MTCE HF firmware issue - Android Head-Units

I’m struggling with an Android unit supplies by seicane. It’s for an Audi A6 c5.
It was turning on and off randomly, seicane supplies a new MCU file v3.30 and I installed and this didn’t solve the problem.....
So I took matters into my own hands (stupidly) ?
I assumed it was a px5 based system and installed one of the latest px5 MCU files and it worked, The on off problem was solved.
However the touch buttons on the side of the screen no longer work and the button calibration in factory settings also doesn’t allow them to be picked up..... after researching more I realised that although it was a px5 ish radio it’s not quite (I don’t really understand)
Prior to my meddling the radio model and hardware displayed as “HF S8 series H2233. (1024x600)
After my MCU install it now displays the radio model as PX5.
So my thinking is that because I loaded the wrong MCU file it thinks it’s a slightly different model that doesn’t have the touch buttons to the left of the main screen?
I have re flashed the old seicane MCU to try and repair my errors and it does flash but the model name still says px5 (not HF etc) and the buttons still won’t work.
Can I undo my mistake? If so..... how?
Annoyingly the px5 MCU file works really well! But being able to use the on and off button for the radio would be handy again! ?
Thanks

What you probably forget to do before upgrading the MCU was not to export your current MCU settings after entering into the Factory settings.
If you had that file you would be able to restore the configuration.
Now, to remap the touch buttons you have first to enter into Factory setting and reset the touch panel, then recalibrate the touch panel and finally you'll have access to a working button remap screen.

How to fix a problem of boot loop in joying px5 4gb 32GB system?

I have a joying px5 4gb 32GB system
I tried to do an update for Android 8
And the system got stuck in the boot loop
The system loads the company logo and then reboots itself
How to fix the problem and reinstall the system
As Joying has several kind of units having different kind of hardware it is easily to flash the wrong firmware.
ALWAYS mention which unit you have and which firmware you (tried to) flash.
Your info is "non-info".
Now blindly assuming you have a FYT unit using the latest firmware for the right resolution you can try:
Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit. It might be picked up immediately after reboot.
If not: Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit and reset the unit with a pointy thing like a needle.
If that does not help: Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit and reset the unit. When the boot logo appears, immediately reset the unit. do this 3x until the leds start blinking pink. Then it will go into forced flashing the unit (if a usb-stick is inserted).

I assume you mean JY-UOS03P4
And which file?
You need the top firmware download from this page: https://www.joyingauto.com/blog/
this one if you have indeed a JY-UOS03P4
My system came with Android 6
I tried to upgrade to 8
It seems that the files that are still sitting in the system are of version 6 also where the same steps are performed?
Where can I download the version 6 back to restore the system and then upgrade it?

What MCU do I have and are there any roms for it ?

I bought a unit on Aliexpress from the brand MEKEDE and its for my e46. The settings say it has android 7.0 but cpu-z says it has android 6 with old security patches so I guess they lied in the settings.
Now I want a rom or at least i want to factory reset this unit because i messed up the settings. I could find a way to get into the recovery and i dont know what rom would work.
Does anybody know how to get into the recovery mode ? it has no power butten but various other buttons and a reset button(like any other e46 unit)
MCU: TS907.180917

head unit hanged on android logo after upgrade

I have upgraded my head unit from 7.1.1 to 8.1, I have followed steps on youtube, but I guess the 8.1 not compatible with my Head Unit so it hanged on Android logo
there are no hardware buttons on Head unit, so I can't log into recovery mode, I tried RSt with 5, 10 .. second also I have tried to ground steering wheel connection with no luck
Any idea how to log into recovery mode to apply the new firmware
Thank you all
Nice
Try to plugin a Keyboard/Mouse, also disconnect your battery so the radio will automatically shut down completely.
The only 8.1 FW I know is for Joying HUs with RK3399/PX6 chipset, so the ROM wont work on MTCD/E RK3368/PX5 devices. You should have waited for a correct one for your HU and/or for one from Malaysk or Hal9k.
Also check this post on how to recover your bricked unit:

thank you all
I have fix update by grounding steering wheel connector 1 to ground

Recovery Mode 12.3" Mercedes Headunit

Dear users,
this is my first post since years here and I really need your advice. I recently acquired this headunit here:
Loading…
de.aliexpress.com
Its called H30 Plus and its an Android 12 12.3" inch head-unit for my W176 A-Class Mercedes.
In the beginning it worked fine, but after a while (and a reset) the screen stayed black - even the boot logo didn't appear (also after a power-disconnect). But the system itself is working, because if I press the "return" key on the original car's command wheel, or if I activate the backup camera the system shows my NTG 4.5 original system on the screen.
--> It just doesn't switch back to android.
On the side of the radio, there is a RST button, but it simply restarts the headunit. The seller ignores and doesn't want to understand my messages, so maybe I can get some help here:
1) Does anybody know, where I can get the firmware for this device?
2) Is there any commonly known methods how to re-flash these units (especially this one)?
Please help me out, because in working mode it is a really nice system and I want to try as much as possible to recover it!
