Hi everyone,
I have a big problem with my xda:
Every alert orevents the phone from switching off the light and switching off at all. Only after I click on "close", everything works fine.
The big problem is, when an alert pops up at night, the light stays active til' I confirm the alert and so the battery gets empty.
Is there any idea what's causing this problem?
THX,
MatMike
Its a windows setting...
Yes, I found this too. You need to switch off pretty much all of the alerts in Windows. I found the 'low battery' warning the worst. My battery goes fairly low, then in the middle of the night an alert pops up telling me the battery is low, and the screen stays on until you turn it off, or more likely the battery goes totally flat -doh! Anyway you need to go to "Start", "Settings" "Personal" "Sounds and notifications" and go through all of that list in Notifications to stop them switching the screen on etc. Great set of defaults hey!lol
OK so whenever I get a text the screen lights up like notification but it won't turn off EVER. Until I check the message.
It's killing my battery. Is this a normal feature?
Today I was texting and when I got a text I would grab the phone and try to type but as soon as I got to the phone the screen turned off. seemed like the timing is like a few seconds too short. Is there a way to change this setting? It's not the normal screen timeout. Thanks in advance.
on a side note... has anyone found a way to turn off the battery notifications for low power and fully charged.
Is there a way to tell why my phone wakes up seemingly randomly? Whether it's charging or not, it just wakes up, says "Finding Location" (which is usual), and then re-locks. No other notifications or icons...
So I saw that my phone had a bunch of notifications but I couldn't check them at the moment because I was busy and I thought I would check them later. I saw them on the lock screen and the LED indicator was blinking. But when I came back after a while, the LED wasn't blinking and the notifications did not show on the lock screen or the pull down notification tab. Do notifications have a certain duration or time period in which if they aren't opened or checked they just go away? If so what Is the duration?
