Here will be released the upcoming "Serenity-ROM", the counterpart to the "firefly"-ROM by me...
Currently the planning period for this ROM is in progress...
I think, it will become a "Low-Ressource" firmware, that will be quie fast...
But you can post any suggestions for this firmware here...

Can you Try following things in your new rom(for 8530) :
1. Please try to make rom fast so that we can play heavy games without lag and unlocking of phone without lag .
2. If possible,try to fix or remove memory leakage issue:silly:
3. if possible,add some kind of sound effect like vodoo or extreme grove in ROM
4. Make hidden bada storage visible via USB.
5. If possible,make GPS fix fast.:silly:

1. If it is possible to reduce the lag ... for example when I play Asphalt 6 all widgets are closed.
2. If it is possible to add a Facebook app that lets you know in real time when you receive a message, a LIKE or someone has written on the wall ... etc ... just like on Android.
3. If it is possible to add a GPS application that works and that you know when to turn right or left and when to go ahead ... I hope I did understand, because the already preinstalled, Samsung LBS, must be activated, to look your way from one point to another and to guide you on that road.

3. It is not planned to include navigation in this rom...
You have it in the "firefly" ROM with Route66... But, you need a license...

I am not using this forum active but i have run across with this chinese alternative rom which alibaba group make to compete with ios and miui i guess.
Rom 4.4 based (possible aosp based they build their framework on it)
using it for one week, you can remove any app from alibaba (include appmarket but doesnt try service.apk's ) its a good thing i guess.
I am not the developer of the rom, just sharing to get our rom databes and gettin attention to people who wants to try new roms.
has english and chinese language default. but you can activate other languages from morelocale and install fonts with other programs like ifont.
installed opengapps 4.4 pico works great
has own camera ui and i like it
got no bug or problem except opera cant work.
dont forget adding whatsapp etc apps to auto start(or you can lock them on the ram like miui)
750 mb ram using while whatsapp wps mail hello sms and timely locked to ram
400 mb ram using after start.
all apps using their own notification panel as you can swipe up icon to see its notification. they also seen on notification panel as you want.
has free themes and fonts like miui
very flow and has speed,battery friendly. has backup feature to sms' to applications.
has its own security panel to prevent trojans and password protect( when keyboard is active disable the connections immediatly while password screens)

nope as I said mostly aosp based. so you can use s-pen via s-pen add on. or apps like fooview

have you test the flyme os for n7100?

of course, battery life was good , you can remove an any system app but cant services its a nice rom and I want to share it may be we develop more things in it .(latest update was 2016)

sadly cast screen doesn't work in those roms

Resurrection Remix 5.8.0 for Gionee E7 developed by someone else. Its not my work. Its super smooth in functionality but has a lot of bugs here and there. Till now I have not completed the testing but from my conclusion it is not good enough for daily driver but with some tweaks it can be made much better.
One can install it on TWRP 3. So guys try it out and give your opinions. According t me its a big leap for our phone and hope that development continues.

You worked on AOSP ROM. So can't we implement the camera from AOSP to this ROM or MIUI, just asking if possible because there standard API would be there as compared to Stock so there is a possibility it may work if you try.

I don't care much about the camera. It would be great if we could have a 7.x rom that is stable (with the only issue being the camera; force closes, reboots etc. fixed).
Even if it won't happen thank you for your efforts!

I am using ****e oreo i bought Lenovo p2, There's nothing I can do

But their is issue with camera it is vertically opposite and flash light not working for oreo 8

I installed a rom and I liked it. But the Wifi does not work the same in the new new ROM.

stable nougat based custom rom

Hi,
A little history, my wife phone screen broke and got replaced by a (Class A) 3rd party screen in a cellphone repair shop.
A couple of days after the fix, she got a notification on the J7 system upgrade, I did advice her to wait a couple weeks before applying the upgrade since there might some problem that might come up (aside from firt time seeing a system upgrade from Samsung phone).
She got impatient (more likely annoyed to the constant system notification) and applied the upgrade resulting to the screen being unresponsive to touches(no touch syndrome).
She went back to the shop that replace the broken screen and they say that they could fix it. (which the did)
Now as it stands her phone already has a custom rom, attached the system info. Not sure if what the shop claims about the real reason behind the no touch issue is the 3rd party screen, that an original screen is needed in order to have it (j7 pro) working on oreo.
Though the did fix the no touch issue, but the overall user experience has been not ideal. Noticeable problem are random restart, cant't remember wifi passwrd after restart and non working Bluetooth. (there might be more).
I have some experience in rooting and installing custom rom on my phones before (Nexus 5X, Xiaomi Redmi Not4x and Nextbit Robin), but somehow I am putoff rooting Samsung phone because of ODIN. But since her phone has already TWRP installed, I think I can manage here (already install Magisk on her phone).
Can anyone here recommend a nougat based custom rom which is stable and have little to no issue (like the ones mentioned above).

[ROM Recommendation] Trying to install first Custom ROM in Asus Max Pro M1

Guys, Need a little help. I just want a stable Custom ROM. And my foremost requirement is "Call-Recording" feature. We don't get it in Stock and most probably Pixel Experience doesn't have it either.
I don't need Customizations or Root but if the ROM's stable and has minimal (or no) bugs, I just want that 1 feature. Plus Stock is getting kinda boring after 2.5 years I would have went ahead and experimented but I'm on a tight schedule.
Although give multiple suggestions if necessary ! Thank You in advanced

what about install PE and get a magisk module

Install CrDroid. That has call recording in built, and it's also automatic, meaning you don't have to press a button each time. There could be other ROMs with automatic call recording built in, but I don't know of any.
LineageOS also has call recording, but you have to manually press the record button each time. If you don't want to do that, you have to root and install a Magisk module to automate it.
My recommendation is to get CrDroid. The ROMs are official for Zenfone Max Pro M1, and you can get Android 11, 10, 9 and I think even 8, though the last one isn't updated.
Edit: I found that call recording was not working, and later updated to version 6.13 (of CrDroid) and now it's working but I would recommend to anyone who is interested in CrDroid just for the call recording feature to first test and see if it works and only then start using it.

I'm using Android 10 based ZenX rom.
I think its one of the best rom.
It has inbuilt call recording feature & many more.
You should try it once, but before that upgrade your firmware to 60+ version.
