Does anyone have a semi stable version of Google Camera 7.2 or 7.3 working on Nokia 6.1 Plus?
I tried the latest version of cstark7 and urnyx05 , they works fine but the shutter button doesn't work after capturing 4/5 photos..
I tried many versions but all of them have the same problem - they don't click photos!! It's very annoying when you have something very interesting and beautiful to capture but then your gcam shows you the real reason why you should go and buy a pixel device.
I am using parrot043 latest version 7.3. It's really nice. But app not saving pics after 2-3 days. Restarting Mobile only solves it.

Gcam working with lineageos nokia x6
Hello I had the exact same problem with Gcam since Android 10 update, I recently ulocked the bootloader and went with LineageOS 17.1, gcam works perfectly fine now. I use the apks from San1ty :
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-san1ty/
Everything works fine, even nightsight in total dark, no stutter what so ever! the App never crashes, pics are always saved.
You can find lineageos compatible mod from Raghu varma on xda :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-6-1-plus/development/beta-lineageos-17-0-t3985367
I don't think nokia is going to solve this, because they probably altered their "rom" to work with the cam on the nokia x6, so maybe the necessary libraries don't work anymore with Gcam ? something like this ?
Anways, it works perfectly fine now.

Here's the BSG mod https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/MGC_7.3.020_RPII_v0f.apk
And this is the version I'm currently using from ARnova
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/GCam_5betaFinal.200510.2111build-7.3.020.apk
only problem is that you can't view or capture another photo until the current photo you've captured have finished HDR Processing,
If you do capture or view photos while processing you'll see grayed shutter button,
Just reboot the phone to fix it,
If it doesn't work after reboot then clear data and re install it.

You might consider trying the modified CameraNext app. http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...eranextmod-t3086513/post60202401#post60202401
I quite like the stock OxygenOS camera app though. Good luck!
I'll give it a try thanks
Camera fv-5 (and cinema fv-5)is my all time favourite.
Stock Camera app is great to be honest. I quite like it.
Just use Camera 360....even has an awesome editor
Manual Camera is probably the most powerful

It doesn't look like it has a beauty filter, however, in the settings it does have a skintone enhancement switch.
I was using CameraNext which a lot of users on XDA seem to recommend. But, I noticed that the sharpness on the photos was turned up too high. This is good at times, but I found that my photos came out looking a bit grainy for my liking. I then discovered a modification of that called Snapdragon Camera which I have been using and like the best so far. It also has an option to output to a RAW format though I haven't tested it yet.

The one you've just linked to is OK on the OnePlus 2/Oxygen OS 2.1.1 but not everything works and, once it's FC'd once, data for the app needs clearing to get it to work again.

Interesting, I am on the same ROM and not had any FC yet. But, as I mentioned I haven't exhaustively tested it. On the basic settings I prefer the output over stock camera and cameranext and haven't had any crashes yet.

It runs very good on E6883
Flashed the latest Mokee ROM (March 10th version). WOW does it work so well! Other than lack of fingerprint sensor (which I don't use), I've never seen such a stable AOSP ROM as this! Also it comes with working kernel and TWRP recovery! I've already placed SuperSU and Viper4Android and my phone is kicking real hard! Camera is basic but works beautifully, and it reads my 128GB MicroSD card as well.
Really impressed.
Since the new nightly came out, you might give it another try for E6853? It seems to accept single sim model as well, and hopefully that night build resolved not all but some issues?

I can't flash it on my E6833, says device is not compatible during the install , also errors about E: not mounted.
version I used is MK71.2-satsuki-201704211533-NIGHTLY Model : E6853
First link is the picture with the default app.
the other two are screenshots of the default app open
Video also works EDIT:2 (Bug using the Volume keys to Zoom freezes the picture while recording, the recorded video also has this frozen picture) zooming with finger is still ok and working.
https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...?key=T2oxU0EyQ2VmWUtEbDhULXJENU9iVlREdFJUMEV3
Over all this rom is solid. runs extremely fast in comparison to stock, Games load crazy fast, I don't even see the loading screen on one of them anymore.
Google apps are all working
Wifi and mobile data are working
fingerprint reader is working
all standard AOSP features look like they're working normally, I've not had any FCs or problems since last night when i flashed it.
it is missing some features or i'm not sure where to activate them, like the split screen feature of Android 7 .... maybe its not in the AOSP roms yet, or it was taken out as a useless feature.
But over all, very snappy rom. very stable, except for the aforementioned bug in the video recorder, this is my new daily driver i think. a bit more testing and observation but i think Mokee has a winner there.
................................................ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> .........................................................
Final Edit.
A few days later
stable. solid. quite simply one of the best open source roms ive used.
faster than stock in every way. has built in root, built in privacy controls, best battery management ive ever seen in a phone.
options for this i thought should have been standard in android already.
like reversing the volume keys in landscape mode.
per app. notification management
DPI setting
much much better app loading. still cant get over how fast my games load.
but ... there is always a but.
the camera after alot more testing, just ain't the same. its a fine camera app. and it works well. as solid as the rest of the rom. but the over all quality when compared to my older photos of things I took in the same light conditions, sony stock with post processing just kills it.
gonna go back to custom debloated stock once Xposed is updated for 7.
ill keep an eye on mokee roms though, except that camera. the rom is just amazing. once a top quality decent camera is made that works for this rom. it will easily be the best rom made for this phone.
Post 12 is positive, does anyone have any news about the full functioning of the Rom on the E6853?
Can any one post some screen shots!?

basic focusing is alright but in-depth it just couldnt do any good for me like always. dont get me wrong. it is stable and working 100% like it worked in miui 8
i got a bunch of tags twisted together and tried to focus and it failed as usually while with the otther camera (cyberia cam) it atleast focused once and trying to focus as much as it could be.
miui cam fails (about focusing part only) by a half a mile for me

This is the GCAM from Pixel 4/4XL/4a ?
Well on my crusades of random youtube videos tonight custom of the pawn of video talking about g cam 7 and Astro photography. I don't know if anyone else would be interested in a newer g cam APK but I found one of the newest Google camera that works on our devices. My only suggestion to get rid of some green tint this to go into settings and change your viewfinder to the one beginning with YUV. Link posted to save y'all the trouble of going through the pop up process.
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/
Download the first one. 7.2.010 it's by Xenius9
Also in advanced settings is where to turn on Astro photography. All modes seem to work, what I've listed is tweaks I've done. Hopefully I've helped someone upgrade their GCam because Lord knows I love to stay in top of things with what's probably the best camera app on Android ??? cheers. Any questions you have let's work it out together and he'll each other folks.

I went here to track what updates have appeared: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-urnyx05/#apk1625
Downloaded this release which was published on June 20 2020 https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.0.apk
It seems to work just fine. I have some use cases where I've been missing my Pixel .
One thing I do find annoying about this gcam is that motion photos are on by default, both versions I've installed have been in that mode and I had to disable it.
Can anyone help me with working Gcam 7.3 for Samsung Note 9 Exynos Variant not rooted.
Tried couple of mods but not working at all. App crashes immediately after opening the App.
Thanks in Advance.
Running Android 10.
I have had no luck. A few packages have installed for me and opened, but the pictures it takes will only display as a gray screen. Most, like you, just crash.
The same problem here
The latest version from the zexynos Telegram group works well, way more natural looking results compared to stock cam. Install it, then create a Configs folder in the Gcam folder and put the xml file in there. Then open Gcam and double tap in black area below shutter button and then select the XML you put in the configs folder, tap restore. Then close Gcam, go to settings, apps, camera, force stop, clear cache, reopen GCam and you're good to go.
