nawh man, i use the great value extra version of those, its 10 cents cheaper.

that must be some sd card he has there considering I can pick up a brand new G1 for less than 100 from t-mobile directly with contract or pick up a used no contract G1 from craigslist for about 75

You know you still have like 1 1/2 weeks to contact HTC for warranty since the phone is still under a year. I think it was released Oct. 20th.

will they repair it even though i was trying to modify it?
and i do like the convenience of not having to root it so my offer still stands

Not yet. I was just checking it out tonight. I might email them on Monday, and wait till my G2 gets in before I was to ship them my Vibrant.

Good lord I can't figure out if this company is a joke or if people actually purchase from them. I took a look at their prices and you have to shell out $100+ for each individual mod. In same cases the mod costs more than the phone itself ($250 for iPhone 4 mod...).

there was a blurb announcement somewhere that either a carrier in portugal or spain was releasing the SGS galaxy in white
kept meaning to find out who the carrier was and see if i could buy a white back cover but never got around to it - waiting to see if i keep the vibrant (if the gps issue gets resolved, i will)

there is a fix for the gps out via xda.

haven't seen one that didn't demo the FFS syndrome (Fresh Flash Syndrome) - once installed for a few days to a week, it goes to **** again (except for allgamer's claims)

Just got my Dork Gizmo kit with a Hard Shell Case for travelling and an HDMI cable,USB cable and a key hook? Weird. (Suppose to say from 'Amazon' dunno why the hell it didnt appears as i typed it.)

I got the same hardshell so far I love it! Keep us posted on the 32gig card I'm still saving pennies for that one lol.

Well I use my 32GB card today and its real nice to have aloooot of space.
And it works fine! Speedy, Kingston class 4.
I love the hardshell too, its a liiiittle bit hard to close the hard shell with the protective casing on but still it works! And that makes it awesome for travel.
Next thing is Skinomi screen protector and im done!
Loving my Acer more and more everyday!
Just wish they would make a keyboard dockstation so one can have the option of using it as a notebook and of course double the battery time or more since the dock would have batteries too.
The one they released not is a f-ing joke...

I bought this package from the suggestions here. I love the hdmi and the usb cables. I had thought that the case would be a tight fit, but loving the price and package.

I have the standard Acer gel case. Do you think there is enough room for the tablet to fit in the hard case with the gel case on it? It isn't thick. I really like that hard case.

I would think that you can fit the gel case in the hard case. Its pretty roomy, and I think its a little TOO roomy for my taste

I use it with the official Acer case INSIDE the other Hard Case(the one that look identical to Ipads) and I have no problem with too much room, in fact its borderline to tight but it feels sturdy and safe.

Give me another 10 hours. I am not near a computer

Yes I believe they do, you can just proceed to checkout when you are in Amazon after adding it to your basket and then you can confirm if you can receive it in your country.
But I believe it should be able to be delivered worldwide yes.

Yup I agree cant wait to see Robbie's photographs. I've just started using the Wave case today as well. But the clear one. I was using a black flexishield and the Wave was just lying around. Tried it on today and I feel this is way better.
it is thinner, grippier and also doesnt heat up as much

I bought mine for £5 from a shop called chitterchatter where I bought my phone from. Mine was by a company called 'Konect' but it's probably the same case sent out to different sellers. You can get it dirt cheap here on ebay

That is just the standard S-Line Case churned out from China and available all over the web at varying prices. I can't believe some companies get away selling these at such prices online, the margins are ridiculous. I got mine for £2.50 on eBay and it must be said, it is an awesome case which I'd recommend it to any SGS2 user. Previously purchased a few other TPU cases and none of them compare to the S-Line (Flexishield/Super Case/Sleekcase or whatever).

Nope, i just thought it offers much better protection than the other cases that don't cover the screen. And being a former HTC Touch HD user i was used to a much thicker phone design, almost dropped the sammy couple of times before buying the case, cause i wasn't used to such a thin phone.

Yea I agree without the case, it is a very slippery bugger. With the case, it just manages to stay in your hands.

Well the front is unprotected so the chrome bezel might get scratched. But the back is fully protected. I've also been using the sae case for my N8 for months and it hasnt got any scratches on it.
But the best thing is that its very light and quite thin. Also looks great on the phone.
So I'd say for scratches it's pretty good. But for impacts, I'd suggest the tough case or some silicon/flexihield case.

Motion on ATT version not working?

I have the International version, but they should be the same. Green check mark in box to turn on. Green sliders on options means on. Gray off. Pretty self explanatory. Again, just double checking.

ofc they are all turned on- that's why i'm posting this thread. anyways i'm waiting on someone who has the att version to try it out

Nice first defective ATT S3 worst part is theres no where u can take it in to get it exchanged for at least a few days =/

I have the AT&T version as of about 5 hours ago and although I have not tested all the motion controls, the ones I have all work. Tap top, moving icons on homescreens, tilt to unlock, tilt to zoom are all ones I know are working for sure. I will let you know if I find any that are not.
edit: I just tested pan images and it works too.

Try restarting? See if that might work.

i did restart several. pan does work strangely (holding icon to place on a home screen), but screen capture, tapping top, and prolly a bunch of others i didn't try dont work. no problem i'll just play with this till they get new ones. 30 days is fine

Did you try recalibrating it? That's a really important and potentially easy fix. Sorry if you said you did; I'm tired and didn't read carefully.

yes turning on motion, calibrating, etc were all the things i first did before posting this thread. i just want to mainly see if mine is defective or if its a universal thing

How about a factory reset? I think it's always a good idea to factory reset out of the box before getting the phone setup for daily use.

all motion feature is not working??

Try palm screen capture, won't work (motion is on).
Back to Power+Home work just fine

You actually have to touch the screen with the side of you hand and sweep it across. You can't just sweep it without touching.

Mine works, although tapping the top is skitchy... i have to tap it quite hard for it to recognize. white att gs3
