I have a great problem !
first my Galaxy Note is From UAE Version 7000XXLA4
Original rom is 2.3.6 Gingerbread
I have normaly root'it with Odin
and I discover ICS 4.0.3 by Internet Site Frensh GalaxyNote.fr
I have making a beackup with ClockWorkMod in internal Card and Make copy in my PC
and begin flashing with odin, my sun have accidentaly plug off usb cabel and the error (firmware update encoutred an issus. please...)
after that there is impossible to inter in recovery mode
after fue awers i have get solution from forum and have put fil name
CF-Root-SGN_XX_OXA_LC1-v5.3-CWM5 in odin and flash, the recovery mode as return normaly, i have try reinstall or restore my copy from sd card without success, please can you help me, i am realy in black out !

After flashing go advance and reboot into recovery again [ red pill ]
Do all the Wipes
Then you can restore your GB backup

Yes you can, just copy your backup to your sd card and restore from CWM recovery as usual..
I have do all the instruction, and where after wip's
i have do "Choose Zip file from External SDCard"
and no think !!!

after this operation in RedPil
I have download from samsun firmware (flash program) for GTN7000
after that the file contain odin 1.83 and PIT files
symply in odin i have put pit file
my stock rom
and proceed to flash, after that i have just root my device
and re-proceed recovery my clockWorkMod Backup
and my phone hase back to life again

For anyone who doesn't wanna wait for the OTA to hit your phone (because some phones might take awhile) just download this file and place it on your EXTERNAL SD CARD and then power off your phone and boot into stock recovery and apply update from external sd card.
You must be on unrooted stock NAE ROM and stock recovery to take the OTA update.
Also if your phones fails to update the baseband then just use Odin to flash the MK2 modem and then reflash the NAE modem and take the OTA again (that worked for me)

Also you might need a computer to place the file on your external sd card because of the "Write to sd card issue" that was introduced in the Kitkat update.
i have copied 3 files update to Sd Card. Try flash rom stock via Hwota but failed. Need help
It seems that it should be possible to make recovery SD using Odin T Flash. I was able to hard brick my phone by downgrading the firmware to 4.4.4, so would like to see if it would wake up again by SD boot. Is there a file available? I don't have another similar A500FU phone available for creating the file.
It seems that I'm not the only one who have bricked the phone by downgrading to 4.4.4 firmware. Is there any place where such a SD recovery file could been found?

What tools would I use?
I have a 16GB SD card I would like to put the image on, as well and the firmware (a.k.a. stock rom) for the phone
I bricked my phone and would like to try this method to restore it.

You can reinstall stock firmware with odin. You can find your firmware on sammobile.com
