Hi
I have been facing issues with keyboard keep crashing and indirectly crashing the app (be it whatsapp or Text or at browser). Been using samsung default keyboard. Done a factory reset and also a fresh rom installation.
Running build no G975FXXS4BTB3
This sounds like a job for Odin! I would unroot and flash the latest stock firmware for your phone and start all over.

Hello...
I Have Some Problem with my N900..
after update by wifi I notice some lag when i was typing message ... slow response when typing on keyboard ...
i have just 10 APPs installed on my Note 3 and my android version is 4.3 Stock-not rooted...In addition I haven't any lag issues at all in my launcher or gallery.
Please Help me if anyone experienced this problem...
If Factory reset remove All of the updates?
What Should I do?
thank you...
Does this also happen on another keyboard? (Swiftkey? Hackers Keyboard?)
Factory reset keeps the current system version, but you will have to re-update all the apps.

Unfortunatly yes....on another keyboards I had this lag too... but right now I solve it...
I noticed that the lags weren't the result of the updates.. they happened just because I turned off some apps in app manager... like evernote , software update , chat on , yahoo finance , google search and some else...
So I turned the apps on and the lags went away.....
But now I dont understand why this problem occure for my device...if any one has the same problem ?
I expected turning off the apps shoud improve my device performanc and more free space of ram...but it make my keyboard so laggy and slow...

I expect it was one app that caused the issue, as opposed to all of them. Possibly one that works with the keyboards.
You could turn them off again one by one until you find the culprit.

Try to reflash latest stock firmware, after boot up, dont fill in your Gmail or samsung account, then factory reset on setting. after boot up, dont fill in your gmail or samsung account again, let it boot at the first screen, then try your keyboard again on messaging apps.

thank you for your guide .. but my problem solved by turning on the apps...
in your way all of the updates will remove and the fimware comes to it's orginal situation that it was before...
thanks a lot ....
I downloaded and flashed 'cm-11-20140922-NIGHTLY-jflte' (which I know is not as stable as a snapshot but the snapshot was stuck in a reboot loop when I installed it so I had to revert to the nightly) onto my previously stock phone and everything is fine, I can't believe I haven't had a custom rom sooner. However, the ONE app I have problems with is Facebook Messenger; it opens, but crashes when it goes to load my details in and force closes from that point on. It wouldn't be such an issue if I could still interact with people through the Facebook app, but you're forced to use the Messenger app, which seriously will not work at all for some reason.
I've tried reflashing the ROM, clearing the data and cache, cloaking the fact that the device is rooted, installing an earlier version of Messenger and just about everything I could think of. I'm at a complete loss, I don't know what's wrong. I thought maybe something to do with it accessing my contacts or something but I'm really not sure.
Any help will be appreciated, it seems stupid but Messenger is an important part of my phone, I use it daily, so if I can't get this figured out I might have to go back to stock. Thanks in advance guys!
is there any fix for this problem ?
i tried also installing the ROM again using Odin but no luck . i m not sure but the problem happen with social apps like twitter , Instagram
also YouTube app don't load the videos although it work perfectly using the browser.
im using slim 6 right now and everything work fine except there is no s-pen function which i mess a lot
Pen function requires a stock rom.
What happened to cause Odin to fail?
Did you wipe your data partition before flashing in odin? Odin doesn't wipe data.

Thanks for the replay
Odin didn't fail , I installed the stock ROM normally and installed the apps from google play
Then like after 10 min of using the app its start to lag and crash
Deleting app data and app cache will work also for 10 min the the app will start laging and crashing again.

Yes I did factory reset
Also I wiped data using twrp before using Odin
I don't know I feel that apps are no more supporting android 5.0
Because I'm running costom ROM now with android 6.0.1 and never had this problem.
Okay i have rooted s8 and running costum rom but i have problems with google apps. If i try to download something from playstore i get different errors like (490,491,403,505 and more) when im using chrome i get ssl errors. And other google apps like youtube is giving me network errors all the time.
Things i have tried : cleaning Google Play services Cache, removing and re-adding google accounts. deleting hosts. file with root explorer. Cleaning cache in twrp. Re-flashing gapps. Re installing stock rom- with odin and smart switch (but stock rom crashes and reboots all time so im unable to use it) I also have tried all costum roms.
Pls i really need help

Hard to believe the stock rom keeps on crashing just because you rooted, some samsung apps might not work but that's about it. Which roms did you try? Did you try flashing/wiping through twrp rather than odin?
.
Stock rom keeps crashing and rebooting. i did flash stock rom with odin and i tried smart switch too. i have tried all costum s8 roms and flashed them via twrp, i always did a full wipe. Running renovate ice 2.0 atm but having problems with google apps.
Please i still need help
Not too sure but i think i have some hardware problem, if i try recovery via odin my phone updates to 32% and then says erasing... and then it boots but everything crashes. Im able to use costum roms but i still get some crashes and google apps are not working well.
Hey guys, so my phone has since day one run into an issue where whenever I go to update certain apps, my phone instantly reboots after downloading but before installing. Im on Nougat with Batstock V1.2.0 kernal and I am using Magisk v14.0. I have been googling around and all I have found is reference to booting into safe mode and uninstalling. One of the most prominent apps to give me trouble updating is chrome and I can only roll back the updates with that app. Even still the problem continues. I have factory reset a handful of times but whatever is causing the issue seems to persist from reset to reset.
As always I really appreciate the help!
