Trying to update (Release 17 Dec 2019 ) constantly. I disabled and enabled the app didn't work. Clear cache didn't work. Restart phone many times didn't work. Therefore, other applications are not updated cause pending. I should disable chrome and Webview before update other apps. I couldn't uninstall the chrome, it's a system app and I have no root.(It's bull****, the Update all button is always active, there should be cancel all button. I can't resist Android ****s no more iOS winking to me)
Any suggestions?View attachment 4906997View attachment 4907001

You could try to update manually. Download the apps from apk mirror. Or you could try to wipe cache from play store.

Didn't help, I'm having the same issue.

for 2 days now, once in a few hours I get "android.process.acore has stopped" and all the apps stop working, any app I try to open gives me the same message.
Any ideas how to fix it?
I didn't install any new app in those days, the phone is not rooted and has the stock nexus 4 rom
There are a lot of threads with the same fc, and there isn't an universal fix. It is said it is due to an error in Google Apps. Have u flash any Google apps package recently?
Try deleting all google apps data. If that doesn't work, go to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache. If that doesn't work reflash your rom.

That's it. Go to Settings/Apps/All and clear data and cache (will tell u how) of the following apps:
- Phone
- Settings
- Contacts
- Browser
- Google Play Store
- Google Play Services
- Gallery
- Launcher (I dont know what launcher u have installed)
and see if u can access those apps normally with no fc.
How to do that?
- Press the app in settings/apps/all and press clear data and then clear cache. That's it!!

one of the worst things you can do. restoring is not an official functionality, its meant for debugging. to some extent its okay to restore user apps because these are more or lessself contained, although you can still never be sure its leaving out critical data, but restoring system apps is bad since these are linked to a particular framework, which is outside of titaniums scope. you can literally screw up your system by doing that.
and use carbon.
Hey all.
I'm running 4.3 with it being unlocked and rooted using the program and steps created by Wugfresh.
I have about 26 gigs of free storage space on my tablet but anything I try to download from the Google Play store, I get an insufficient storage error.
It started when I tried using Lucky Patcher to remove some of the ads found in certain apps.
I can install apps just find if I use an .apk file.
Any help on this?

Try clearing cache and data from the play store and play services. Then reboot and see if it works. Maybe use ad block the next time

I'm getting this exact same error, but only on a few apps like Facebook, DropBox and IMO. All other apps install fine and I can install apps from the Amazon store.... weird.
I have tried to whole the play store data and cache, no go though.

I believe it's a Play Store 4.3 bug, my tablet worked fine with 4.2.2 and my S4 appeared those bugs as well when I updated, maybe you should try uninstalling Play Store updated and/or clearing its cache, I didn't try yet, but may give out something.

I experience something i think is related:
I've put my vacation movies and picutres on the tablet and I 've just 1,8 Gb of free space left on it. Everything runs good. I opened the play store to update some apps and then it started lagging hardly.... It0s not the first time happens to me. I've already went back to full stock one time formatting everything, but same problem.... I'm JWR66Y rooted with SuperSU. The first time i had this problem i cleared the Dalvik cache via CWM, but nothing changed.
If i can I try to clear the Play Store cache....
Any other ideas???

Same here. JWR66Y and SuperSU.
There was some option in Lucky Patcher and after I clicked on it, no more troubles.
I think it had something to do with clearing the overall cache or something.

Yeah, it's an app.
It will let you remove Google Ads from many installed programs.
Tried the cleaner, still no go for me. I've got about 1.8GBP free... still some new apps update fine while others fail. Sound like it's time to do a full Rom refresh install.

I've 14 Gb free and now, after cache clean, it works fine. How long ago did you make a full ROM refresh??

Ok, a full wipe and clean install worked. Prior to this I even removed 50% of my apps... and still no go. Something must have got screwy with a dirty update.
For anyone else that runs into this.
Try a cache cleaner, app cleaner, then uninstall large apps, if all else fails, do a factor reset (except external memory/aka SD) and you should be good to go.
Ran SD Maid system clean. It removed almost 100mb of data in lost directories, seemed like mostly log files. This fixed it for my wife and I (we have the same phones, i777). We couldn't update google apps before i tried this, all other apps updated just fine.
My wife's phone...
Anyone know why she should be getting this message for the likes of Google chrome, drive, play books, search, etc, etc... clearly, it can't be true!
I have her bootloader unlocked, rooted, running xposed with a couple of modules, and a tweaked kernel (ziddey's USB-OTG tweak).
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't get any of these apps to update!

Possibly need to update Google services , that said I have never came across or seen anyone come across this problem.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah, I'm completely baffled. No one else with ziddey's kernel tweak is complaining about this, so I'm hesitant to suspect it.
Cleared cache and dalvick, fixed permissions, cleared data on the play market and vpn'd into the US, still same problem.
I'm not sure how I would update Google services... isn't that something that would update automatically?

No it will not auto update, but it will usually prompt you once you update an app that needs it... there will be a "Security Update required" notification in the drop-down, if you swipe it away or don't allow it to update, Android will gladly let you but your apps will not function properly that require the update. The current version installed can be found in Settings-Apps-All- Google Play Services and should be 4.3.25 (1117461-036) as of this posting
It will also not allow you to search or find it in your Apps list in the Play Store without the direct link, so here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms
Hope that helps, because otherwise a factory default might be in order, and if the problem still persists, reflashing stock images could be required.

I guess I'll have to flash back to stock - no idea why this is still happening...
I tried sideloading the latest Google Play Services, it worked, but still the "you're device isn't compatible..." error appears for many apps. Then I tried deleting accounts, clearing cache and dalvick, fixing permissions, then re-adding accounts. Same. Then I tried sideloading the latest updates of a couple of google apps (books and drive) - it worked, but still the error message in the Play Store.
Oh well. I guess that's that.
Did you modify the screen resolution? if so that could be why you are receiving that error. I experienced that with my Galaxy Nexus. If you keep resolution stock it shouldn't display that message unless for whatever reason the app truly isn't compatible with the phone.
Ive had this issie with certain apps that i KNOW are compatible with my phone. Whenever i get this error, i just use an alternate source, like blackmart, or googling the app you want to download and download it from somewhere besides google play.
Then again, since you are running a lot of custom things, you may want to try starting over from stock, not customizing anything, then try downloading those apps and seeing if your still getting that error.
Thanks, but the apps most definitely are compatible with the phone. They're Google apps on a nexus phone! And they're already installed (either stock or via the market, with no errors).
I'm aware that I can sideload the apps and have done do so successfully with a couple of them, but that really defeats the convenience of automatic updates, especially seeing as it's my wife's phone.
I will, when I have time, try factory restoring or flashing stock and going from there. The mods I'm using are fairly minor, but I suppose something, somewhere must have gotten screwed up.
Oh well, thanks for all the help anyway.

If your rooted, download lucky patcher, and theres an option to download a modded google play store. Have no idea if this will help with your issue, but its just an idea if wanna wanna give it a shot.

He already has the apps installed, that's not the issue, these are even stock Google apps saying they are incompatible after successfully installed. Unfortunately this is probably a wipe and reinstall situation now.

or he should watch at the build.prop or there is something edited or need to wipe data from google playstore or there is some xposed module which is causing it I don't know but if you edited a lot on that custom rom with kernel and like that backup it first don't go immediately to stock or else it was just wasted time for you. It could also be your dpi but I don't think that's it also wipe cache in recovery that might work.
I'm sure this will work for you.
Open Settings app → Tap on Apps → Look for the Google Play Store and tap on it → Press on three-dots at the right corner and Tap on Uninstall updates → Tap on Ok to confirm
That's it!

Master necromancer!
Hi,
I've installed the Pixel-launcher apk and made it as system app through Titanium Backup.
Now I wanted to uninstall it again, but it is not working. I can un-systemize through Titanium, but it still shows as systemized app in the settings.
When I try and uninstall through Titanium it gives me the error "apk not found" even if I try and force uninstall through safety loophole.
Any ideas what I can do?
I want to uninstall to install the rootless Pixel launcher from GitHub
Thanks
Manu

So, I stupidly tried to upgrade my oneplus contacts app from 3.4.2 to 4.0 (which I assume is for android 11) and now the app just force closes every time and is unuseable. I'm on android 10 10.5.12AA
On google I used to be able to uninstall updates but I don't see that with the oneplus system apps.
Any tips?
TIA
Nobody?
Still can't use oneplus contacts app. It just force closes every time.
Had to download google contacts, which is ok but I've been enjoying using more of the oneplus apps.
How did you update? Did you remove the system app and then installed the new version or just simply installed the new versionv without removing?
If latter, just disable the app, it'll tell you that all updates will be uninstalled and the app will be restored to factory version. Once done, just enable it again, and don't update.
it was the latter but updates don't uninstall when you disable the app.
That's the way it always worked on my google phones.
I just tried again and it just disables the app and nothing more.
Thanks for trying to help.
