Make sure you already go to Fastboot mode. After connect your phone to your PC, you will hear connected sound from PC. Extract firmware zip and then run flashall_aft.bat until phone restart. Use drivers from ADB installer.

[Q] Device doesn't show up in adb

Ok, I'm having a problem here. I'm buzy on a ROM, and I have made something that I want to test. But when I try to access my phone via adb, it doesn't show up in adb devices. Just nothing. I reïnstalled adb, the drivers, rebooted the phone and computer, put on debugging mode, everything. The phone is showing in (windows) devices, but adb just don't recognize him. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium. And on my phone Swiftdroid M5 (with ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.1, which is working properly). Anyone knows what to do?
Anyone?

Heres my solution ^^ adb worked for me some weeks ago but now i had your problem too lol:
first uninstall all the adb drivers from:
Start>devicemanager
then get this :
http://www.junefabrics.com/bin2/LGDriver.exe
original LG drivers
and install
then plug your phone(debugging on of course)
then it will show 7 (i think) installations
5 of them will be done fast but 2 won't finish installation
so just go to devices and printer
rightclick on android sooner single adb interface and select troubleshooting( marked with a yellow triangle)
then just let is solve the error
the last of the 7 drivers wont install but thats not a problem
EDIT: make sure u know on which port u were doing this
Oh of course you should reinstall the adb drivers. Btw i'm in linux you can use linux for building rom. What are you using?

Hello, I tried all of the above but my device still doesn't get recognized. Is there any other way to fix this? Thanks.
I've been in the same situation like this before. My phone wasn't recognized by adb. I though it was a driver problem so I reinstall the driver million times but it doesn't help. I tried on many other computer with various OS as well but adb still can't recoginized it. At last I flash another ROM and adb can recognized my phone again. so the problem is the SDSL ROM
I see. Thanks for the info ^_^

[Q] Want to install recovery image

Hi guys,
I am trying over 4 hours to flash a recovery image on my gt540.
I have installed a fastboot rom via kdz updater.
Then I turn on the device in fastboot mode to install the recovery using command prompt but in this stage my pc does not recognize the phone. It says "waiting for device".
I have tried every driver I found, but I cannot make it work.
I am running windows 7 x64.
Can anybody help me? I am confused, I don't know what to do.
hmm looks like you dont have the drivers installed. im also using windows 7 x64. i got my drivers by plunging in the phone and waiting for the computer to recognize it and install the drivers from windows update. You can try rebooting the PC then change USB ports. Give each port at most 5 mins to try recognize the phone if it fails then change ports sooner or later the computer will get the drivers
the driver for fastboot is called googlee fastboot interface or something liek that, maybe you can try these http://dottech.org/android/26188/usb-adb-and-fastboot-drivers-for-windows-for-all-android-phones/
Man you are great! I was searching all day for this!
Thank you very very much!! I managed to flash a good rom!
Thanks again!

Bricked Oneplus 2 (SOLVED)

**UPDATE I have unbricked my phone and the whole time I thought it was a software issue on my phone but it was a cable, I guess my cable got broken when I bricked my phone and I thought it was a software issue but it was not the whole time**
I have a bricked device and I would appreciate your help and I have tried EVERYTHING!!
here is how my oneplus 2 got bricked, I was on stock oxygen os 3.0 and rooted and I had twrp recovery 3.0.
So I did a full wipe on my device and when I was flashing the resurrection remix rom in twrp it said "Error 7" so then I reboot my phone and I was in a bootloop with no os.
I went back to twrp and flash the rom again and it not work. So then I tryed to transfer a file through my computer to my device and twrp was not recognizing it and tryed adb sideload and same thing and even in cmd I
typed "adb devices" and it not recognize it and I have the drivers installed, the 15 second 1click adb and fastboot.
And then I went to fastboot mode and then I tried first aid kit and the qualcomm mega unbrick guide and all the methods and still my oneplus 2 is not being recognized by PC and I am using the official oneplus 2 usb type c cable.
I have tried 2 windows 10 PC and I turned driver signniture enforcement off for the qualcomm drivers and nothing in device manager
I tried 1 Windows 7 PC and same thing and nothing in device manager
And I tried a Linux Mint virtual machine and I typed adb devices and fastboot device in the terminal and it was not recognizing it even though I installed the packages
So do you think the problem might be the cable? because it is the official one. But my device charges through the cable to and the cable was working before my phone got bricked. Or is it a driver problem? What do you guys think and please help and I will really appreciate it and thank you.

If your recovery mode is TWRP.. Then goto Mount -> Data
Then your computer will show your oneplus 2.
If still its not showing then update Driver Software of phone in device manager.

I tried both mount data on and off and still no luck, I have mtp enabled in twrp. I also checked device manager and there is nothing showing up. But twrp says that my phone is charging when my phone is connected to pc. I think the problem is probably the cable because the usb end of the cable looks sort of damaged, And I tried a Type-C OTG and put a usb on that and TWRP was not recognizing it

Holy crap the cable was the problem the whole time!!! I just went to the store and bought A new 3rd party USB-C cable and I plug it in to my pc and phone and immediately the pc installed drivers and now I could transfer files to TWRP from my PC!! It was a really hot sunny day today and I walked to the store which took 30 minutes and both ways 1 hour. I am so tired right now from the walk but it was worth it since my phone will be brought to life!! I am so happy right now!!!

Oneplus 2 no OS installed

Hey guys,
Earlier today I wiped my phone while trying to update the system, but when I tried to install the update it failed. That means that I'm now sitting without an OS on my phone, only able to access TWRP Recovery and Fastboot. I've successfully installed adb drivers and all of that, but when connecting the phone to a computer ADB doesn't find any devices and device manager only sees it as an unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). I have been seaching for a couple of hours now and have not been able to find anything that works, so I'm hoping that you guys can help.
Try this

When I try to update the driver, as it says in step A-7, the only unknown device is the unknown usb device and when I try to update that one with the qc folder, it just says that Windows have determined that it is up to date?

Have you tried connecting to PC while in TWRP recovery ? You should be able to access internal storage using mtp. Then you can copy another rom & flash it.
I have tried connecting to Windows 8.1 on a Macbook Pro while in TWRP Recovery, and that's where it said it was an unknown USB device.

Any other ideas, because I do not own any other USB type C cables. The one I'm using is the one that came with the phone, but I have never had any issues with it.

Lets try installing the drivers again. If this doesn't work, then it should be a cable issue OR usb port issue. Try this on another pc.
1. Download Oneplus2 USB drivers -> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347833370
2. Before installing the drivers, Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM1MN8QZhnk
3. Install the drivers & Restart.
4. Now try either connecting to pc while in TWRP or fastboot.
you can flash factory image through fastboot

Maybe this is a bit annoying but the best solution is to buy another cable since a few weeks ago I had the same problem, bought a new cable and the problem was solved. Hope this helps
Then flash the OS through TWRP using the advanced tool that allows you to sideload files using adb.

How to enter mtp on recovery/fastboot?
I've done the same thing in the past (erase everything) , the solution that worked for me is this:
1.Always have a twrp back up on a usb stick.
2.Buy a cheap usb 2 type c to usb adaptor.
3.Enter twrp and restore the back up.
This way you do not need a pc/drivers etc.
I hope it helps.

Fastboot Not Recognized

I am not able to get Fastboot to reconginze my One Plus 6T. I have reinstalled the drivers numerous times to no avail. I have changed ports to no avail. I have change USB cables to no avail. Is anyone else having a similar problem and if so, any solution?
BTW, I am using a Windows 10 computer.
Also, I was able to install the International Version on my TMO variant One Plus 6T via the MSM tool method, so the drivers appear to be installed correctly.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Delete the drivers you have installed, boot into fastboot and have Windows automatically detect and install for you. Have you tried that? What source did you get your fastboot drivers from?

Msmdownload drivers are not the same at all, they are Qualcom drivers. Uninstall your fastboot drivers and let windows install them

Oh man, I had issues getting my 6t to connect to my PC when I first got my 6t. The answer for me was to plug my phone into a USB 2.0 port on the BACK of my PC instead of the front USB ports my PC has. Try using the back USB ports and let me know if that works for you!
Thank you all. I will try these suggestions later today and report back.
I tried the suggestions and still no success in fastboot connecting with my device. Thanks again for the suggestions.
After trying to multiple times reinstall the drivers, manually selecting "Android Bootloader Interface" did the trick for me on win10:

Issue resolved. Selected Android Bootloader Interface in Device Manager and fastboot recognized my device. Unlocked Bootloader, installed TWRP and Magisk. Root achieved.
Thank you all!!!

Thank you! I can't believe I didn't think to check that.
it is solved for me oneplus 6t not recognized in fastboot
{ solved for me } hello brother, i got this problem also my head was about to explosing, install/uninstall drivers and adb drivers also, without any success, when the device is on normal mod the adb terminal can recognize it and in fastboot mod not recognize my devie (the list empty).
i was trying to install TWRP, so i have reboot my device to fastboot mod, and i didn't think about List of devices (because it not show my device) i wrote the comand to install TWRP directly so it success to install 100%,
so no need to write : adb devices when your device is in fastboot mod, it will not show you in the list, but you can apply what you want normally
good luck

This is why I use Linux in my LOS Install Guide. You can boot Linux from a USB without installing it. Fastboot and ADB just work, without any drivers. Install TWRP, reboot and your PC will be back to windows. My guide covers installing TWRP.
Really need help. I'm going in circles and wasting a lot of time:
I'm attempting to root a OP6T A6013. Its already been unlocked.
My device is recognized when powered up as an ADB device.
But when i boot into the bootloader it isnt recognized as a fastboot device, and my laptop (Win 8.1) shows ""device malfunctioned. USB not recognized". I've also been trying to install the OP driver but I'm not sure its working correctly. But would that cause the problem with recognizing fastboot?
I've root my OP7Pro (twice, actually) and though I had some driver issues then eventually figured it out. But I never had issues with fastboot.
Any tips or direction?
Hey all , replying to share my solution to this exact problem I was having..
My OP6T (T-Mobile converted to international) was not showing in fastboot devices but showed in ADB.. after hours of searching google and XDA , I ended up just plugging my 6T into another computer and it worked! , instantly recognized my device without hassle.
So just a fyi, it could be something simple as switching USB ports or even another computer.
hopefully this helps if someone get's stuck at this point.
I had this issue with a OP8Pro... I went to Windows Update and selected View Optional Updates and found Android Bootloader Device on the list. I selected this to download, and then fastboot worked perfectly.
