6
CSCG935FPRT1BPH1
PhoneG935FXXU1BPH1
This is exactly what I need and this can be awesome to run Wifi Calling by install branded software (they have other own implementations of WIFI Calling).
The question to you guys: How to proceed with the most clear installation to get software like in branded phones? What I should select in ODIN?
I have to clear all data and install above and change CSC to PRT because my phone has other CRC.
What do you thing? Is it make sense?
This is official software so I shouldn't lost warranty?
Thanks,
Mateusz
Looking for a similar answer for using T-mobile (US) network with the international S7 edge (SM-G935F).
The latest INS (india) firmware for G935F apparently had wifi calling support, any way I can make it work with my carrier in US?
Is that possible to check if below firmware is multi-csc or single csc and which csc are inculded inside?

I flashed my original Canadian S8 with an CSC from the U model in order to try out how it will behave
under my provider.
Now i want to go back to my original CSC so I flash my canadian firmware but the extra CSC customizations
from the US providers are still there.
I use the Samsung mobile info to see all available CSC codes and I do see the canadian providers plus the US providers.
Is there a way to erase all CSC and to have only the one that comes from the firmware?
It seems when I flash the canadian firmware with Odin, Odin does not erase the previous CSC but just appends
I bought a S8 + originally from Verizon. Then installed firmware unlocked (SM-G955U1) then the CSC automatically changed to XAA (usa unbranded).
I am currently using it in Mexico with Telcel. Everything works good, samsung pay does work, but I want to active VoLTE and use carrier ID anti spam there's no option to activate that because my CSC is not TCE, the problem is that the firmware is not SM-G955F (exynos version) that includes TCE (telcel México) CSC which allows to go to a specific setting menu to activate volte and ID anti spam.
I'm almost sure it is not possible changing the CSC because proccesor firmware incompatibility Snapdragon (SM-G955U1) and Exynos (SM-G955F).
The question is, can I change the CSC that comes with firmware U to a CSC that is supposed ONLY included in firmware F (exynos) ?
And how to do that?
I have a S8+ with the model SM-G955U [SM-G955UZKAXAA ]
Firmwares CSC Code: XAA
Active CSC Code: TMB
CSC Country: USA/US
Mobile operator : iiNet
Manufacture Date 31.5.2017
Product Name : dream2qltesq
Unlocked US
SM-G955USQU5CRK1
November 2018 security patch
and was wondering if I am able to download the australian firmware SM-G955F - XSA Australia and flash it.
The phone was purchased from kogan and has the Tmobile boot and shutdown animation on it.

I remember reading on the S8 Whirlpool forum people had flashed XSA onto Optus phones & also Kogan ones (but not sure of Kogan country source or exact S8 version or which CPU version, but should work I believe, so should be OK, but research for yourself. Those locked American carriers seem to cause a lot of hassle, not that I've much knowledge about them!)
