Octane 2 score on Exynos 9820 - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Can anybody please let me know their most possibly recent score on Octane 2 with Exynos 9820? All of a sudden, mine has dropped to 17500 and I wonder whether it is a problem with my device or a change in the scoring system.
Thank you!

[Q] Slightly concerned with the CPU statistics on my N3.

Hello,
I just recently picked up a GN3 from Pakistan and due to how shady the cellphone market is here, I have been trying everything I can to figure out whether my phone is a fake or not. The device was shipped in from the UAE and what concerns me a little is the information I'm getting using a few apps that scan the CPU.
My knowledge in this regard is a little weak and for some reason I feel like I don't have the chipset that Samsung might have wanted me to have. Please take a look. I have the SnapDragon 800 version (SM-9005).
Should the processor say something along the lines of SD800E instead of ArmV7?
Thanks in advance.
Use this app if it's available to you and it will tell you if its real or a fake. It compares it to other devices.

Thats a Legit N3, All SOC are ARM Based.
Manufacturer, Device, Product, Brand, Android Version, API level, build ID, Fingerprint, Resolution, Processor, Memory, etc is all correct. From that app atleast you should have this if you scroll down:
OpenGL 1.X (Adreno(TM) 330 same for GL 2.0
Graphics mode should be RGBA 32BIT
If so, your all set. You can also benchmark it for peace of mind... your score should be 17~20k on quadrant and geekbench 3 should be 800+ for single-core and 2400+ for multi-core. (Mines 869/2510 GB3, 20K on Quadrant but stock should be abit lower)
There is no way any of the fake note 3 soc will come close to these scores.

That's definitely a legit n9005. I have the same stuff come up on mine which is uk version.

Just a heads up though, if you use xposed framework and have xprivacy installed it can come up as a fake due to the app not having permission to read all the info.
I have 2 Note 3's that are "Fakes" but as soon as xprivacy was turned off they become Genuine...

Is my s7edge lemon ?

So I bought a tmobile s7edge after returning my Canadian exynos after reading about various online reports on how overall a better processor the snap 820 is ,also the fact that fm radio is built made it overall a better value for me.
However I tried benchmarking my fine expecting antutu to be around somewhere between 120k to 130 but the best my device gets is 98k (this is after keeping it in a freezer). Even my 3d mark scores are low for a snap 820 device. Quadrant score is somewhere between 34k to 41k Only the geekbench seems to give a normalized score.
I have tried factory format, wiping cache, putting in the freezer over an hour.
One odd thing which I noticed was my gpu clock was stuck at 214 mhz even in the best case scenario( Cpuz pic attached)Could it be that the new tmobile update screwed up gpu clock or is it something else.
I cannot return the phone unfortunately as it beyond 30 days and I hardly doubt that phone could easily be a lemon as I remember once benchmarking quadrant (fresh out of the box) and it gave me a 57k score. What do you guys think what's going on?
Yes, it's. I'll buy it from you for $400. ?
TengTengvn : $900 and it's yours lol
Bump anyone ?
I am still waiting for a solutions folks. Please anyone ?

Lower Antutu score

Hello , i am using the exyynos variant of the s7 edge. When i benchmark it i get a score of 105000 on average.
But the other s7 edge variants get a score of 138000. which is a big differance. Does anyone know y this is happening.
I experiance some log while playing games too.
Thanks in advance

Be sure you bench the phone from a cold state as the score will drop big time if it's heated. Also the lag should go away in two weeks.
turn off all power saving options and other features present in nougat
also, whisper in its ear when you start the benchmark from cold...

It's normal. I get lower score in Antutu Benchmark every device I use like Note 2, Note Edge, S7 Edge. There are too many reasons for that, first is heat. Number of installed app, cache, thumbnails, Whatsapp Files and SD Card fullness are other things to effect Antutu score.
(Antutu Average Score is calculate in best conditions, I mean, it's just theorotical score, not pratically. So, you don't need to think about getting lower score on Antutu )
Like everyone said, you should bench from cold state. Also delete every app running in backround. :good:
like it matters... the overall performance is the most important and I addume you're happy with S7 speed.
life is too short to worry about benchmarks

Verizon V20 Poor Performance

Hi there,
I recently bought a used v20 and found it to be really slow for a SD 820 device so today i ran Antutu and Geekbench and i'm getting like 73k in antutu and 1800 multicore in Geekbench.
That does not look right. Any suggestions?
I've searched around and no one else who thinks their phone is lagging did the benchmarks.
That doesn't sound right. Mine is running nice and smooth with no issues, did you purchase the phone from a carrier of 3rd party?
antutu average for this phone is around 130k i believe so your phone isnt working right
Your scores are really low.
I've just ran both tests and get the following results:
Antutu - 148346
Geekbench 4 - Multicore - 4061

Low Antutu Benchmark s10 plus snapdragon

As the title says,i got 334 K on antutu benchmark with my s10 plus snapdragon one,two weeks ago i had the exynos s10 plus and got 344 K then i switched to SD since i wanted a 7nm CPU for better performance and battery life.
Whereas i got lower numbers while all the youtube videos show average of 360 k for SD 855 s10
Am i missing something?

Yes, benchmarks dont matter.
If you reallly wanna know... the people who make bench mark apps can make your phone score 111,99999999 if they realllly wanted to...and if a company pays them allot of money to make thyre phone look the best on bench mark scores then they also can ie Huawei done that
my antutu score is with my G9750 368,000
