Just upgrade to xiaomi 11 eu rom, but i don't think there's a difference between it and official rom. So i get the "youtube keep stopping" notification for every minute, which is natural cuz i dont use the app at that moment. I try to get rid of the notification, or at least stop it from blocking screen but find no clue. Tks for anyone can help.
Reset the app or freeze

Does anyone know how to stop the screen from waking up every time i get a text? I have been looking through the settings for quite some time and was unable to find anything to help me out.
Nothing in the stock app, you need to get sms popup from the play store and once you install it, you need to disable notifications on stock sms app, go into the sms popup and in settings enable notifications and set keep screen off and that should do it.

I hate this. I've tried wanam framework and lock screen policy app. Neither can get that stupid feature turned off.
Custom Roms seem to have this don't know how to enable this any other way.

Since installing "OptimizedCM-12.1-20150725-jflte":

Whenever I get a Voicemail notification my Galaxy S4 gives a notification audio/noise every few minutes until I clear the notification.
I don't always want to clear it it's useful to see the notification to remind me to come back to the voicemail message later.
Any ideas? Thanks
Maybe it's some sort of reminder option from the settings somewhere.
Hi,
I've had a really good look. I can't find anything. Any idea?
Unless it's a CM12 bug, I can't think of anything else.
Hey this question seems simple initially, but how do you disable SystemUI notifications? I'm talking about that grey notification that shows up on the lower part of your screen right over your keyboard. Whenever I start downloading something or quickly switch apps, it always seems to pop up and display some stupid arbitrary message. It's incredibly ANNOYING when you need to type something quickly and it's covering your keyboard. Does anyone know how to disable this? I've been using Android for over 5 years and I still haven't been able to figure this out lol.
I'm not sure if you're rooted or anything and I haven't tried it directly, but you can try the EnhancedToast Xposed Module. By description, it'll log the messages that display and then you can disable them as you see fit. Give it a look here EnhancedToast I hope this helps!
Hi there,
As in title, clock and alarms problem.
When screen is off, and alarm is set, I hear only a quick start of it, and then silience (like couple miliseconds of noise and then
nothing). It happens with every app. It is happnn' almost on every rom on my retarded phone. If screen is on while alarm starts, I can hear it, but when screen is off it is bad as you know. If alarm on off screen start, and I turn screen on, it looks like it's still going but without noise (I can stop the noiseless alarm...).
Now the second part, I can install only couple Clock apps from market (on most I get Error505). For example the google Clock app can not be inatalled, but KKClock can be, but the "no sound" problem occure.
I tried to wipe app data of KKClock and google play.
One more thing, after i push google Clock app into system apps through Root Browser, it appears, but when i try to open it is forcing close...
Help me I'm getting late at the morning
Repost : Please help, I really don't know what to do... I have no task killers and settings about apps in background are default.
Best option is to install a fresh rom wipping the data catch a such....when done without installing anything test the alarm app first! If problem insists it could be related to your kernel or you have a hardware problem.
The force closing of google clock did you give the correct permissions to the system app?

Hi, i've using oficial Oreo for a day now, and i have the same problem that in the previews, the annoying heads up notifications. I can't find the way to disable them in the settings, i did it through adb comands and use the floatify app but it have a problem with de notification bar, it overlap and it's annoying as well, i tried some other similar apps but they aren't optimiced for Oreo, do anyone of you know how to add a few seconds to the stock heads up? or an app that doesn't have so many problems, or i just have to wait a while?

When you say "heads up notification", are you referring to peeking where there's a short pop up message over the status bar? For example, every time I get a message on Facebook Messenger, there's peeking. If so, that frustrated me as well and I loved it when I could turn if off with Nougat's Power Notifications controls.
I finally found a way to disable peeking; I had to turn off sound by going to Facebook Messenger's App Info - App Notification - disable [Allow Sound]. I already use Lightflow to customize sounds/vibrations from my Nougat days. Once I disabled [Allow Sound], peeking stopped but I could still hear sound/vibration through my customization in Lightflow.
Problem solved for me.
Feel disgusting to heads up notification too.
try "Gaming Do Not Disturb"
I open it all the time to ban heads up notification
Here is how to set notification on oreo. go to setting > app And notification > then select your app for which you want to turn off or reduce importance of notification. If you select preference urgent / high / medium and low. then low means no sound no visual notification and urgent mean sound and popup.
Apps like telegram: it doesn't work properly, I have to do this for each conversation and group and that's annoying. any other tips? and the thing is it does revert back to urgent after few notifications
