How to reflash stock Rom to Xiaomi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro ? I accidentally locked my phones bootloader, and wiped the system on it. Now it says The system has been destroyed. I tried various recovery methods with no luck. I even opened the back cover and tried test point method with holding the power button more than 15 sec. It gives me the error, saying cannot read hello package. Can't turn on developer options debugging mode since I have no access to system. The phone originally came unlocked with Global rom. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Hi.
I also done the same thing, I had the system is destroyed error, this is because you cannot reflash the ROM using a custom recovery, make sure you have stock recovery and it will work fine, when I messed the system doing this, I used the mi unlock tool again as the bootloader will have been relocked, try this and it should work.

So put the phone into fastboot, apply to unlock the bootloader again and it should work, if you have to wait then there is no other option wait the quoted time, if that goes ok then reboot to fastboot and use XiaomiFlashTool V2 and download your specific ROM.

Hello yes I had this problem and you have to install a recovery with fastboot cause even if the screen doesn't show fastboot mode i think your device is recognized by fastboot. After you could access recovery. And i restarted my phone by the cmd "fastboot boot boot.img" but when i have to do it always when i power off my phone so i not resolved all the problem
What version do you use? I tried official or unofficial rom, it does not work.
I got bootloop even I tried "fastboot boot boot.img or fastboot flash boot boot.img".

Flash stock ROM via Side load ADB in fastboot mode.Search google or XDA u will get info how to flash stock ROM in fastboot mode.
U need to download full ROM ( or fastboot ROM) of ur device !
I'm currently facing the same problem...and though the phone goes into fastboot, and the PC device manager detects the phone as ADB Android device (even when the phone is simply attached without pressing anything or the power key), cmd ADB doesn't detect the phone, cos USB debug mode is turned off after a wipe and a new installation...even if the installation goes sideways, like this situation....so pls someoone come with a better response.

That's what bricked my device! installing stock rom downloaded from Asus...The updated ROM had no effect on the previous challenges I was facing, so I downloaded this ROM instead UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-12.8.5.222-user to try a downgrade, then I update through OTA once done, and it landed me with this problem... I can't tell if it's the Rom, or I missed something...

Well, i guess u missread my previous comment since i made it clear that i downloaded both the latest firmware, and the one that came with my phone from the official site....
secondly, without usb debug mode turned on, i don't see the possibilities of flashing the roms...but also, i've come accross ppl with similar issues in a different thread, which i'm closely following and monitoring....with the hope of a breakthrough.
so, thanx for your time.

ohh i m sorry.yes ther are threads regarding same issue.Hope u will got ur device working soon :good:
So I upgraded to Nougat on my P9 Lite, unlocked boot loader, used twrp, flashed roms and everything went smooth. Saw a more up-to-date version with no bugs, so I had to downgrade to MM first.
I followed a guide, but I messed up somewhere and ended up having my bootloader locked, and I can't access the OS to enable developer options and oem unlock from settings. The reason why I can't access the OS is that I am stuck in the setup. I am stuck at the part where I have to sign in to my google account. It doesn't show a keyboard, only a microphone, and I can't use that for my password (it won't let me).
Any ideas?
TL;DR messed up during downgrading from Nougat to MM, now TWLR is gone, bootloader is locked and my main issue is that when I get to the google account sign in part during OS setup, there is no keyboard (I can only use dictation) so I can't sign in... So I'm stuck
Also, can I unlock bootloader without access to OS, without being able to navigate to settings, enable developer options and then oem unlock?
1. Stuck in OS setup? Signing in to Google? Hey, it's not obligatory, can't you just skip it?
2. Flashing ROMS locked your bootloader, it's normal, but I'm sure it didn't change the "oem unlock" setting you had surely enabled before. Go to fastboot mode and check Bootloader and FRP status on the bottom of the screen. If FRP is unlocked, you will be able to unlock bootloader again.
3. If you have your TWRP gone (flashed by stock ROM), flash the recovery partition manually - fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img (download from Meticulus Project site).

It is obligatory, I couldn't skip it. I tried to use other methods of signing in, but then it asked me to reset password at the end.
Both Phone and FRP are locked
I think I have missed this, but I can't do it via fastboot because I keep getting "Command not allowed" whenever I try to unlock bootloader or do anything via fast boot.
Also, thank you so much for your time and input. It is much appreciated.
That's weird, I flashed my phone several times with different ROMS (not Nougat) and this setting (oem unlock / FRP unlocked) stayed enabled. Don't know where it sits then and how to change it without getting inside OS. But - what about TWRP? Oh right, you won't be able to flash it without unlocked bootloader... Oh, crap. I would try SRK Tool for Huawei to play with bootloader, it uses fastboot so shouldn't help, but maybe, just maybe? Maybe try flashing whole ROMs through dload folder on SD? Stock 120, 161, Nougat, I would try these. I hope there is some way to unlock FRP, probably it's possible in DC-unlocker (it's a paid software).

Yes, it's very weird. I haven't done the process a lot. But I've flashed a couple of phones I had before, went smooth. Nothing major like this happened before.
I will consider the SRK Tool and I did not know about the DC-Unlocker tool, thank you for telling me about it.
Flashing whole roms through dload folder only works with Nougat for some reason, and I keep getting stuck in the signing in problem because of no keyboard, someone told me that's incomplete software, I'm hoping that's the case, any ideas where can I get it from?
Again thank you Jagiel88 for your time and advice xD
No problem, unfortunately I haven't tried Nougat yet, so search for help on down/upgrade Nougat beta <-> Marshmallow threads .

Unlock bootloader, after that you able to flash rom.
You use this command?
fastboot oem unlock YOUR_OEM_CODE
If you tip:
fastboot devices
What's you see?
My wife got a P9 Lite L31. I wanted to upgrade to Nougat. I finally succeeded, but after that I messed things up. I tried to do a clean intall with a update that wasn't ment for this.
In the beginning I could still enter the Nougat recovery, but I wasn't able to reinstall the update.zip. The device wouldn't boot, etc.
I tried to do many different things, but at this moment I cant enter TWRP anymore, I can enter fastboot and is says:
PHONE Unlocked
FRP Unlocked
But flashing an other TWRP recovery doesn's work because I get an error:
(Remote: Command not allowed).
Also relocking the bootloader doesn't work because is gives the same error as the one above.
I can't flash a OEM file through fastboot because it gives the same error as the one above.
I can't use HiSuite because it says it does not support the phone.
I don't know what else I can do right now.
I tried the 3 button method, but I can't get in the official recovery. The phone reboots to some kind of recovery where it wants to update the recovery through wifi, but it ends up with an error that it can't fails to get the package info. But there is no option to do a factory reset (I've put the MM update.app file in sdcard/dload folder).
Any ideas what else I can do to recover the phone?

Ok, did not expect to do that again, but I did it.
What's the next step? flash a nougat recovery? flash a oem recovery?
Fastboot now says:
Error!
Func NO: 11 (recovery image)
Error NO: 2 (load failed)
Looks like fastboot isn't recognized by the computer anymore after the re-unlocking of the bootloader.
Windows device management also doesn't see the device. Not even as an unknown device.... Looks like the bootloader unlock completely bricked the device.
Well.
You must change your motherboard.

Try to discharge your battery by leaving it on Fastboot mode.
Charget the batery and let it boot itself.
If it boots in the software, it will be very easy to fix. If no, then changing the motherboard is required

To be honest, nothing.
It can do two things, you can let it boot and then it says it's booting, and that's it (after the warning that the bootloader is unlocked), or I can boot into fastboot but the phone is not detected by the computer. Device manager doesn't see the device at all not even as an unknown device. Nothing. So no way to flash anything using fastboot. KI also can't get into the fastboot&repair.
So yeah, I decided to send it in for repair.
Hello hope someone can help please have been trawling forums for a week now without getting anywhere.
I was running nxt-l29c636???? tried to upgrade via app firmware finder, first two I picked just failed then I picked older one thinking I might need to go from android 6 to 7 then to 8
Now it's stuck in a loop.
The firmware I picked looked like it was installing but failed early on 1 or 2 %
I can get to erecovery - does nothing and I've tried copying update.app to SD card and holding three button method but it does nothing.
When I fastboot it and rescue mode my phone status is locked.
Anyone know how I can recover please?
Ideally just want to flash it and if so it'd be great if it was android 8
Thanks for looking

ok so I've been looking all night on internet and trying various things but it seems as my phone is locked I can't use fastboot or adb (it gives command not allowed with fast boot)
but does at least communicate with (fastboot devices)
does this mean I need to root my phone first?
How do I do this please?
unfortunatly huawei no longer support to unlock the bootloader and there is no free method to do this
there is other methods to restore your device and unlock your bootloader but it will cost you money you can try somthing like dc unlocker or you can go to the repair centers

ok so I bought DC Phoenix which is a great program and done online chat too which was very helpful and managed to flash a stock ROM. BUT when it wanted step 2 (the phone to be put in upgrade mode) wasn't sure it was going to do this for me or it wanted me to do this, but either way I cannot get the phone into upgrade mode by holding the volume up and volume down key + power
it just power cycles or keep the huawei logo on the screen and eventually gives options like factory default and wipe cache etc.
Decided to flash it in advanced mode with DC phoenix and it claims successful and doesn't ask for upgrade mode but now booting the phone gives#
Your device has failed verification and may not work properly
(1) Press power key to continue - tried and just reboots to the same
(2) Press Volume Up key up to 3 seconds to enter recovery to restore your device - does nothing
(3) Your device will stop start if there is no operation
Can still boot into Fastboot mode
I'm stuck, anyone can offer help please?
My phone is Asia firmware NXT-L29C636 so I've used stock that claims to be for that region. but I see if DC Phoenix log a mention of Build number: NXT-C900B170
Model: HUAWEI NXT-L29
Is that what DC Phoenix is detecting that's it just now?
Sooo.... I was attempting to root the lenovo m8 fhd, attempted typical magisk install. It failed. I thought I was clever, used lenovo moto smart assistant, downloaded the firmware, swapped out the downloaded boot.img for a modified one, and used the rescue function to flash it.
Well, I missed the fact that there were checksums in another file, and the device is stuck in bootloop, and won't load the modified firmware ?.
I'm attempting to flash the stock firmware with Lmsa, but it hangs at 40%. Anyone familiar with these issues? I gave up on root, functioning unrooted tab is bette than soft brick any day. Suggestions?
Yeah you can put it in Fastboot mode and flash each component individually with the firmware from lenovo rescue site via terminal (Linux) or power shell (win)

I have recovered from same boot loop and successfully rooted w magisk... I needed to flash all components... Boot, system, vendor, etc, even cache

I did exactly the same (haha, same assumptions and same bad memory). My tablet was in a very short boot loop, like 5 sec per loop. I did recover it with Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assitant. Had to do it twice but it worked.

Thanks for the responses! I actually managed to fix it. LMSA kept hanging, and if the tablet was on it went into a bootloop.
I fixed it completely on accident, by plugging it in while off, starting the firmware flash, and shortly after it started "flashing" the firmware, i pressed the power button to turn it on. from there it worked like a charm!
Has anyone been able to eliminate or properly modify the firmware hashes to successfully root this device? magisk was a no go, and the (i thought) slick sh*t i pulled soft-bricked it. Regardless, Ill take a working unbricked tablet over a brick anyday.

Yeah I had the same with LSMA recovery it froze at 40% or something
Then bootloop lol
There's a map file in the factory image that LSMA let's you download... I'm actually on my tab right now and the archive is on another computer so I can't see what its called but it's like a txt file I think maybe the only one. If you install all the parts to their respective partitions, you can get the tab back. So if you bork it again just flash manually.
I successfully rooted with magisk, but don't follow the instructions on magisk site, they'll tell you to patch the recovery.img... I did it by patching boot.img and it did work but not on the first try lol... I did it again and it worked.
My advice is definitely stay at it mate, it's doable... Without struggle there is no victory lol
