Hey there i don't mind if anybody had this recognized too... but the Microphone level is quite too high!
to me as non dev it seems that the microphone on normal (not loudspeaker calls) is sensitiv as in loudspeakercalls it should be...
because that we have the heavy noises when calling! (not a big problem when using the loudspeaker mode because than you didn't talk directly to the mic and the voice didn'ts gets overpitched on the other side!
just try to call your self from a nother phone and then enable the loudspeaker mode... you didn't hear changes in mic. level ...

maybe its a small and easy thing to change this?!

write kernel driver to control appropriate HW!!
HD2 as sensor for reduction noise,
it need implemented on Linux Kernel
i think the mic is just to sensitiv in normal calling mode (non loudspeaker mode)
... no need for the noise reduction sensor (are you sure that there a second mic to reduce noise..)
But i found a solution, just use the Headphones ... no Noise on the other side

But this is a trick and not a solution for everyday use. I think the Mic Level is to high, too. I think that is the problem that every one have with "echos" maybe?! Anybody can fix this to try it out?
Hello , I Have 2 HD2s and I use one as a phone and one as a media/gaming device. Is there any way to make the back speaker louder, with some sort of amplifier....also is there anyway to make the front speaker a loud speaker as well...

When I am on a call my mic is soooooooo low. They can only hear me when the mic is right up to my mouth, not in normal talking position. Any fix or is my phone broken physically?

Hifi record needed to be off, thanks for the indirect advice
When I try to record the sound of a band or musical group my redmi 2 didn't record the sound right and in many parties I needed to throw the file away just because the audio is too bad of it and this is caused by the noise cancellation mic. There's a way to me disable it?

Could it be to do with the Automatic Gain Control?
Hi.when i call my contacts,they hear their own such as echo!for me not problem but for may contacts is a big issue because have echo their voice.
I test with 3 carrier simcard and also do factory reset but issue persist yet .
Android version is 8.1 last build.
Could be a problem with the noise cancelling microphone under the rear glass. Make sure the hole is not obstructed with lint etc. If you're rooted go into the build.prop and change:
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true --->>> false
persist.audio.fluence.speaker=true --->>> false
If not rooted try covering the noise cancelling mic hole with a small piece of tape and try a test call.

I don't like to root my device.
Cover the rear mic under camera flash with tap but issue is persist.when i reduce the call volume under half the echo decreased but the call quality be poor.

I used a fine tipped needle and carefully swept over the mic. I stuck it in pretty far just be super careful. Since doing that not one issue with echo and all other call issues where resolved.

I actually did both sides but I think the back is most important.

Just clean around the speaker slots would have to be the bottom one where the mic is located.

I just used a needle and some alcohol pads. Didn't need to open the phone. Hopefully it clears up or lessons your issue.

I solve myself issue finally.
Root my phone and use a simple app and it fix my problem.
