A510F couldn't exit from Download Mode - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

As a said in the title my phone wasn't booting so i tried to flash with odin. I downloaded firmware file (A510FXXU8CSK2_A510FOJV8CSD1_A510FXXU8CSK2_HOME.tar.md5) SamFirm and Flashed with Odin. I tried different vesions of Odin, flashing was successful always but my phone never booted, I never see a samsung logo. I tried to enter recovery mode with Power, Volume Up, Home buttons but I couldn't enter.
What should I do? Thanks for helps.
Edit: Flashed "COMBINATION_FAC_FA51_A510FDXXU8ASE1_FAC_CL9213193_QB23999545_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar.md5" and a custom patch. Now I can use my phone with all functions and updated to Android 7.

[Q] n900w8 Won't boot into recovery mode

A few months ago I rooted my N900w8, installed custom recovery (cwm), and flashed Android L. Today I tried to update the recovery, planning on updating the ROM as well. But now no custom recovery works at all, even the one I had running before. When trying to boot into recovery it says booting recovery... like it should, and then the screen just goes blank, then the phone restarts. Sometimes getting stuck in a bootloop trying to boot to recovery, but usually just regularly booting and boots normally to Android L. So now I am unable to update my ROM because not a single custom recovery has worked and therefore I cant flash the .img files. Please Help!

I had the same issue except when I try to load recovery it would "forward" itself to download mode.
This may work for you, try re-flashing the latest CWM update with Odin. Place your phone in download mode by powering it off and holding Volume Down + Home + Power. Press volume up to proceed.
1. Download and extract
2. Run Odin as Administrator (Download if you don't have already)
3. Select CMW file from your download folder and place it in the "AP" section.
4. Start
When finished, Reboot holding Volume UP + Menu + Power Button. Vola!
Let me know if this works for you.

Yeah depending on which recovery I flash it'll either forward to download mode, get stuck in a boot loop trying to start recovery, or restart and load the ROM.
Unfortunately it still isn't working :/ I used the tool from this page (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446269) to convert the .img to a flashable odin file. Used the proper Canadian touch recovery (also tried recovery without touch) from this page (https://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager) and no luck. Tried to enter recovery mode, it says entering recovery mode, goes black for a few seconds, vibrates then restarts the phone in regular boot mode :/ Any more idea's?
Do I need to be flashing a recovery that supports Android 5.0.2 for it to work? Im so puzzled.
YES!! Finally I was able to get a TWRP 2.8.5.0 working. Downloaded latest version from the main TWRP site and flashed using ODIN, did not use the converting tool above, downloaded the TWRP as a .tar flashable file from their site. Thanks for the help!
Do I need to close this thread or anything? This is my first time posting on xda

Congratulations on solving your own problem! ^_^
I just figured to share my part when i experienced the same issue. I feel like it has somehow corrupt itself after it finished flashing which results in an empty directory for the recovery mode.

G900F stuck in Odin mode

Hi, I hope that someone can help me revive my S5. I was on resurrectionremix rom but decided to see what pure N5 rom was like. I asked up my rom then done the normal procedures & installed the N5 rom which booted up fine, after playing around with it for a Shor while I decided that I prefer resurrectionremix so I booted into twrp recovery, factory wiped as i have done many times in the past, when it had finished I rebooted but I stead of booting into life I was confronted with 'Downloading,... Do not turn off target' see attached picture & now I am unable to boot up. I have removed the battery and sim for 5 mins but nothing. If this has been posted before please could you direct me to it. Thankyou in advance
Did you restore your backup?
Flash TWRP again
Yes, tried flashing twrp recovery with Odin but still goes to the same. Trying to download the stock firmware from Samsonite but it keeps failing

Use samfirm tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
Just enter SM-G900F and BTU in the top left panels, and tick automatic for the rest
Then check the "Automatically decrypt" on the right, and hit download
When you flash TWRP with ODIN, flash TWRP 3.0.0.0, and uncheck "Auto reboot" in ODIN
Once it completes the flash, disconnect USB and pull the battery to power off, then replace battery and immediately boot into recovery with Volume Up & Home & Power
Thanks for your help, appreciated

Galaxy A5 (A500FU) Wont Boot into OS, Recovery or Download Mode - Failed Odin Flash

Hopefully Somebody can help.
My Galaxy A5 had Ressurection remix custom rom on it for a little over a year. Yesterday I decided I wanted to go back to stock firmware, I flashed the 4.4.4 stock firmware through odin and all was fine.
Then when I tried to OTA update to 6.0.1 it wasn't available so I figured I could go the odin route. So i downloaded the 6.0.1 firmware for my version, and went to flash it with odin. The flash failed, i thought no big deal. At this point the phone was still in download mode. About 30 seconds after the flash failed, i unplugged the USB cable. I figured 30 seconds would be enough time for odin to finish anything it needed to do.
Once I unplugged it download mode was still on (Even though I had auto reboot ticked in odin). I tried to restart the phone but it wouldn't boot into the OS.
Currently it wont boot into download mode, the OS or recovery.
I've tried loads of button combinations and tried connecting it to odin again, but neither odin, or my pc will recognise the phone.
Anybody have any suggestions?
If i hold down the power button for 10 seconds the phone vibrates, that's the only bit of life in it.

S5 G900I Recovery Bootloop - Cannot get into any recovery mode?

Hi All,
Got a S5 G900I here that's doing my head in! Stuck in the infamous bootloop at the Samsung logo.
I have been a long time reader of these forums and have prior experience from flashing Samsung phones but this one is driving me mad!
I can put the phone into Download mode without an issue, phone is detected in Odin and I can flash any firmware I try to it (Have tried original 4.4.2 , 5.0 and latest 6.0.1 firmwares from SamMobile). Odin goes through the entire process, reports as "Pass" but then the device goes straight back into the reboot loop and will never fully boot up.
I can also use Odin to push TWRP / CWM / PhilzTouch recoveries, however the device will never boot into the recovery partition. I get the blue "Recovery Booting" message briefly, then the device bootloops again.
Does anyone have any further suggestions to try and get this phone operational again?
I have tried multiple versions of Odin, multiple firmware versions, different computers, different USB cables, different USB ports etc.
I look forward to hearing back from you
Try this :
1. Make sure flash latest recovery with latest ODIN version. Check the official website.
2. Do not let your phone restart after flash recovery with ODIN. Un-check auto reboot on option tab in ODIN. After PASS flash recovery disconnect USB cable then ummm ... I do not know what about your phone .. Mine G900D, I just just pull the battery then I plug it again lol ..: D
3. It should be able to get into recovery after that. If not, it means the recovery type does not match your phone.

Have tried latest stock recovery and latest TWRP recovery using latest ODIN v3.13.1 as well as ODIN v3.09 and v3.10 - No difference whether I uncheck or check auto reboot either
Phone still stuck in a constant reboot loop and never gets to recovery

It is important to turn off the phone right after flash recovery on the download screen. I mean really off rather than reboot. unplug the battery do not turn off with the power button. Because when rebooted, recovery will automatically return to stock .. so the recovery you just installed will be erased again. if stock recovery inside is broken you will get bootloop. if it is done and still can not enter recovery .. huum .. I am afraid if it's a hardware problem .. because it's easier to find a suitable recovery than its firmware. if recovery can not be in flash .... it's a long way to go ..
By the way, sorry for ask .. you release the power button when it says "recovery booting" with blue text.. right ..? while continuing to hold the volume up..?

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes when I am booting into recovery mode and can see the blue text "Recovery Booting" in the corner of the screen I let go of the power button - device still boot loops.
Have flashed recovery then removed battery - still cannot get it into recovery.
I have seen some Samsungs have hardware issues with their NAND chips but in these cases there are a lot of errors relating to NAND displayed on the screen when I've seen it be a hardware issue. None of these appear on this phone - convinced it has something to do with software.
I found these threads - exactly the same issue as me, and at the end it says they fixed it by flashing a specific bootloader however I have a G900I and the phone in this thread was a G900F

Have tried countless different versions of ODIN / recovery / stock firmware , including the "service firmware with the separate files G900IDVU1BOE1_CL4826466_QB4839040_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT"

Samsung S8 is stuck on start logo after flashing

Hi there. I know this question has been posted but none of the solutions is working for me.
I flashed official ROM using Odin on my S8 950FD. The process was smooth, the phone rebooted, installed update (blue screen), erased, rebooted again and then stuck on logo. I waited for a long time, then pressed Power + Vol down buttons. As soon as it turned off, I pressed Power + Bixby + Vol up. I was in stock recovery. Wiped cache and data, rebooted again, same result.
I went to download mode again, my KG state was showing Prenormal. I tried flashing TWRP, OFRP recoveries but of course got Official Binaries blah blah error. I tried flashing stock firmware again and again but no luck. All I can see on my phone is either Samsung Galaxy S8 or I can go to recovery or download mode. The phone will never boot.
I tried Miracle Box 2.82 cracked version as well, but still no luck, it shows PACKET SIZE TOO BIG or something like that.
Any chance I can get my phone working and alive again??

What you want to do is flash full latest stock firmware for G950F (yes even tho you have fd, they are same exact device and share fw) with CSC and not HOME_CSC together with AP, BL and CP files, you can find latest firmware on samfw.com they dont have download speed limit or you can use tools that can be found here on xda for downloading samsungs latest fw.
using CSC will format device and return it to factory state
I have already done that, grabbed firmwarre from SamFW G950FXXUCDVG4 as this was what written in my Settings, VG4. I flashed AP, CP, BL and CSC using Odin in my windows and when it didn't work, did it from JOdin3 from my Mac. Nothing changed after several tries.
Any help? Did I trip the knox? The last time it happened to me, I flashed TWRP recovery and wiped/repaired file system and it worked. This time, I am unable to install unofficial binaries.
Update: I downloaded combination fw and flashed it but no luck. One thing I observed in stock recovery that it says DM-VERITY VERIFICATION FAILED. Could this be the issue? How to resolve this?
