its 2020 !.
my brother Phone kept in drawer for long time now .
i have followed this forum trying to find a solution to this matter !
until now couldn't find any !
Recovery Broken .
Fast-boot mode is the only thing Accessible ! .
i have tried to contact the company by e-mail 3 times , no response , i even tried FB , Tweeter , same !
i wonder if they really have break'ed our phones throw this OTA , why thy don't fix them ! .
i live in QATAR , No Service centre and nothing ! .
if any one have any idea please share with me , or guide me to fix this phone .

You're not going to like this, but the only thing that can save that device is a Firehouse methods (something Essential never released too the public, not has been reversed engineered successfully).
As too them sending our an ota to Brock the device, I highly doubt they did as they'd be sued into Oblivion with both local and international lawsuits. The main thing that this tends to happen after is someone flashing even a custom kernel and recovery then locking the bootloader again, essentially bricking the device

firehose is an emergency low level reprogrammer.
i'll keep this post alive .. maybe mabye one day

Hello !
I post this here, because I don't think I'll find any solution using software method.
I flashed my rooted honor 7 PLK-L01 with a possibly wrong firmware ( UPDATE 170, originally for plk-l01?!) and it won't boot at all now.
I just get a vibration while pressing voldown+volup+start for 15 secs, but it won't get recognized by usb, even after pulling out the batterie manually.
After some research I've foud that my bootloader/preloader is dead, and the only ways would be using a copper wire to connect two pins, or to use a JTAG tester.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to recognize the pins, how it works, how to flash a rom with that.... and I can't find this informations for my phone, and I'm really a newbie in phone hardware.
For information, I got all we need for phone repairing, and I've heard somewhere that we can make a JTAG with an arduino.
Do someone could help me ? I am a bit lost, and I really want to get my phone back to life x(

Hello, I come from France and I've the same problem, my phone was rooted and I did an update from EMUI and ,unfortunately, my phone has been bricked. There is just a vibration when I press On + down volume. I also saw many JTAG issues for many Huawei phones but not for the Honor 7(PLK-L01). Maybe some developers are working on JTAG for this phone (or not). The idea is to find the famous Golden boot point and short this point to ground (GND). I tried to do this but I didn't succeed...

Hello man, post here your complete firmware, you find it in settings, phone info ( ex. VNS-L31C02B405 , VNS-L21C55B410 , etc...)

Hi, sorry, I meant unlocking to any network. And I updated it to latest software version when connected to wifi. Ive sorted it now. Cheers for responce anyway. Im just using this while I send my xz to sony for repair. Microphone has broken. Even though fully refurbished not long ago when sent it in for charging port repairing and sony customer service is terrible. Wont be buying sony again. Looking at getting the huawei p20 pro next

sorry I expressed myself incorrectly, I did not want to know your stuff, I was just trying to figure out what was wrong with the updates of your branded version. Anyway, you need a rebrand.
I think changing to the European version no brand (C432) is the best choice.
There are several guides, in which you will also find the files used for conversions.
You only know if you have a mono or dual SIM device, so you need OEMinfo and firmware version for your SS or DS phone.
Follow step by step the guide you choose, I suggest you read at least twice (three is better) the guides....
Here I place only a couple of guides (slightly different for how they do their job) taken randomly, but there are others, just use 'search' in the p9 lite's threads ...

As u know we have lots of models they are non-rootable ....after sending message to LGE and ... That was no response and today i cant send them any messages bcs of the company stoped selling phones and warranty the phones in my country....
Soi decided to start unlock my bootloader my self i c some adb fastboots on google and some methodes about unlocking but i dont know wich one can help me ...

I am sorry if i have opened the thread in the wrong place. I am having a serious problem with my S8+ and im starting feel like it became a trash anymore. So i bought this phone in France as i live here. I went to Turkey for my work for 6 months and i had to change the imei number in illegal way to use my phone there. They rooted my phone and somehow put a new imei into it in order to have connection. After i am back to France i tried to flash a stock rom and it was successful but i relized soon after that i have no network and whenever i try to get some it keeps giving me an error " Error while searching for network " . I check my imei number with *#06# and i have an imei number but it is different than my original imei number which is written in the box. Did i lose my Imei or what? I check EFS file, it is there. No one in France is able to fix it and since i have a crack on the screen , it voids the warranty , so no Samsung option , as well . I would deeply appreciate if someone could help me with this problem.

Not gonna find much help on here mate. Not with the imei being changed. We're don't really discuss things like that in xda. But I can tell you. They didn't change the imei with root. It's cert based. Which means they totally rewrote it and new cert for the device.

is your IMEI missing as well? i replied to your other post, and i firmly believe that if you flash the correct FW from here https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/sm-g950f/SAM/#SM-G950F youll be fine

So the problem is in the DocumentUI.apk it self i don't know where is the problem exactly with it, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and a lot of times doesn't work. Any help how to solve this prob.
And my phone is huawei p9lite model 2016 and not rooted.

Hi,
I don't really know what the best way could be
to fix this behavior, but if I were you I would start
with making a backup of all my stuff and doing
a factory reset.
If that won't fix, I'd eventually re-flash the current firmware
or I would roll back to A6 and then re-upgrade to A7 ...

And yeah i was thinking of that too but its a hard process for me with the usb data not working its hard
I need at least a 16gb sd memory card then do a full backup
And i was thinking of another solution is to get my usb port fixed and then , get my device rooted and then unistall the system documentsUI and install another one and iam not too sure if that would fix the problem. But i have high hopes.
