The Speaker

Is it me , or does the speaker on this phone suck really bad? music is not to bad, but any time i call any where and am put on hold, the speaker rattles and sounds blurry? even when I turn the volume down to near zero it sounds like its blurring still.
This is when I am in speak mode, not up to ear mode.
Any one else notice this? or have this problem? or is it just a defect on mine?

The speaker phone works great for me. It could be a bad speaker. Some post have showed people needing a new phone cus the speaker sounded blown out?!

[BUG?] Microphone record volume level too hight causes noise in calls

Hey there i don't mind if anybody had this recognized too... but the Microphone level is quite too high!
to me as non dev it seems that the microphone on normal (not loudspeaker calls) is sensitiv as in loudspeakercalls it should be...
because that we have the heavy noises when calling! (not a big problem when using the loudspeaker mode because than you didn't talk directly to the mic and the voice didn'ts gets overpitched on the other side!
just try to call your self from a nother phone and then enable the loudspeaker mode... you didn't hear changes in mic. level ...
you want to report
maybe its a small and easy thing to change this?!

write kernel driver to control appropriate HW!!
HD2 as sensor for reduction noise,
it need implemented on Linux Kernel

i think the mic is just to sensitiv in normal calling mode (non loudspeaker mode)
... no need for the noise reduction sensor (are you sure that there a second mic to reduce noise..)
But i found a solution, just use the Headphones ... no Noise on the other side

But this is a trick and not a solution for everyday use. I think the Mic Level is to high, too. I think that is the problem that every one have with "echos" maybe?! Anybody can fix this to try it out?

Way to increase the mic sensitivity?

Is there any kind of special setting or tweak I can do to make the mic more sensitive? People sometimes having trouble hearing me on the phone and I talk fairly loud as it is. I usually end up having to plug in headphones and hold the phone like a microphone to have a normal conversation.

Yes. It's called the Voodoo sound app. Check it out on the market. Some roms even have it baked in. There's an option to change the mic settings

Low Call Volume

Hey guys,
Recently my in call volume has been insanely low. Like I can barely make out what I'm hearing low. But when I put the call on speaker it works fine, and regular audio works fine so I assume it's not a speaker issue. Anybody know how to solve this issue?

make sure the mic on the back under the camera is not bieng covered. (by a case or your finger)

I have no case and it's definitely not my finger. I think it's a software bug of some sort. People can hear me fine, I just can't hear them.

Root, flash elementalx kernel, install ex manager, go to sound, and bingo!!

Microphone works on speaker but not in earpiece

My device was dropped from my hand
After that the mic in call is too low or even when I make a voice note on whatsapp
But during a call when I turn on speaker it works perfectly and the other person can hear me well
But when I turn off speaker (earpiece) the other person can't hear me.. Even when I increase the mic gain to maximum power via kernel auditor the mic is still very low!
How can the mic works in speaker mode perfectly and not in earpiece.. I tried different roms but it didn't work
Any help?

Bro flash any other ROMs and see it fixes the problem. If it doesn't then I'm dead sure that your phones microphones is messed up. But then you would have to take it to the service center.

I have similar problem dude can anyone tell me fix about this...
