If this isn't an April Fool's joke, get an app like CPU-Z and take a look at the reported Android API level. Android 10 is API level 29 but I'd bet it'll report level 28 or lower. For some raisin these sellers like to lie about trivial things like this.

hello friends, I was wondering if you can help me, my CANbus looks like its working and the steering wheel works too, however, the stereo reboots every 3-4 minutes... the thing is that if I connect something it gets frozen, and a couple of seconds it reboots, if I open an app it gets frozen, if I click on any button of the stereo it will work one or three times but then it gets frozen and reboots it again, I'm not able to listen to anything because the stereo reboots all the time many times... I tried with android 9 same error I updated to android 10 still the error, please can you help me with some ideas, I really believe it is a hardware issue and not software. regards

I just ordered the new Joying 7 inch (JY-UM135N2) head unit. I am curious about the best way to connect to the internet for music streaming and navigation. What are my alternatives? My cell phone service is with verizon. I am on a 10g plan that has been more than enough for me. I would rather not have to be dependent on my phone if it is not too much money. Could you please offer how you connect and what additional hardware I may need?

Currently I am using my phone's hotspot to connect to my Joying HU to the internet. I am using an app called mobile Data Wifi HotSpot. I configured it to turn on when charging (I plug my phone it the charger when I get into my car) and to turn it off when it is not charging. It has worked very well for me.

I have used many Music players and landed on Stellio witch is great but does not support SWC/ No apps will.

There must be a ways to add a widget to turn off screen ( BlankScreen ) instead of waiting 3 min or going in to
Assistive Touch and pressing a bunch of buttons. Would be nice to use the Assistive Touch just for shutting of the screen.

Tried to get an update for my iGo and it told me on a blue screen to get it from naviextras.com
Went on there site could not find Joying and contacted them and this is what they sent me because I could not update it.
Very disappointed that you can not update this system.

Volume button on the Deck is made up of 3 items piece one works good but the other 2 that are on the button ( Chrome ) spin around and move back and forth.

To blank screen drag the curtain and there is an option which turns the screen off.

All I see is Restart, Standby, Shutdown
T-Mobile offers the SyncUP Drive, which is great, it is a hotspot that plugs into the OBD2 port. Verizon has that HUM service, but I dont think it includes a hot spot.
Is there any way to fix the script and change the time from 3 min to 1 min in the Blank Screen or Black Screen(Funny they are both the same thing but different name)?

Can Pro: 3.0 (8227L)
DDR: 1G Flash: 16G
CPU: A7 1.3 Ghz x4
Display : 1024 x 600
MCU:3.1 (8227L)
A few issues since install :
1. No fader controls - major drag
2. Rear view camera does not display and loops until the car is taken out of reverse. Seems the head unit cannot take anymore.
This is one of those cameras that has a combined power / signal connector (polzoe connector - I think)
I have also added a DAB+ Aerial on USB - works great (thanks Zoulou is it).
I did not complete the installation of the rear view camera as it would have meant butchering my rear
bumper for something that possibly does not work.
I have run the cable and would really like it to work. Not sure whether this is a head unit limitation or if is should pursue with the suppliers of the camera.
I'm leaning towards the headunit..
Hello I have the same cartablet as you and I have the same problem with the rear view camera .... I found a small solution .... I set the stereo that restarts at every switch on, that is when the nissan logo and the Android one come out, by magic rear camera works, but only and exclusively while loading the settings, once entered on Android the rear camera no longer works !!! Anyway, it's a ****ty tablet ....

I have a Chinese Android headunit with the 8227L_Demo chip and the fader-balance is not working. I have the option but when I move the dot around the car image, the sound still plays on all 4 speakers. Also, the EQ settings doesn't seems to change anything. The other bug I have is there a big gap/jump in the volume between 17 and 18 and the sound mute for half a second when I switch from 17 to 18 and vice versa.
Anyone experienced something like that ?

me too, same problem. my unit is Blaupunkt key largo 970 but CPU-Z and some other in system hidden settings confirm that this unit is alps_ 8227L_Demo.

Hello Guys, I don't have any solution, but I have the same issue. Fader doesnt work. As far as I know, this is not because of the HU but the Harness. I have a JBL System and I had to buy an extra harness which doesnt allow me to use FADER.

I'm afraid guys, there is no solution. The reason it doesn't work is that your unit does not have a dedicated audio chip. Older units all had it, like YT9216, YT9217, YT9218, and even (older) YT9213AJ. If you buy Android 8.x or 9.x then the audio chip will be present.
See the pictures below explaining the issue.
The audio chip is TDA7729 (TDA7719 , CSC37033 , SCS37534).
Now there is a fix but it requires advanced soldering skills and a proper setup.

Hello everyone, new here and looking for suggestions and some help. Looking to purchase a big screen head unit and would like some help on making a decision as idk what exactly to look for. First its going in a 2010 jeep Grand Cherokee. i would like the 13.3 screen but those models are only motorized and dont adjust move around so i think my biggest only option is the 12.8. Now ive been looking at a few like the klyde (which seemed like my best one feature wise), phoenix automotive, joying, belsee, and seciaine. and most do have the same chip but noticing that they were running android 8 and would like to have one with 10 is there a way to update these? Also the klyde one seemed to offer different chips but im not familiar with any of that yet so i was wondering wich one yall would reccomend? I would like have the best features possible (i know the parts arent supper high end but thats alright) the hd screen possible hdmi and dsp (not an audiophile but ive heard it does help).
