I tried installing this twice on a S6 Edge, 925F, running 5.1.1. baseband version G925FXXU3C019
Used Odin 3.10.7 both times.
1st installation was using this firmware.
Second installation was using the Samobile G925FXXU3DPB8 VOD.
I am not a Vodafone user, could this be the problem?
To recover from this, I restarted the phone using power, down, home buttons.Got the error message that installation had gone wrong.
Used Odin to install stock 5.1.1 PHN. And everything was back to normal. No need to do any reinstal of apps or data.

The hidden IMG is bigger on this firmware. Literally all it means is it fails on the last file. Either reboot, delete from package or use a PIT file first all work to solve this issue.

Can you explain that?
I flash the 6.0.1 vodafone on my G925F and my phone is bricked. I can only enter on download mode. I've tried to flash even the old original 5.1.1 firmware but odin fails.. What pit file I've to download? How to use it?.
It's been 5 hours that I try to come back my phone but...nothing!
Thanks

Download the PIT file from this post.
Flash it first using the PIT tab in Odin.
Then flash the Marshmallow upgrade
There's a bunch of new firmwares on sammobile now guys!

Thank you.. I've done what u've just said.. the flash of pit goes good and it said "pass". But when I flash the 6.0.1 nothing happen.. or it fails during the nand start write or it stop in " setting connection"... I don't know what to do anymore... I've never had a problem like this...

Just flashed it to mine (UK EE but previously flashed a BTU version of 5.1.1) flashed easily with no problems at all.
From my experience, it seems that 6.0.1 gives better battery life for my S6 Edge. How about u guys ?

If your going to flash this Vodafone PB8 firmware you need the 200m pit file.
Add the firmware to odin "AP" then add the 200m pit file and flash simultaneously.

Thanks, but We a wait TWRP and Project Treble, you don't know who can help with that?
I've contacted Mike Channon from xda and he told me that we need 40 to 60 threads before we get our own forum.

Hi All, I just purchased the Samsung A20 205G and would like to know if there is a way to change the firmware to A205U (T-mobile). I have downloaded the A205U firmware and used Odin3.1.3 to upgrade the firmware but it kept on failing. The message I got is: Custom Bindary Blocked by OEM lock. I am not sure what is going on. Could someone please give me some information on how to upgrade the firmware?
Thanks,
DT
