If you're using the latest Marshmallow Firmware, then you cannot Downgrade anymore.

Here, you can download and flash with odin stock firmware.
Then you can install TWRP and SuperSU.

Please help me too I can't flash the stock ROM for SM-J730F/DS as it keeps getting blocked by frp lock and I can't flash anything.Pls help

Downgrade to Noguat from Officail Oreo fido canadaina carier s8 plus

If i downgrade from oreo to noguat am i going to trap knox ? and also is it even possible to downgrade through odin after having official oreo firmware in my s8 plus ?

Download MagiskManager.apk and it should automatically download magisk for you. You will have to flash it manually via TWRP or any other custom recovery

phone is not rooted. no custom recovery installed. bootloader is locked. plz help

Search in the forum, there are a couple guides to do it

Here is my CUSTOM GUIDE, it's official firmware CRJ1 rooted with magisk, passes safetynet:

I'm also working on an Overclocked Kernel, but OREO samsung kernel source is messy so that may take a while.

Is there a way to root s7edge g9350 hong Kong version. I just need root access only

If you want to continue using the phone with stock firmware/rom but only want root access then follow the instructions in the following link:

Main thing is to download the firmware that is currently installed on your phone from sammobile website. Patch the AP img tar file in the downloaded firmware using magisk manager and flash only this patched AP using odin

SM-G950F Downgrade Bootloader U5 to U1 (9 pie to 7 Nougat stock)

Hi to all, i have S8 G950F, updated with odin with G950FXXU5DSFB_G950FOXM5DSFB_ITV (U5 bootloader).
So i must return to Nougat ( 7.0) : G950FXXU1AQK7_G950FOXM1AQK7_ITV U1 bootloader
but odin failed because samsung blocked downgrade firmware.
So now what i can do for install Nougat 7.0 ? it 's possibile install tswrp with no root and flash with odin 7.0 ? which version i can use?

Some people say downgrading bootloader can be possible through combination file ect but if u never use that file then don't, u can do more harm then good.
Otherwise no bootloader can't be downgraded and your stuck with pie

Search Search Search! Don't be stupid, Samsung bootloader nowaday cannot be downgrade (e.g from U5->U4)...the security check will not pass nor flashing is not possible!
