layely I've been playing Call of Duty mobile.
I have two SIM cards, one for calls and another for internet.
I have good speeds overall, but when I'm playing COD, the ping gets very high (above 199ms, the maximum the game displays).
If I turn off one of the cards and play from the other (it can be any of the cards) the game plays fine with ping around 50-70ms. As sson as I turn the card on, the ping goes up.
I have tried to swap the cards, the same happens, right next to me is a friend also playing with dual SIM from the same carrier but with a Huawei Mate 30 and doesn't have any issues, so the problem is my S10+.
One thing I note os the network bars are always only one or two, where my prévios Xiaomi Mi5s HD full bars.
Anyone with the same problem?

I went through the forum and couldn't find any solution, so I decided to post it here and hoping for somebody to help:
There're 3 problems/issues:
1. The phone does not always show "H"(HSPA+) for data. It usually shows "3G", and when you try to access internet, after some 10 secs, it turns to "H". This is for when you are standing still in a location with good signal coverage.
2. When I'm in a moving car, the data speed gets really slow. Takes forever to load up xda for instance. Most of the time "3G" is shown. Sometimes "H"(HSPA+) appears for a random but generally short time period.
3. When moving out and in to Wind signal coverage, it takes very long for the phone to connect to Wind's service.

Now don't tell me this is all because of Wind has bad signal, because if I put my sim card back to my old HTC amaze, none of the 3 issues above appears.
I know it's a known issue that Wind and Nexus 4 together has a problem, but I'm really looking for a solution to this as N4 is a really nice phone with Wind's unlimited data on it.

BTW. I called Wind customer support today and they give me no helpful solutions. They also admit that although they are officially offering the Nexus 4, they have no custom tweak on the radio/modem of the phone.

update: since the phone stays on 3G when there's no internet loading, it's probably saving battery this way. But with Wind's poor network, it's better to always be on "H".....is there a way to do that?

When we first got on WIND eaarlier this year we needed to get a new sim card to fix reception issues so you may wantt to see if that's part of your issue? Wife's Google Nexus 4 iwas purchased right form tehgoogle store and is not modded in any way.
I don't know if it's the area I'm in (Burlington near upper middle and bronte creek) but reception on the Wind network is spotty at best. And it almost seems as if form Jan. 2013 to now it's gotten worse at my house.
We have the same problem on my son's LG Optimus 4X HD as my wifes Google Nexus 4 so maybe it's just winds coverage in certain areas?
If there's any mod. I can do to improve the crappy signal from WIND I would love it because right now we are shopping for a different carrier due to the reception problems.
I had a friend using Solavei with similar issues. Tried a new SIM card, same issue.
Eventually got a replacement from Play Store, solved issue - was a defect in first phone. The Play Store has great support.
Details like which ROM/build would be helpful. Which modems you've tried, etc.

From past few days I am suffering from really strange issue. With full reception of H+ the fastest internet speed I can get on my Note 3 is 0,07 Mbps. Everything started when my carrier decided to "fix" something with their transmitter near to my home. Before that normal internet speed was about 15 Mbps. I have the same network in my iPad and everything works perfectly. When I insert the Sim Card from my phone into iPad I can get normal speeds but when I put it back into my phone it's still 0,07 Mbps max. I have no idea what to do. My phone is rooted. The strangest thing is that web pages seem to load fast, same with facebook and youtube but when I try to download something from play store or some web pages speed is terrible. I have installed only Exposed Framework with some modules.
Hey guys. Hope you guys can help me out here. We have Wifi at our college and I use Redmi note 3g and my friend who sits right next to me has redmi note 4g. My friend who has note 4g has higher download speed than me in everything(play store, torrents, browser downloads, etc) while mine is very slow. When downloading apps in play store he gets around 2mbps while I get around 30kbps. Another guy who sits two benches in front of me who uses note 4g gets the same speed as my friend. When I checked their wifi options they had an option in advance settings where they can change their wifi band while my phone doesn't have that feature. Other phone users get same speed as me. The guy who sits in the bench ahead me uses iPhone 5s and he has download speeds same as me(around 30kbps). So why do note 4g users have high download speeds than note 3g? Is there a way by which I can get the same download speed as they do?. The wifi router is around 10m away from me. Me and my friend use the latest miui 7 versions.
bro wifi limited speed happened often after flashing a new rom and somtime no happened , but if it happened whats the solution?
i do this :
1.wipe dalvik cache
2.pull out ur battery and turn off the modem for 30 min
3.cut off the lan wire from modem
4.turn on ur phone
5.turn on the modem(ur phone should connected,no more device,just ur phone)
6.it will be ok
Hello. Just want to say that everything started after “some kind of update after 8.0”.
I tried all the official firmware, modems, etc. Nothing helped.
My problem:
1. Very long ping 4g / 3g (speed test by okla)
2. Even longer ping when uploading data with a very low speed (0.01mb)
3. During a conversation, my speech is interrupted, but I hear the other person perfectly
I put IPhone 7 near and got 40mb/30mb speed....
tested several sim-cards - same result.
I took "network cell info" from gplay and find that at -80dbm I loose Internet connection but iPhone 7 and Xiaomi RN2 with same network quality got 4g
Same result. And after the November firmware (that was not so fast but at least it worked) I only got even worst signal.
I am using 3 yr old redmi note 3, I am facing a problem of network connection frequently. Whenever I play online game I lag badly, in morning time my ping is 250 something but in evening and night it becomes 600 plus. And also my network become stale and I have to switch to airplane mode and then back and then it works fine till I leave it idle for sometime and it again become dead. I don't face any problems while downloading movies on my amazon prime video and it gets downloaded at speed of 4 to 5 Mbps. Then what is the problem. Is it network issue or my mobile handset issue.

The easiest way to understand this is to try another device.
You can also ask people who use the same network and tariff. If they don't have a problem, it's obvious that the problem is your phone
