New to the XDA forum, not new to Android!
I will cut to the chase and explain really fast what I need help with.
I have been using the Imperium ROM 4.4.2 KK for a few weeks now and I love it.
But as of a few days ago, Update 4.0 (up from 3.6) was released, and my phone just won't stop spamming me with "upgrade to the latest version 4.0!" . However, as far as I can tell, I have to re-download the 4.0 ROM and flash my phone entirely over again.
So, TL;DR:
I am using the Galaxy S4 Imperium 4.4.2 ROM 3.6 and I want to;
a)Upgrade to 4.0 without re-flashing my and having to re-install all apps, backup photos etc.
b)Turn off the spam notifications about updating.

I have the same problem i was using 6.0 and now 7.0 is out can i just perform ota update or do i have to donwload the rom and flash it.....what about my apps installed in 6.0 can i just apply update from sd in recovery...i dont want to reinstall all those apps again.plz help
Guys come on. These are really basic questions.
- If you are not prepared to wipe everything from time to time, then you should stay away from custom roms.
- You can just try it yourself if it works. Make a backup and flash away. If you got problems, fully wipe and restore your backup.

Hello, I managed to install Imperium Rom on to my phone but when I try to sync my phone with my samsung account it says sync error and also when I try to restore my phone with my samsung account it says could not connect to server but now I have gone back to my stock rom everything is fine. do you know what the problem could be?

So, i was using custom rom for a while on my phone and i decided to get back to stock so i can sell my phone later.
Problem is, it is not receiving OTA updates anymore!
I've installed V8.1.3.0.LHJMIDI from here: http://en.miui.com/download-261.html and i know there is a MIUI v8.2 update for my redmi 2 prime, but i can't find it anymore over OTA like before.
Can anyone explain what's wrong with this rom?

8.2 update is rolled back due to some issues.
Now, the latest version is 8.1.3.0 (which is also available on the MIUI downloads page).

I got my Mi9T on Saturday, unlock procedure should be done on the weekend. What roms are you people using, and which has the best SOT? Not sure what ROM i should be using yet. Not really a fan of MIUI.

MIUI 11. Deal with it. Whatever you try will have problems, it's upto what you're willing to sacrifice. I've decided to flash only after official support drops else yesterday's MIUI11 update is so good. Also I removed Mi Apps from Xiaomi PC suite ( don't remember exact name)
Hi,
I'm currently looking to revert back to the stock recovery and wanting to update to the latest version of miui as I was just tired of flashing again and again and I'm thinking that I will stick with miui for now as the the new miui 12 will also be released.
So if anybody would be gracious enough to share a stock recovery file It would be really helpful to me.
