My LG G2's touchscreen is dead. Fortunately, I managed to pair phone with my BT mouse prior to it going dead. I can still operate my phone some what.
What I have not figured out is how to turn the phone off. Is there a simple trick to do that? I am trying to avoid 3rd party Apps.

keep holding pwr button for more than 10 seconds (if the LG logo shows, don't let the pwr button - keep it pressed until device shuts off completely)

My power button gradually died over a week after having the phone since release. I took it all apart and let the power button and the little thing attached to it soak in pure alcohol and alcoholed the parts near the power button, it still doesn't work.
Everything else works however, screen starts charging when I plug it in,etc. Is there any way to turn on the Nexus 4 without the power button so I can use it again?
Thank you
just short the 2 golden contacts in the mobo(its what power button does '-') till it turns on
is anybody knows why when i press the recent button the act is very slow with delay????
i check its like this in all note anyway to make it respond quicker?
If you turn your phone in landscape mode it will be faster .Just a little tip for now until Samsung fix it !

Looks like my phone is Hardbricked. It won't turn on, boot in fastboot or even in recovery. It looks like it's dead. Is there any way to fix that "hardbrick" or is my phone useless now? :crying:

My phone is brick, because i turned off it on 12% and it won't turn on again. Red Led after connect <broken> original cable. In a few days, new cable will come to me and I'll try to reanimation my phone. But on Le forum or bug report told, that bricked phone woke up after connect original cable and original charger only <tried few another> (Blitzwolf comes to me). How is your problem? Did you read about it?
Original cable is crap.try another good cable.it should work

Holding the power button and volume down buttons down, while holding the proximity sensor directly under a very bright light helped me.
