Hi guys
I`ve got a major Problem Here. Please help!!
Me and a friend wanted to update my rooted Galaxy s4 from The unofficial to the official Kitkat Firmware. But The update failed. We tried again but still no succes. I didnt have enough space on my SD card. So I did a factory reset, installed twrp and let Odin install a small custom Rom. Odin succesfully installed it but Then I got stuck in The Boot screen. Probably I didnt turn on USB debugging
After days of surching The web I found out that I could change The rights for USB debugging over ADB tool. But i get stuck on The <su> command after entering <ADB shell>. The command cant be executed or something like that.
I then noticed that the root had gone with the factory reset. I installed that and now my PC (adb) wont recognize the phone anymore.
What should I do? Im still quite a noob so please dont critizise me if I missed something obvious.
Should I use ADB or is there a better sollution?
Please please help.
Hope that theres a sollution.

Do you have a custom recovery? Try to install it. I recommend CWM 6.0.4.6.
Later that, flash any flashable rom(remeber: correct model). Later flashing, reboot.
Hi,
yesterday I got d802 phone to fix it. First the phone was stuck at LG screen with certification error which I fixed. Phone was recognized by PC and i installed twrp on phone. I tried everything (i guess) and now phone is stuck at LG screen and it doesnt move. Now i cannot go back to twrp recovery but i can get to download mode but phone isn't recognized by pc so i cannot flash kdz file to phone. I'm really stuck at this point. Is this real hard brick or is there any way to fix it? Any ideas what should i do or something i can try?
I tried to plug phone in other computers and it's the same thing. My laptop recognized that something is plugged in once but it didn't know what was it so by now. Somehow from time to time phone doesn't go to download mode but it goes in hardware key control mode.
Hope someone can help...
So far i manged to get to recovery mode but adb sideload isn't working. I tried to wipe everything and that didn't help. As we speak factory reset is in progress but I think it's stuck on formatting cache. I hope I'll be able to get the phone recognized in download mode. Any suggestions are appreciated
I have made some progress. ADB is working now and i pushed cyanogenmod and on installation it says that it cannot mount data and cache. I think that main problem is that phone isn't rooted and now I'm trying to root phone via adb. If someone knows anyway to do this that would be great
Hello Guys! . I've got an issue on my hands, and I'm not really sure how can I solve it. I installed a new ROM, through TWRP recovery. After flashing, I tried to access the recovery, but the the phone started to bootloop, and sometimes it showed a greenish welcome screen. After a few bootloops, the phone started normally, entering the system. So, no recovery on it. Right now, after I tried to access the recovery a few times, the phone is blocked on bootloop . No access to files, no access to system, and no access to recovery also. Can you please advise what can I do furthermore?
Also, very important to mention is that the computer doesn;t seem to see the phone, I tried to another PC, the same thing. It says (in both computer cases) " USB device not recognised".
Is there any way to force somehow fastboot mode on the phone? ...
I really need some helping ideas, since I'm out....
Thank you!
Hello,
after successfully rooting my G2 and installing TWRP I wanted to get LineageOS 14.1 on my phone. I installed the 14.1-20170410 build and the gapps mini package through TWRP, but after rebooting my phone it won't get beyond the lineageOS loading animation, even after a few hours. So I restarted it, but it still gets stuck. Now I can't access recovery or download mode trough the hardware buttons, it just doesn't do anything, when I try to get into the download mode it just shows the charging screen. The only thing I could get to so far with the hardware Buttons is the hardware key control mode, but I don't see anything useful there. My PC only recognizes the phone as a HID device and I can't do anything with ADB or the LG Flash Tool. I've found guides which deal with a hard brick, but in these guides the phone should be recognized as qhsusb_bulk in the device manager which isn't the case with my phone. Does someone have an idea?
Thank you,
Wambomeister.

What I would do:
Boot via Buttons into TWRP, perform a wipe, flash Lineage + Gapps, wipe again, boot into system.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the answer! But don't all solutions mentioned in the thread you posted require either access to the download or recovery mode?

I got the same problem when trying to root my G2 (D805). It never gets to download mode. Just shows the LG logo with the message "Secure Booting Error Cause : boot certification verify". Are you guys able to help me?

Dear Jairo,
Sorry for the late response. I am not sure what is difference between G2 (D802) and (D805) on the software side. Yes, I can try to help you. As I said, it is pretty hard to help somebody without remote control, because firstly, we need to diagnose the situation.
Okay, let's move on.
You will need a computer, USB and of course your LG G2 (D805) bricked device.
Download LG drivers and install it on your computer.
URL: www102.zippyshare.com/v/fBp5aQhM/file.html
Connect your LG G2 device per USB to the computer.
Now press and hold: Power button + Volume Up button (at the same time), until your phone reboots. After force reboot, you should be in Download Mode. If you failed, try again.
If this does not work, let me know. Sorry for the bad English. I hope you understand me.
Hi everyone. Hope somebody can help me restore my phone again. I have successfully unlocked the bootloader of my phone but I cannot boot to Rom. Every time I power on the phone it will boot to CM stock recovery. Tried to flash TWRP recovery but unable to write image. Device is locked. Did some research and found out the reason behind this is I did not unable update to CM Recovery in Developer Options.
What is the best way to resolve this issue? I still have access to Fastboot and can do ADB commands but device is locked.
Will sideloading a stock CM OP2 Rom will fix the issue? I'm also concerned with the draining of the battery, if I cannot turn on because no more charge already.
I'm using Mac computer but I can borrow a windows laptop to fix this.
Any help will be highly appreciated..
Thank you very much in advance guys!
God bless!
