HI All. I just succeeded to format my 32go SD card as internal storage to extend my memory on my phone. ( com.android.documentsui.LauncherActivity => sd card => storage setting => format as internal )
The process works ( now my total storage is 32 go ) but I'm still unable to enjoy my full capacity as my system storage does use 23 go!
Any idea how I can fix this ?

I've been a regular user of SD merged roms for Lg E400. I love the SD merge feature as it bypasses the very low 150 mb data storage limit .
However ,
>> With SD merge, External card acts as internal . Is there a way to fix this ? For the external card to act as external ? Its annoying that i have to restart the phone after removing or changing a mem card .

My Oppo Find 5 storage is as follows:
1.97 GB Internal storage (which I guess it's the data partition)
25.23 GB SD card (not external sd card)
I only have 192MB left on Internal storage, and I can't install almost new apps. I tried moving apps to SD card, but many can't be moved.
I've installed CyanogenMod 12, so I have ClockworkMod recovery, and ADB and fastboot on my computer.
Can I make the "internal storage" partition bigger using some or all of the SD card partition? How?

I have a problem to use the new fonction on android 6 which allow to use the micro sd as internal storage.
When i put the SD card into the device, i have not choice between internal and external.
How to do this please?

You can do it with an ADB command but after that you can't save anything on internal storage
On android 6 the sd card add internal + external storage doesn't it? It's just that we don't know if it's in internal or sd card?

Is there a possibility to have sd memory as internal phone memory ?
I have phone wiht android 6.0.1 (and there is no option to format sd card as internal phone memory).
My phone memory is nearly full (when I transfer apps from phone memory to sd card - I get space, but when I update the apss - they are on internal memory again, I must transfer them again - everytime I update the apps).
My phone have root , Is threre a solution to install apps on sd card ?
Or any room whit this option ? (instaling apps on sd card) ?
I have formated the SD Card as internal storage
The storage settings showns me that the "device storage" (don't know the exact english wording, have a german phone) has 2 parts... Internal Storage & SD-Card
This looks great... But the phone is just using the internal storage. So Pictures, Whatsapp, Apps, etc. will be stored there instead of at the als internal formated SD-Card. The result is a storage warning that my phone is while the SD-Card is empty.
So what do I have to do to get the phone storing everything on the internal SD-Card?
