Hey guys, this forum is great and I very much appreciate it.
I flashed Pixel Experience a while ago, and everything works perfectly, it's much smoother and it performs better than MIUI, also the gcam works better, I can use it with more than 20 capes of HDR and the image processes fast, with MIUI I had it on 15 capes and it would take a lot of time, sometimes it would crash and I'd lose my shot, but well that's not why I'm posting,
I wanted to ask if you PE users also have 19GB occupied by system files or is it just me? I have the 32 GB version so that leaves me with only 13GB of internal storage to use, I don't know, it doesn't look right, maybe it's some bug making the system take a lot of space.
Please tell me if you know something about it and thanks a lot!

Hi everyone.
Not only me but, I think, many of you are attracted by how Energy ROM looks like. But the problems with memory do not allow to most of the users to have it for much time on our diamonds. That is why I want to ask the members of this forum to attach here files and cab's that will help to get an appearance of Energy Rom for the original manila 2.5. Thanks in advance
(In this topic you can see screenshots in the second post). This looks really nice and I want to have a similar look of Sense UI (on another rom)

Yeah let's not... I dont appreciate people doing this to my ROM. Thanks. If you want the EnergyROM experience.. download the EnergyROM and do your own RAM tweaks if it bothers you that much. Lots of people use it, as I cook it, so it can't be THAT bad.
but what is the problem with posting some themes and visual modifications?
he's not asking for someone to modify your ROM.
Im using energy since July 09 and I have to admit that Im moving to a much lighter ROM.
The "EnergyROM experience" ends with other ROM or in the moment that you have to deal with ram cleaners, but thats not the point.
I want a clean ROM with the eyecandy effect that you achieve.
I really appretiate your work! Thanks.
So, I am not rom-bilder and I am not going to use yours skin in the mercenary purposes. All I need is your eyecandy skin for htc sense and nothing else. Just for me. I respect your work and all your roms, but unfortunately there are some reasons why I can not use them.

Anyhow, let's all respect NRGZ28's great work and not copy stuff if the man doesn't want that.
My suggestion: Set the pagepool for the energy rom u like to 6 or 8. I use 8, don't notice any performance loss and hardly have to clean ram. (I don't use Sense)
I posted this thread just because i am kinda disappointed with HD2 rom selection, as i am hardcore rom flasher. Don't get me wrong, i like all chefs and i'm not taking sides. If you don't like the thread don't flame me, but u can report it to be deleted if you wish. Otherwise read on
As comparison i took roms of my previous phone, Samsung Omnia. If you look at their thread http://www.modaco.com/category/368/i900-general-omnia-rom-discussion/ you can well enough see that after 2.5 years rom development is still kicking!
Every chef shows alot of dedication to rom, they build up their own interfaces, new looks etc. Every rom is unique, and i'm afraid we don't have this with HD2.
And yes, i know about dinik, but if there are more people using it then stock, it isn't as unique, don't u think...
In short summary, i'd just want to see some more young enthusiastic chefs (like sanjeev, maybe) so not every rom thread goes: ...sense 2016 CFC'd..GTX/Black..dinik iconset...
you can also post your experience or prove me wrong sorry to waste 3min of your life..
edit: will try to post some pictures to prove my point

Maybe you make your own ROM to share with us and give us a better choice?
Not sure i entireley agree with you.
Most chefs actually think about the user more than you probably think. So by providing a really fast, yet stock looking rom, you, the user, can add your own customisations that you deem necessary.
However, when you are talking about everybody using the same customisations, it's also down to the user. For example, im sure many of you use Dinik's icons/mods etc. So if it was built into the rom, it would be ready out of the box. No need to install all of the mods over and over again.
I dont think they're not being innovative, but infact providing what you need. I would be gutted if i spent a hell of a lot of time making a whole theme for my phone, only to realise people complain about it or just install other mods over it.

actually, i tried, but it turned out to be crap xD slow and laggy.
again, i'm not dissin' anyone, just saying! i like rom chefs a lot, and i know how much job gets into making a proper rom-as i said i tried and failed miserbly.
and i didn't mention i heavily customize almost every rom i try, unless it has something new to try. It's nice to build up your own config, but hey, sometimes it feels really nice to see someone stand out (as dinik did in beginning, and then GTX -and now mostly everyone likes these)
well i better shut up now i guess
The Perfect CM9 bootanimation for LG P500 or other MDPI phones(in my perspective )
I know there has been a lot of ports of this animation already on this forum, and I do appreciate their work very much. But I'd like to make it looks PERFECT on LG-P500 so I did some modifications to it last week. I didn't have time until now to share to you my work.
Modified from here. Credits are given to the original author(s).
What makes it different from other mdpi ports of this bootanimation?
It is subtly cropped (logo centered, no oval/distorted logo etc.)
It is in PNG format with minimum quality loss
(In my eyes) It is optimized with some unnecessary frames deleted so it runs as smooth as the CM7 one.
It takes up only about 3.12MB of space!
Animated GIF preview (may differ in appearance with the real one) (due to network speed it may appears sluggish, but this is not the case for my bootanimation)

Comments and suggestions are welcome. Please press the "thanks" button if you like it.
Please give credit if you use this elsewhere, but feel free to do so! I'd love to hear about it as well.

Good effort but my battery says 'Oh please don't use this, it will kill me!'
Yes, but in my opinion a bootanimation lasting for just 1 minute cannot do much harm to your battery.
Anyway thanks for your opinion.
Thank you soo much.
I tried the original one and seemed very sloppy. This one is better. Still lags a bit on the looping part for the first seconds but i'm rather happy with it. Thank you and good job.
Hella badass thanks
Sent from...wait gotta remember
How to apply
Great stuff! Nicely done.
Copy from your download folder into \system\media. Do take a backup of the existing bootanimation.zip file to be safe or if you want to revert back.
Wow looks awesome! I like the part when it explodes and says Cyanogen This is probably my favorite at the moment. Thanks.
I just got my 64GB S6 and here are the benchmarks for my fresh S6 after restoring my backup and installing the T-mobile software update that has already came out. I used A1 SD Bench to test these speeds.
I am super impressed, with these speeds, I really don't mind no micro SD slot. :good:

Damn those are some nice numbers! Can't wait to pick up one of these bad boys next week!
I know you get faster file movement (copying etc..), booting time along with faster programs.. but, how does this exactly affect the overall performance?

The overall effect is that everything your doing is done faster, smoother, with no hesitation. So just makes the overall experience fluid. I especially notice this speed when installing an apk. Smaller programs you hit the install button and in a blink its done, literally a blink.

You pretty much answered your own question.
Every action performed on a device requires a read, write, or both (but mostly read). The faster that occurs, the faster and smoother the performance will be.
So while it'll help with the actual "movement" of files, it also speeds up access times and the overall interactions between the device's components.
It's all about removing bottlenecks from hindering the device from doing its job.
Hi,
I have the Galaxy S4 I9500 (Israeli version) and been having battery issues since the upgrade (a year ago? for Android 5).
So I tried a few ROMs: the stock Rom of 4.4.2, Ozcan, Phoenix,
now i have the ResurrectionRemix with Android 5.1.1 , but still not getting more than 6 hours of average use (no games, no videos, just avergae apps use: Whatsapp, Facebook, Grindr, Instagram, Snapchat - nothing that justifies a charger after 6 hours).
I'm attaching my battery info pics, seems like the kernel is the main battery drainer, but i'm not sure if i need another ROM or a kernel and which one?
Pics in this link: jalbum.net/en/browse/user/album/1745248 (or below...)
Please help me, i just want the maximum battery life, i don't care about looks, cool stuff or anything, just best battery i can get.
thank you.

It's kinda hard to decipher anything when everything is in your language.
Anyway, this sounds a lot like the battery itself has a problem. I suggest trying another battery.
It's impossible that 3 completely different ROMs have the same issue.
And that the problems started with android 5 is just a coincidence.

Thank you, but i have another battery, the same problems... maybe these ROMs are not that good, which ROM is the best?

There is no best. This is subjective, as every person has other opinions and needs.
And what does average use mean?
as i wrote... average use (no games, no videos, just avergae apps use: Whatsapp, Facebook, Grindr, Instagram, Snapchat - nothing that justifies a charger after 6 hours).
Do you know what are the best ROMs i should try?
thank you.
