WiFi Stuck Off - Android Head-Units

Hi guys, I have a problem with my new Android car stereo, you cannot activate the wifi, unfortunately I only have this information on what can depend on it? In addition to releasing a software update that has not solved the problem, the manufacturer cannot indicate other solutions.

Bluetooth connectivity with car crashes Dialer/Bluetooth on phone call (AOSP)

Hey guys,
I recently picked up an Axon 7, wanting a device that can run AOSP ROMs. Everything is great, except for one major issue I'm having:
When I pair my car stereo to my phone via Bluetooth, it doesn't show any phone info (battery, signal), and when I make a phone call, it goes through the phone itself, the dialer freezes/crashes, and Bluetooth gets stuck until I force reboot. Media audio plays fine. When I go into Bluetooth, it switches between "Connected (no phone audio)" and "Connected", even though phone audio is turned on.
However, using my BT headset (LG HBS750/Tone Pro), I have absolutely no issues. I can make phone calls and play media just fine.
I tested this out on both LineageOS and AOSCP. My car is a 2016 Nissan Versa SV (with a stock Nissan stereo, supports bluetooth streaming audio). I know this isn't a problem with the stereo, it worked just fine with my Samsung Galaxy S6.
Any help is appreciated!

I'm so confused.
I just even tried completely factory resetting my stereo to default settings, and it's still not working. When I try to hit the handsfree phone button, it just says "Attempting to connect to your phone, please wait" followed by "No phone found". ...then it goes back to playing bluetooth media through the phone that it can't find.
EDIT: I'm also seeing that people on other phones with LineageOS 14.1 are having issues like this. Maybe it's an AOSP issue?

Sadly, haven't really found any solution to this yet. I've noticed that people with different phones on LineageOS started mentioning issues that sound like this one, so I'm going to try to see if I can file a bug report.
I "fixed" this by switching to Pure Nexus.
I have the same issue on LOS and RR, Stock B04 works fine
This is in basically every current model BMW

Try Pure Nexus or another AOSP-based (not LineageOS-based) ROM. I've been running Pure Nexus for a little over 2 weeks now with no car connectivity issues -- all works as it should. A lot of people running LineageOS on other devices are also reporting this issue.

Xiaomi Mi A1 Bluetooth not displaying status of the music

When I pair my Mi A1 with my car via Bluetooth and play music, my car won't display status information of the music (title, artist, album ...). This is definitely Mi A1's problem because my Nexus 5X has no issues at all with the same music APP. And I've tried different music APPs on Mi A1 and they behaved all the same.
After some google and I found that it requires the Bluetooth to support AVRCP profile (version 1.3 and above) in order to show the music information. And some old Bluetooth chips do not support it, like Qualcomm CSR8610 for example.
And I was wondering if this is a common problem? If so, is this a software bug that we can hope Xiaomi could fix it in the future patches, or that the hardware simply doesn't support it and I should give up the hope.
------------Update---------------
Just upgraded to Android 8 and the problem is solved!!
It works perfectly with my pioneer head unit. Shows all the artist, song, etc info.

Hello,
I have exactly the same issue with my VW Scirocco from 2011.
It was working perfectly with with MI5.
Is there any official way to submit those kind of issues to XIAOMI ?

XIAOMI does have an official forum, but I don't how responsive it is. I have used the phone's built-in feedback app to submit the issue.

Issues with car Bluetooth and Android Pie

After updating to Pie, I can't control music playback from my car and I don't see any info on the screen (track title, album, etc.). Sound plays through the car stereo, but I have to use the playback controls on the phone which is annoying and dangerous.
Has anyone else seen this issue with the Pie update?
Enviado desde mi Mi A1 mediante Tapatalk
Yes, me too, I can't control media from my bluetooth earphones.... It was ok in pie 10.0.2.0 but it was broken when I updated to 10.0.3.0...
For anyone also having this problem, in Developer Options you can select the AVRCP version used to control music playback via Bluetooth. In my case, AVRCP 1.3 works like a charm. This may also fix issues with Bluetooth speakers with playback controls.

Yes, same here.
Something with bluetooth is broken in Pie update. Car audio doesnt allow to change track. My smartwatch keeps disconnecting inspite of disabling battery assistant and saver for that app (Garmin Connect).
I used to test some custom Pie roms and havent observed such bugs there. Hopefully next update will fix that

How did you even discover that? I changed from 1.6 to 1.3 as you said, rebooted my phone and my media controls buttons work again, cheers! :highfive:
I'm experiencing another issue:
After Pie update, i have to re-pair my phone every single time with my Pioneer bluetooth radio unit. I tried to clear BT Devices Memory on the unit and did the same on the phone without success...
Everything was fine in last Oreo build... Any suggestion?

Indeed, I've bought one and can't make it work with Android Auto on my car. Previously have a Oneplus 3 which worked flawlessly with the very same cable and very same car...
When I plug my phone via the USB of my car, I got a really quick black flash on the phone's screen then the car's screen show something like "Please re-plug your phone or the is it's compatible".
I've post on several places and contact the chat support, they asked me to email us the error message.
Doesnt work for me also.
Btw wrong kategorie for this thread.
What is your cars ? Will try it on mazda 2 android auto in few days and report ..
Doesn't do anything with my Audi Q3 (2019). My old Poco F1 worked flawless. Sent a mail to global support.
Mi 9T Android auto
Yeah doesn't work for me , 2017 Corsa. Tried different cables, enabling developer mode and install via USB etc, it'll transfer files and that's it.
Had the same issue on meizu 16th, did you try to reboot phone while usb is plugged?

Android auto
I tried restarting the phone whilst it was connected via the usb and it made no difference
the USB connection sharing is obsolete, even with my drone fimi xs it does not work, and from what I understand they (xiaomi) do not care completely, can we complain about hidden screw ? because it's good what it is
Hi everyone, it's Mi Community Spain MIUI Moderator. I've sent a report about this issue to MIUI developers since lots of users complaint about this issue in Spain. I hope you can get it fixed soon.

Thanks, hope it will be fixed since this is an global issue. So far to my knowledge nobody can use Android Auto with the Mi9T / K20 pro
Any news?
new version update and no android auto... really?
Guys in the update menu in the settings leave a bug report. Let's try to get their attention. If enough people cry about the same bug then maybe they will take it as a priority.
Same problem for me. my car is a VW Tiguan
Just tried on xiaomi.eu 10.3.12 unfortunately Android Auto still not working
Maruti ciaz, redmi k20, android auto not working
