Wear os keyboard - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I was messing arround with some keyboards on my ticwatch pro 4g and accidentally installed gboard, which replaced the wear os keyboard, tried uninstalling it and reinstalling apkmirror version with no luck.
I am rooted with TWRP, can someone help me get the keyboard back?
I was trying to get lithuanian language on wear os keyboard, since it is not supported on any wear os keyboard.

No need anymore, using a custom rom, everything seems to work fine, anyway I'm not sure if there is a way to go back to stock

Couple questions about Cynogen and settings.

Hi, I am currently running Cynogen 4.0.4 on my rooted Mytouch 3g. I used the one-click method to root it. I also downloaded the 4.1.11.1 to my computer just incase. Do you guys think I should go to the 4.1? Is is the same? How do I upgrade and will I lose all of my apps if I upgrade?
I was also considering to just go back to stock because Cynogen got stopped. Will Cynogen ever be making new Roms? If not should I be going back to stock because I just want to have the newest features and updates but still have a fast phone.
Just one more question now about settings, I have the Hero keyboard but I activated the touch vibration when I type and now I want to disable it. Everytime I disable it I start typing and it comes back. How can I fix this? Thank you.
You can't upgrade to Cyan 4.1 at the moment as he has taken his downloads offline because of the legal dispute with Google.
I would recommend RogersRom 1.5 (see my signature) if you want a fast rom with Cyan's kernel, compcache, betterbrower etc. personally I would not go back to stock as the mods made by the devs here at xda are worth keeping.
Not sure about your keyboard vibrating ... have you enabled haptic feedback in Spare Parts? You might need to turn it off in there as well as in the touch input settings.
Haptic feedback is DISABLED so I don't know what the problem is. I will just uninstall and reinsatll the hero keyboard. And just to be sure Cynogen is done completely with roms? If so are there any other good roms besides Rogers that are not hero. And how do you install a new rom on top of the Cynogen one I have? Thanks for you help.
to change roms just wipe and flash over it. as for Cyanogen I don't think he's stopping anytime soon. check out his website..cyanogenmod.com
read his updates,
he's still in full force.
There are several ways to get the cyanogen roms =P... Just do some search =P...

push the far right button on your phone and type "Cyanogen"
install cyanogen updater for the market and it still works
Install cyanogen updater from the market and it still upload the new roms if you want cyanogen 4.1.11.1 you will have to change in the setting to display experimental roms he has a new one out but it not in cyanogen update i just did this and all my apps wallpaper and contacts are still there

any fully functional stock kb roms?

I know the 2.01 and stuff has stock keyboard for android but i need full BT and camera so im guessing only 1.5 at the moment but im looking for a rom or a way to get the stock android kb on my phone, even though their are many stock roms, all have sense ui kb.

That does not give you the stock android keyboard, that just gives you no keyboard at all. I have tried this quite a few times, but it doesn't install correctly for me.
Make sure touch input is disabled

[Q] Cyanogen Mod

please help. i have recently installed a cyanogen rom onto my htc hero and it works lovely. the only problem is there is no app market and im not sure how to get it. is there anyway i can an app market app? the link i downloaded is update-cm-6.1.0-rc1=hero-signed.zip

Hello Jamie,
because of legal issues the google apps is not included in the rom. You can find a zip to flash in the official thread of that ROM, http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/11667-cyanogenmod-61-for-hero-v610-12072010/

Henrik
Reflash the rom. It comes with the market right? did you do your wipes etc? failing that, you can download a market apk i think from somewhere in 'general'. That will be the updated market anyway. I sometimes have to flash it as the older market doesnt seem to show all of my downloads...annoying when updates are avail. anyway, i'd say reflash.

[Q] Anyone made the 4.2 Keyboard work?

Hey, i've just seen the announcement about the 4.2 Keyboard which can be installed via apk or zip to all 4.0+ android devices. I had no luck however to do so. Anyone else succeeded? If so share the instructions

I just installed the APK, enabled it in the input, and switched to it, voila. I personally didn't like it. I'm a HUGE swype fan though lol
works fine here but not using it lol

I resolved my issue ... For anyone who is encountering problems here's my steps i did for troubleshooting:
Install another keyboard like swiftkey
select swiftkey as input method
delete old latinimegoogle_signed.apk ( android keyboard ) via titanium backup
preferably reboot
install newer keyboard from original forum thread ( can be found though announcement on main xda page
*Maybe backup old keyboard if trouble occur.

First off, wrong section. Second, is your Tab rooted? I imagine it would be easy to find the Samsung keyboard apk in system/app using a root explorer.
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
