HI,
After GPS fix, it is usable now, BUT it talks when it wants to only.
I am using google navigation, but it is not talking randomly.
I check every setting. It is not muted and volume is all the way up.
I even turned off bluetooth just in case.
What drives me crazy is it works just fine sometimes even if I did not change anything.
Anyone has the same problem? possible fix for this?

I purchased the Note 8.0 last week and like everything about it. However, there is one annoying issue that I have yet to resolve. I get allot of notification alerts and when watching a video or listening to music, the incoming notification temporarily pauses the video and interrupts the audio. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you resolve?

This happens with my Samsung Galaxy phone too. My workaround was to turn off most notifications. Also, I use a sound profile app to turn off the notification sounds during the work day, and I don't notice that the muted notifications affect anything I am listening to. I don't know how else to "fix" it, but perhaps someone else will have a good idea.

Have you given the blocking mode a try, it has an option to supress notifications as well as calls and stuff.

I did try the blocking mode, but it bugs me that there's an icon showing that the blocking mode is on. I haven't found a way to turn that off. (Dang, I'm picky.)

Does anybody else got voice interactor notification when using camera app, calling, or anything else that requires mic access? Its a google search widget who couses this annoying notification box, where basicaly im not able to use any app that requires mic access apart google assistant/google app... I can disable OK google detection and thats pretty much fixes the problem, but thats really annoying.. Any suggestions ?
I have the same issue on LON-L29C636. First I found someone that just cleared the cache of whatever app it was popping up in and it would temporarily fix it. After a few hours it comes back. The I was told to try turning off Google's Voice detection that will detect "ok google" at anytime even if the screen is off. I tried that once and it worked great. But somehow the setting keeps turning back on even after trying to turn it off. the Google app literally doesn't allow you to turn off the feature for some reason.
It's getting really annoying...
I am having trouble with the android wear app silencing notifications on my phone, I am sure it is the app or something to do with android wear causing it because if I clear data on the app it will fix the problem temporarily, but problem returns after a while, I do not have any of the settings in the app to silence the phone turned on, and everything everywhere indicates they should be ON but the sound is muted for text, email, and other notifications, phone calls do ring however. like I said, clearing data on the android wear app fixes it for a while, maybe a day or so, maybe shorter, I cant seem to find any solutions for this anywhere... Any Ideas?
I'm on BQK5 (Latest) for sprint and when I say ok google I no longer get any type of display notification that it is listening. This is fine if i have my car input set to the phone bluetooth as I'll hear the beep but when I don't I have no idea it is listening. Does anyone else have this happening? Not even a flashing screen.
Seems if I turned off google assistant and back on it fixed it. Anyone else ever have this occur?
