Ive been trying for the last 2 days to bypass the FRP on the J5.
Ive included some screenshots so that you can see whats going on
I purchased the phone really cheap and i dont know if the phone is locked or unlocked.
it did have a EE sim but i got it without a sim as i was going to put my PAYG sim in it.
it has no sim in it at the moment
Ive done a full factory reset and ive tryed all the easy video options (pressing home 3 times, or using the keyboard settings)
but it doesnt work.
Ive then tryed Imyfone lockwiper but i keeps coming up with failed to find data package
I cant get the exact Device PDA and have tryed the nearest matching ones FXXU5 but none work.
any advice on what to try next easy or hard.

Have you got ADB enabled on your phone? I think if you have it enabled on your phone and installed on a computer then you can remove the FRP via command line.

I spent the past 2 days reading about ADB and USB Debugging before posting as am new to android phone as my last phone has been this

I downloaded ADB from XDA and opened command prompt to run it, then i run the J5 in download mode, but nothing appears on the computer.

if i run the J5 in normal mode (again i cant get into the J5 due to FRP) I can get the J5 icon on the computer but cant access anything else

Looking on YouTube there are some videos that show how to remove FRP by flashing a combination file to your phone. You have to find the correct matching combination file which will then allow you to remove the FRP by:
Going into settings
Tap "Build number" 7 times
Go into "Developer options"
Enable "Allow OEM unlocking"
Hope this works for you as I also have a phone that is FRP blocked however I was unable to find a combination file that matches my phone.

I test many manipulations to get something on my phone other than "Bootloader, Locked".

same problem here bro.tried everything..only mode available is fastboot and locked bootloader.in pc device manager i get unknown android 1.going to investigate the problem futher more.pls keep us in touch.tnx

Only way to solve this is taking the phone to technical service. Done it myself. Be careful tought, they will try to make you change the entire mother board (280€), but if you insist they will "find a way" to install the correct software in your phone and leave it as if it was new
it is possible to recovery via dongle ... but sn and imei can be lost

Hi, i'm kinda desperate but I'll try to be as clear as possible. So.
Recently I got an used galaxy s8(G950F), at the time I got It, i could get network,make calls and lte with no problems, so, I saw that the mobile was rooted and also I had really bad problems of battery,like I almost lost all my battery because of the usage of android system,( i think an app was bugged or something because my phone was really overheating when I was only using chrome and nothing more, and happened with every app I used), I didn't want the device rooted and with that problem of battery. So I tried to flash another room in order to try to fix it, and when I did, I couldn't get into network, I only get the "emergency calls only".again, In order to try to fix that, i flashed some same csc and pda firmware,then another firmware with only same baseband, (always with original firmware) and nothing seems to work. I really don't know what to do now, I pulled out the sim before factory reset, and put it after, turning off airplane and turning on, like any easy solution I could find I tried it.I'm out of ideas. One thing I saw is that the firmware I had before has pda and csc from a firmware from MXO but a baseband from ARO that ends in CR1. I couldn't find a firmware like that and also I want to know if I can fix it, really. I'll really appreciate any help. Thanks.
Some more things: if I do try to select a network at the select networks operators I get "error while searching for networks" ,the network I'm trying to connect is movistar, I'm from Argentina, I'll attach screenshots of the firmware I had before (the one that was working the mobile data) and now, also the imei didn't change or disappear so I don't think that's the problem.

EDIT: ok, i send the phone to a repair shop and turns out that the imei is blacklisted and has been changed.also the person who sold me the phone didn't mention anything about that, so when i restarted my phone it came back to the original imei. big oof for me. if any moderator sees this you can delete the post.

i thought quite a while on how to explain what, how and where i need help.
but first off i have to say that i am not a native english speaker, so please stay nice
its not my first samsung that i tried to root but this time i f´d up real bad!
my phones storage was full, even tho i deinstalled almost every app but it kept on beeing filled with "ghost" files that i couldnt figure out what it was. so i came to the conclusion to root to get rid of everything that might be a rogue file or else.
well the root worked quite well, for a about 2 hours, then i made a mistake and set the "OEM" Slider back in the developer options, after 30mins it rebooted and my phone had a FRP Lock. i know... i fd up!
then i thought, well i could easily just downgrade, reflash another rom to get rid of the FRP Lock.
as you can see, it went even more bad.
i cant flash anything anymore and need help.
since it happened a month ago i really try to recall what i have done so far, so please ask me whatever is needed to get my phone back to normal.
i tried several odin versions, the latest telekom rom, a standard samsund s7 edge rom but nothing seems to work.
i hope someone knows what to do

I'm posting here as a last resort before a factory reset.
By the way, let me first say that I'm sorry to post this here, as I know it's SO stupid, what's happening.
I had the same lock pattern for 2 years now, never had a problem.
Last week, it just fell out my mind completely. I've been trying for 4 days straight to remember it.
It's quite a complicated one, with the pattern tracing deactivated so I can't remember the shape and my thumb tried with its motor memory but to no avail :x
The thing is, I extensively use the notepad stock app (Samsung Notes ? Android Notes ?) and I have a **** TON of info I REALLY don't want to lose. And it's not on the SD card, ofc.
I don't care much about the rest, to be honest.
Fun fact, I only synced contacts via the android sync function.
So how can I either remove the lock pattern or access my phone files with an explorer on my computer (I guess I can find a memory file for the notepad somewhere), knowing that :
- Not rooted
- USB debugging not activated
- Not registered with Samsung account
- Android version is the latest available in France for an SM-A510F as I do all updates
I can provide as much as I can to prove my ownership of the phone if needed.

EDIT :
Just tried something else. Booted in recovery to try an ADB command.
Since Windows didn't recognize the phone in recovery mode, I selected the option "Load package with ADB" or something like that.
Now the phone was listed in devices on ADB and I tried this : adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key
Result : error.
Great.
So since the phone was unresponsive to any button, I waited and there was a timeout on the package load.
BUT NOW...
I have a blue screen that says "Error!" and it's completely unresponsive.
GREAT.

Hello!
So, my Mi 9T suffered water damage recently and the screen completely stopped working. I took it to the repair shop but a new screen for it would be way too expensive to be worth repairing.
I have the device with me, and i really want to recover my data on it, it is rooted with magisk, bootloader is unlocked and TWRP recovery installed. Is there any way that i can access the data through USB debugging or something like that?
I tried intalling vysor through ADB install today but it gave the error "error: device unauthorized". It's probably asking me to allow USB debugging again but there is no way i can do that without a screen/touch working as far as i know.
I saw a youtube video telling me to use the shell command to try unlocking it and there was the error.
I also tried going to C:/User/.android and deleting adbkey and adbkey.pub, didn't solve the problem.

TWRP supports Media Transfer Protocol - access Imternal memory just like in Amdroid.
However, if you set a PIN/pass/pattern, TWRP would ask you to type in when booting to TWRP (but you can't if screen not working)
