I saw a Thread for LG V30 about ported Miui 11 and Funtouch OS.
the port works almost 100% but still a daily driver.
I'm wondering if any of G6's developers port that rom to this phone

nobody port it yet
probably wont port Miui 11 and Funtouch OS. Because existing custom ROMS has bugs and problems. And G6 is old phone and not very popular

We have seen so many 4.4.4 roms for yureka and the phone itself has a great developer support.
Just curios to know that Is it possible to port Ubuntu Touch to Yureka.
Also the OxygenOS has been released by OnePlusOne, and porting it to yureka could be possible?
This could be another way of creating the best YUser experience.

I will try porting Oxygen but only when official Cyanogen 12 is released for our phones so that it can be 64 bit and also be made with new sources.
That's great.

I haven't got redmi 2(I've got one, but I killed when my pc crashed during a fastboot flash), but I think it haven't got any ported lp or mm rom, bec compiled roms are more stable. And ther isn't any rom which uses the lollipop bootloader too. Try to learn how to compile roms and kernels, it's not a very hard process.
I have some experience with porting (I have a Huawei Y550) and I ported roms from redmi 2.
Miui isn't a good base for porting. You need to choose the type of the rom you want to port: aosp or cm
If cm you need to use a cm rom as base and the same with aosp. If you want to port miui 8 (and you won't do it, bec redmi 2 will have official miui 8 soon) you can use it. I tried miui as base on y550 and it's many times harder to port with it (and it will be very unstable too.)
I hope it helped you, good luck for porting!

As MIUI 7 based on Marshmallow was released some months ago by Xiaomi i was wondering how many of you would like to have this rom on their phone. It would not be so hard to port because there are many talented developers around and the Xiaomi Mi 4 has the exact same cpu as LG G3 and its got its own official rom. Also, another question would be if you find this rom more attractive than aosp roms or stock based roms.
Our devlopers are workng hard and presented us soo many cm and cm based rom in such a short period of time.......all of them are great and can be used for daily driver
Moto g4 plus has such a grat development team...
After soo many cm hope we see soon some custom ui such as color os or flyme os
I'm just wondering if there are any other roms other than Lineage OS with the latest version of Android? I know Lineage OS is good and all but having variety would also be great. Is GSI supported on LG V20 H918 or something?

Check out superior os and crdroid, both amazing roms with a great dev maintaining them, i've been running his roms for about 1 month and it is an amazing experience, stable af and performs vary well, and we have fixed the mic sensitivity issue, and are currently experimenting with V30 blobs. Both are based on android 11. His build of crdroid isn't posted on xda so join the telegram group to see that.
