Looking for a longer c to c cable that won't inhibit charge speed and preferably braided but not required. Have you guys had any luck finding cables that won't charge slowly?
I bought a baseus 9 ft one, it is braided, does quick charge well, aluminum caps
Apple 2m cable works fine with stock 25W charger.

Guys I broke my local 2amp charger.
Plase sugget a 2amp charger (2.1 will do too I think) and a USB cable (fast) which can handle a little rough handling! Length atleast 1-1.5m
I use Samsung adapter... It's quite durable
For the cable I use a extension cable with the USB cable 2.5 meters

I use the OnePlus charger along with the OnePlus cable, for an alternative, try Rock data cables as the OnePlus cables are pretty pricey.
Both cables included with the 6p are too short for my use cases. I've bought a C to USB 2 cable but I'm having trouble finding USB C cables longer than 6ft. Also I've noticed that there are plenty of issues with cables that are advertised as rated as one thing but really another
I like the one+ cables. I know they are not over 6ft but just a suggestion.....I have a USB extention cable....USB A male to USB A female that I keep in our minivan. It allows any charging cable to stretch across the entire vehicle for long trips when kids/passengers battery is low on any device. They are cheap and worth using if you are using a USB A to USB C....if it's C to C then I'm of no help to you lol
Isn't there a issue with the cable in that it's 2a vs 3a? And yeah primarily concerned with c to c to replace the one packaged with the phone

A cable is a cable, but will be rated to carry a certain amount of power with a certain amount of losses. The longer the run, the more the losses.
Longest I've been able to find are 6.6ft. Cable Matters is one that uses metric and so is a little longer than a 6ft cable. PECHAM C32 [2 Pack] 6.6ft USB 3.1 Type C Cable USB-C to USB-C Male Reversible.
What brand cable are you using to connect a usb stick to that V20?
I use Aukey from Amazon.com worked perfect on my Note 7 and work perfect on my V20.
I have a braided one from bridgegen that's like 6 feet long and a 3ish foot cable from anker, both from Amazon

Anker 6ft cable with the fast charging brick that came with my note 7.
Anker and Choetech.
I also use a Anker QC 3.0 charger. Last night I charged my phone from 6% to 100% in about an hour.

Using iorange cable about 6 ft long, great cable. got iton amazon
I LOVE these CHOETECH cables with Zinc Alloy connectors. I've tried a bunch of different cables and these are my favorite.

I bought a second hand Nexus 6p last week, without a charger. I ordered a charger and cable from amazon uk:
The charger: USB Type-C Charger, Tronsmart 27W Dual Port USB C Wall Charger for Nexus 5X/6P, S7, HTC 10, LG G5 and Other USB-C Phones and iPhone Android Device £13.55 ($17)
Cable: 'USB Type C Cable, CableCreation Super Speed Gen 2 (10Gbps) USB 3.1 Type C Male to Male Cable' which cost £11.99 ($15).
I could only get normal charging, no fast/rapid, so I ordered replacements of both as amazon prime allows free returns.
I ordered a iKits (CE/FCC Verified) 5V3A Type-C AC USB Wall Charger/Travel Charge, USB-C 15W for Macbook, Google Chromebook Pixel, Google Nexus 5X 6P & etc. Universal US AU UK EU Plug Adapter included Black, £10.99 ($14)
USB Type C Cable, CHOETECH Hi-speed USB-C to USB-C Cable 3.3ft(1m) for USB Type-C Devices Including LG G5, the new MacBook, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P. £4.99 ($6)
I tested with the original Tronsmart charger, but the new cable, the Choetech and wow, rapid/fast charging! The cable was half the price of my original choice, yet allows for greater charging speeds. I have today sent the Cable Creation cable back.
I will test the iKits charger tonight.
I find it helpful to have two chargers, especially since nothing else in my house uses USB C, and if one got stolen at work, I like to have a backup. I will keep you guys posted on the iKits.
I hope this helps anyone who needs a replacement charger for their 6P
NB: I am not sponsored, or paid, etc.. I struggled to find info on this myself and figured I can't be the only one.
update:
Both the Tronsmart and iKits charger fast/rapid charge my nexus. I returned the cable and got a cheap Tronsmart USB C cable and it works as well for fast/rapid charging.
So I now have two different brands, in my opinion affordable too, chargers and two different cheap USB C cables that all support fast charging. Very pleased.
Hope this helps!
thank you for the information, i was looking for alternative charger also.
As long as you stick with the better 3rf party stuff you will be OK. I am personally not a fan of Tronsmart, but Anker has yet to let me down.
Is there one that supports fast charge for the 6p?
I bought one of these but it doesn't fast charge ....

I don't think you can fast charge a Nexus 6P when connecting it to a computer USB port, if that's what you're trying. Needs to be connected to wall outlet or car cigarette lighter to fast charge.

No this is to plug into the mains at home. This is just the cable. I have a orzly USB C to A cable that fast charges it with my main charger but this cable doesn't fast charge.

You should contact the manufacturer through Amazon and see what they have to say or just return the cable. The description says it's compatible with the 6P but not specifically that its compatible with fast charging on the 6P. It might be worded that way intentionally.
The seller said it's my plug and not the cable but my plug works with an orzly cable

There are many similar discussions around chargers and cables in the Accessories sub-forum. Basically USBA to USBC cables are not supposed to rapid charge because they are supposed max out at 2.4A. If they do rapid charge (5V/3.0A), they lack the proper resistor and so are not compliant with the USBC standard. You can Google Benson Leung to learn more, but head over to the Accessories forum and look/post there. You may also request a Mod to move this post where you may get more answers to your original question.
